Perfekt für An-/Abreise

Sehr schönes Hotel mit Wasserkocher und Kaffee zur Nutzung. Liegt nur ca. 15min vom Flughafen entfernt und die Gegend ist trotzdem nicht flughafenmäßig. Wir konnten das Frühstück leider nicht wahrnehmen, weil der Flug so früh ging, stattdessen haben wir aber ein "Lunch"paket mitbekommen. Für Polarlichter gibt es die Möglichkeit eines Weckservices bis 0 Uhr, falls welche auftauchen.

Die Zimmer waren recht hellhörig.

Schönes Hotel und zur An- oder Abreise

Sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Gemütliche Zimmer. Super Betten. Sehr nettes Personal. 5min weg vom Strand und dem Leuchtturm. 15min vom Flughafen entfernt. Wir haben Nordlichter gesehen als wir früh um 4 abgereist sind, trotz Leuchtturm. Für einen längeren Aufenthalt wäre es uns zu weit weg von allem was man auf Island so sehen will aber für 1-2 Übernachtungen ist es super.

Für mich hätte das Zimmer etwas wärmer sein können (wir haben die Temperatur ganz hoch gedreht) aber ich friere auch recht schnell ;)

Nice, polite and friendly staff. Comfortable and very clean room. Good choice of music at the hotel.

Wish we had more than 10 to give. A cosy hotel in a unique location, professional and friendly staff, amazing food and nice ambience. Good choice of music is even being played at the Hotel.

Very enjoyable.

Staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good. Location was perfect for the northern lights. Very close to the airport. We would definitely stay again.

We were satisfied with everything.

Cozy hotel and rooms. Nice staff. We left the hotel at 4 am and they packed our breakfast to take it. This is very nice.

Hôtel charmant et chambre très confortable

Hôtel très agréable. La chambre est spacieuse, la salle de bain aussi. Nous avons dégusté une excellente soupe à l'oignon au restaurant de l'hôtel le soir de notre arrivée. Petit-déjeuner varié et très bon aussi. Personnel de l'hôtel et du restaurant très sympathiques.

Amazing, unforgettable

This was our first stay in this hotel. We stayed for 13 days and these were the best 13 days we ever had. The whole Staff is super friendly and helpful. The hotel is really clean and tidily. Rooms are really big and the interior is great. The food (breakfast & the restaurant in the evening) are amazing. Over all I would highly recommend this hotel the price is Fair and the Hotel is in an amazingly beautiful location.

Pratique, proche aéroport, calme.

Dernière halte avant retour pour la France, proche aéroport. Confortable et suffisant pour une nuit. Lever très tôt avec petit déjeuner à emporter prêt.

Just book it! A high standard and peaceful stay

A truly Icelandic experience with everything you need and more! Very pleasant hospitality, easy parking, cosy, great facilities, breakfast etc. Would certainly book again and wished we had more time here, and that there were more places in Iceland up to this high standard! The breakfast bag to go was a lovely touch and much appreciated at 5am. Thank you for a great stay!

Not a negative but the photos they so don't do the place justice. The bedrooms and common areas are really spacious and beautiful :)

Beautiful hotel with clean, wood-paneled rooms. Excellent location by the water's edge. Great breakfast included. Close to the airport yet a world away.

We both were sick while there, so could not go to the restaurant or do much other than nap.

Room was big, television worked, people were nice. The setting was interesting - close to ocean and lighthouse and surrounded by fields that were being mowed, raked, and baled while were there.

Modern hotel just 15 minutes from Keflavik Airport. Perfect place to stay before flying home the following day. Style of the hotel inside was like a cabin but with a modern stylish twist. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was included but I had an early flight but they still made me up a sandwich and a coffee to go. Would definitely stay here again.

Lighthouse and ocean view

Very nice hotel, wooden interior, view of the lighthouse and the ocean from the room. Nice restaurant with reasonable prices. Big TV with Netflix, we even got a suite instead of a double bed room. Breakfast is good.

Perfect.

Ideal location for the Northern Lights, we were lucky enough to see them our first night.

Just bear in mind you will need to rent a car as it is far out.

Cannot recommend enough!

The Lighthouse Inn was an absolutely fantastic find. Our group had the best time there. It was right below the Aurora and we got to see it so clearly two nights in a row. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Breakfast had very good variety and the El Faro restaurant has a great selection of tasty Spanish food. It's got a great atmosphere but is also quiet so not to disturb anyone. The Lighthouse itself is only around the corner too.

The only thing I didn't like was that there was only one pillow each on the bed when we arrived, but this was easily resolved by asking for another pillow. Seriously, that's the ONLY thing I can think of that we didn't like, this place is fantastic.

We loved it!

Our room (for 4) was super spacious, comfortable, smelled really nice and had everything to make you feel home. The breakfast was delicious! (hot eggs, bacon, sausage, etc) We saw auroras from our window. we tried the fish balls from the restaurant and my kids were liking theirs fingers!

Great location. Great staff, came around at 10 pm (civil time time) knocking on door to highlight strong aurora (visible with the naked eye). Everything clean, good email responses.

Amazing hotel!!!

The staff very friendly and helpful. They assisted us with all our needs during our stay, especially when our flight was cancelled due to bad weather, they took care of all the guests there. The restaurant (which food was incredible) is usually closed on Monday and Tuesday, but because people couldn't get out and some were stuck like us, they opened up the restaurant with the few staff that were able to get in due to most roads being closed. The actual hotel is gorgeous, it's like a log cabin mansion! It's really warm and beautifully decorated. There is free coffee at reception, just help yourself. The room was very clean and lovely and there was also a fridge and a safe. The beds were really comfy. Breakfast is included, and there is a great choice of delicious food and drink. Due to its location, it is a great spot to look for northern lights. Tours from Reykjavik come to the nearby lighthouse to look at Northern Lights. So if you're staying here, save some money on the tours and just look out the window!

The only negative, is one night we could hear people in the room next to us.
