One of the most relaxing places we have gone.
Very relaxing and I liked how they did breakfast where you could go get what you wanted and take it back to your room. Also a very quiet calm setting.
Just one small thing, the suite we were in had a large window that went into the bedroom and the sun came up at 5:30 vert bright and woke us up so I would suggest a blind or something for in the summer.

A quiet and peaceful retreat with lovely grounds, and so much more!
Beautiful Setting- Quiet and a true retreat. The staff were attentive, but not intrusive, the self- serve breakfast was more than adequate, with many choices. Rooms comfortable and spacious. Lodge- like atmosphere, but close to town for shopping and dining, and recreation options. We will definitely recommend, and plan to return!
Soundproofing could have been better- you could hear conversations in the other areas from your room.

All in all, we won’t stay here again.
Gorgeous views.
This isn’t a commercial resort. This is a private home with the owners living there. Expect the Airbnb feeling of staying in someone’s home. It seems the main office is the computer area right next to the kitchen island and table. There is constant work talk, loud phone calls and money/budget planning while you try to enjoy the cozy main area by the fireplace. We tried twice to enjoy the area by the fireplace after skiing, but felt like we were at work. Breakfast was advertised as included. I guess it depends on what you call breakfast. Yes, there was instant oatmeal packets, bulk hard boiled eggs, cereal, and some bagged bread/bagels on a dusty shelf. Coffee maker/coffee in the rooms and downstairs. So sure, that’s more than nothing. I believe the listing said we could have had breakfast made for us, but it wasn’t made clear on how to do it. It isn’t indicated anywhere in the Booking.com listing, but this is a dog friendly establishment. The owners own three dogs were running around the whole time both inside and out; we were concerned about running them over every time we left or returned. Other guests brought their dog as well. This is critical information that MUST be provided upfront, as what if guests have allergies or traumatic experiences with strange dogs? Booking listing indicates pets are allowed with coordination. It needs to be very clear. We were the only guests for three of the four days we were there, and upon checking in were immediately taken on a tour of the whole home and shown bigger rooms and then asked if we wanted to upgrade to a bigger room for a slightly higher cost. We hadn’t even had time to put our bags down and use the facilities, but we were given an upsell sales pitch. It set a poor tone. Room was nice overall, bed was comfortable, with extra blankets and space heater if you were cold. TV was dated.  Area rug was dirty. Bathroom itself was nice; excellent bathtub and shower.

We had the best, most relaxing time we’ve had in as long as I can remember!
Breakfast was healthy and yummy! It was self serve so we had the option of when we wanted to eat, which was nice.
My husband would have preferred some warm, cooked options- at least one of the four mornings we were there, but I was happy with the yogurt, cereal, and fruit options!
