Calibishie is untouched paradise and Veranda View is the best spot to stay while visiting.

A great location in town but not in the thick of things where loud music may be played in the bars. We booked the triple room and it was very large. Outdoor covered kitchen and indoor sink. Breezes from three directions kept it cool enough. The weather was hotter than normal and we are AC people. But we did fine. It took us a night to master the mosquito net so my husband did get a lot of bites the first night. But after that we were fine. Walking distance to some amazing restaurants (shout out to Unique Restaurant and the incredible lion fish). Our hostess was lovely and cared so much that we were having a good time.

No AC but it really wasn’t a huge issue and we knew about it before arriving.

Comfortable guest house in a beautiful location. Hermien made the stay even more enjoyable.

Hermien was a wonderful host. The guest house is in a perfect location, the ocean views, sounds and breezes were amazing. We had a private veranda overlooking the ocean, the room was spacious and complete with kitchenette and private bath. Also close to restaurants and mini grocery store for supplies. Hermien gave us so much information about the town of Calibishie and the island at large, and was so helpful contacting Wendy with Untouchable Tours to set us up for several great excursions.

beautiful view of the sea, lovely garden and big traditional rooms.

I understand the charm of the property is it’s traditional design. while I was here it rained and mosquitos were annoying. probably something I should have prepared more for.

Calibishie Stay

The units are spacious and well equipped. So nice to have lots of towels a hot pot and coffee pot. The view cannot be surpassed. This location was perfect for exploring the north end of Dominica as well as getting to the airport. A grocery and good restaurants in walking or short drive.

Only the mosquitos . We were here in the rainy season. You need the mosquito nets. They are not for decoration. If you are used to a fancy resort this isn't it.

Veranda is simply my favorite place to stay in Dominica. Lovely host, nice & tidy apartment, beautiful view .. you can’t beat that :) I wish I live there ..

Happy place to chill and unwind… and don’t miss out on the beach!

Spent a beautiful 3 nights at this stunning location. Our host was lovely and the room exceeded our expectations, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge right on the Atlantic Ocean. If you visit you have to go to Batibou beach… Just a 5 minute drive and a short hike away and has to be one of the top 10 beaches in the whole world! Even better the short walk means it never gets busy so it’ll feel like your own private paradise!

Peaceful guesthouse in North Dominica

Such a peaceful little corner of the world. Such a nice place to stay- just listening to the waves all night long. This was my favorite accommodation for our whole stay in Dominca- away from the more heavily tourists areas in peaceful Calabishie.

Only thing I would change is maybe a light when walking into the garden- the gate can be a little tricky! But absolutely no reason to pass this lovely guesthouse over.

Amazing view and great Host

A lovely house guest in front of beach , the view from the balcony was amazing , the room was clean and smell good the bed was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious

Unexpected noise due to a celebration, the owner of the guest house is a very nice lady but she cannot stop it.
