Localização

Cozinha do hotel muito limitada e com opções pouco frescas e saudáveis. O quarto não foi limpo do primeiro para o segundo dia. Isolamento acústico inexistente. Tv inexistente.

Ein Traum-Aufenthalt

Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und professionell. Immer freundlich und hilfsbereit. Beim Frühstück gab eine gute Auswahl an und ich denke, jeder kommt auf seine Kosten. Die Lage ist außergewöhnlich, sehr nah am, ja fast im, Wasser. Auch das Essen im allgemeinen ist sehr lecker.

Bizarre place, nice location

The location is great, literally on the shoreline, in the center of town. The breakfast was nice with lovely fresh fruits and delicious home made yogurt. The staff in the restaurant and at the reception were very friendly and helpful.

It seemed the room had maybe had a renovation but looked like there had been many quick fixes, not nicely finished (a light covered in ducktape, old shower holders in the shower) Our room wasn’t clean (there was dust on the bedside lamps, on the room divider to the bathroom). There were weird decorations everywhere (a plastic rose in a hole in the wall). There was a hole in the door that was covered up with piece of plywood that kept falling out of the door. The restaurant overpriced and the food at dinner time not really nice.

Top verblijf, unieke locatie en goed team !

De locatie en ligging & zeer vriendelijke medewerkers. Paul is een erg leuke plek om te verblijven, goede uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en excursies en geniet gelegenheden om te eten s avonds. Eten hotel was erg goed.

Was helemaal prima , ik zou als ik iets kon veranderen andere handdoeken in de kamers leggen.

Paradise in Paul

We had a great stay here. We stayed 1 night in a big room with ocean view and 2 nights in a small room with mountain view. Both rooms had a balcony.Fantastic, cosey and very stylish place. It is a clean, modern hotel in Paul, a small village. Excellent restaurant also. Diverse breakfast. Etienne, the Belgian owner and his staff put a lot of effort in making us feel at home. Gave us good advice. The hotel has a great wooden terrace with ocean view and a small pool. You can not swim in the sea. Waves are too wild and rocks are lying on the seaside. The rooms are very diverse. Some small, some big with ocean view and some with mountain view. Great hiking tracks nearby. We really loved it here!

The shower in the mountain view room needs a curtain. Because the whole bathroom floor gets wet if you take a shower. And more bath foam. But these are minor details.

Lovely stay at the most beautiful island

Both mountain and sea views were beautiful, the staff was super nice and helpful, the beds were pretty comfortable and the breakfast was pretty decent. I complained once about the morning noise downstairs, and the same day they ordered and mounted doors for the corridors to not be open to the staircase. 👏🏻

The toilet is open to the bedroom.

We did lots of hiking in Santo Antao and this island is perfect for that.

This was a lovely nice hotel . With a great breakfast and dinner !! Organic and fresh.!!The staff was amazing nice and helpful 🥰

Non ci tornerei.

Il bagno non ha ne finestra ne aspiratore ed è comunicante con la stanza dal quale è diviso solo da un muretto alto circa 170 cm. In italia non darebbero l’abitabilità. La piscina, davvero piccola, ha acqua freddissima infatti nessuno la usa. A mezzanotte siamo stati svegliati da rumori di martello perché all’interno dell’ struttura stavano facendo lavori per montare dei pannelli. Ho dovuto insistere più volte per farli smettere perché continuavano ugualmente nonostante le mie lamentele.

Super toll gelegener Spot. Gute Ausstattung. Toller freundlicher Service. Wenn man auf den Kapverden unterwegs ist, dann gibt es solche Plätze sehr selten.

Magic place to be with view to the ocean 🌊

We had a room with a wonderful view to the ocean, which was perfect for us as we love the noise of the waves it. Comfortable bed, the interieur was made with a lot of love to details. The breakfast was great with selfmade yogurt, fresh eggs, cake and fruits. We would definitely recommend this place. Combined with hiking this is a perfect accommodation!

Fijn verblijf!

Prachtige plek aan zee. Fijn hotel met vriendelijk personeel.

Weinig te klagen, behalve dat de kamer wel vrij warm werd. Een airco zou op de kamer een fijne toevoeging zijn.

die lage am meer ist schön! das frühstück, besonders die cachupa, war fein.

es hat während dem duschen eklig aus dem duschablauf gerochen. auch nach der reklamation und dem reinigen der crew wars immer noch gleich stinkig. aus diesem grund würd ich nicht mehr zurückkommen. lieber viel günstiger reisen, dafür ohne gestank ;-) wenn man auch weiss, was leute auf den kapverden verdienen...

Luxe!

De beste bedden die we hadden in Kaapverdië, zalig voor stramme spieren na een dag wandelen. Heerlijk zwembad, veel plekjes om te zitten, lekkere cocktails en eten. Super om je niet meer te moeten verzetten als je moe bent van het wandelen, en elke dag een andere kaart. Het ontbijt is super uitgebreid, vers gebakken brood, eitjes hoe je het maar wil, pannenkoeken, fruit, sapjes, cake, noem maar op. Een buffet waar je van kan nemen zoveel je wil. Bij tienne is het echte luxe. Heel vriendelijk personeel, waarmee je kan communiceren in Engels en Frans (naast Portugees). De was service is ook goed en voor een prijsje!

Het is een beetje aan de prijzige kant, en onze kamer had enkel een mobiele airco die wel wat lawaai maakte, dus we sliepen met de ramen open. Beetje warm maar op zich ging dat ook wel dankzij de zeewind.

Für den Preis leider nicht das, was wir erhofft hatten..

Die Unterkunft ist optisch wirklich sehr schön! Geschmackvolle Einrichtung, direkt am Meer, toller Außenbereich, sehr freundliches Personal, leckeres und reichhaltiges Frühstück

Die Klimaanlage ist sehr klein und bringt keine Leistung. Noch dazu ist sie so laut, dass man sie nur laufen lassen kann, wenn man nicht im Zimmer ist. Wir waren abends 3 Stunden unterwegs und haben die Klimaanlage (Vollgas!) laufen lassen. Als wir wieder zurück kamen, war es immer noch unglaublich warm im Zimmer. Der zusätzliche Propeller an der Decke hängt an der falschen Stelle und bringt auch kaum Wind zum Bett. Was auch sehr störend war, ist die fehlende Toilettentür. Man hat zwar Sichtschutz aber generell ist alles offen und jeder im Zimmer ist live dabei .. Die Preise im Restaurant sind wirklich sehr gehoben und unserer Meinung nach nicht gerechtfertigt. Wir sind lieber auswärts essen gegangen für einen Bruchteil!

Petit coin de paradis sur une Santo Antao déjà magnifique.

La vue de l’établissement et l’emplacement étaient époustouflants. Prendre un verre au bord de l’océan était juste magique. La chambre était grande, la salle de bain au top. Literie superbe avec ventilateur très efficace. L’air et le bruit des vagues c’étaient incroyable. Le lieu était également super avec une rue très calme, un village très très beau et des aluger à deux pas. Le personnel était sympathique, un grand merci au Mr qui nous a donné des conseils pour des randonnées. Le petit déjeuné était très complet avec possibilité d’avoir une omelette. Le personnel nous a également réservé un transport rapide jusqu’au ferry le jour de notre retour. Un petit coin de paradis sur cette île magnifique. Merci beaucoup !!

Un petit bémol pour le restaurant… le choix était un peu faible et très peu d’assaisonnement. Nous conseillons d’aller dans des restos du village car ils étaient bien meilleurs et moins chers. Dommage également que l’eau soit payante dans le mini bar.

Friendliest staff, comfy bed, delicious and fresh food, and THAT POOL AND OCEAN VIEW!!! What is not to love?? Tienne is my favorite local hotel for clients and myself!!

Séjour magnifique dans un hôtel insolite parfaitement situé pour sillonner la région.

L’emplacement au bord de l’eau est exceptionnel. Le style architectural de l’établissement est très sympathique. Le personnel est très serviable.

L’emplacement est certes exceptionnel mais la proximité de l’océan est assourdissant, surtout la nuit. L’hôtel demande à être un peu rafraîchi.

Nice stay, but pricey

The staff are kind and accommodating.

The internet is not good at all and so it is worth getting your own WiFi via SIM card. The prices are very high for Cape Verde. The hotel itself is nice, however, the sea is very loud so take earplugs. There are also a lot of dogs barking and loud people on the street. We asked for a honeymoon suite before arriving but this apparently costed €100 extra which was a bit disappointing. Dinner is expensive and so worth eating somewhere locally instead.

Wonderful hotel almost on the ocean in Santo Antao island

We really enjoyed this wonderful hotel with a fantastic view to the Atlantic ocean and the sound of the waves all day and night. Beautiful deco in the hotel, a very engaged owner and very friendly staff. The rooms are large with balconys both facing the ocean and the mountains. We had one of both as were travelling with our youngsters. The hotel is located in the small town of Pombas and you can easily walk to other cafes and small restaurants. And the location is excellent if you are in Santo Antao for trecking.

One of the nicest hotels on São Antao with very friendly staff.

Fantastic rooms with sweeping views of the sea and, to the side, part of the coastline. Very friendly staff who seemingly all speak English very well. Great breakfast and really good restaurant for drinks and dinner. You can just sit by the pool at various seating arrangements and enjoy your time and hearing the breaking of the waves. Recommended!
