Beautiful location with great potential but run down and uncomfortable.

Beautiful location on the creek marred by so many dead trees. Lots of activities available but run down.

Very clean and friendly place!

The location is excellent, near a creek and very close to Denali National Park. Host Tammy is very friendly, she offered to help when seeing my wife's skin burn, including giving her Aloe vera and cream. She also gave us extra time to check out since we arrived late and were pretty tired.

Nice but make sure you know what you’re booking.

Nice, clean room. Beautiful shared area on creek. Great restaurants within walking distance.

Booking.com is confusing when there’s more than one type of room at a lodge. Make sure you’re aware of whether you’re booking a cabin (charming first photo) or a hotel room (nice condition but basically same as an average motel).

Mediocre - few amenities and could have been cleaner, but great location.

Our cabin was right next to the creek and it was great to hear the sound throughout the night. Very restful.

Our bathroom was not clean. There was a dirty wash cloth from a previous guest in the shower. and the shower curtain was heavily mildewed at the bottom.

Rustic Oasis at a fair price with Carlo Creek Cabins

Staff was friendly, as were the cute dog greeters!

Bed was not comfortable for me or my wife, but still great stay

A great place to stay near Denali National Park

The location is amazing, the cabins were cozy and cute and the owners were very friendly.

The cabins were not huge, so keep that in mind, but we knew that going in.

Misled into thinking we'd stay in a cabin

It's near Denali national Park and is on the creek

They misled me into thinking i had reserved a rustic log cabin and what I got was a terrible tiny motel type room with nothing Alaskan or mountain-ish at all.

Beautiful location

Beautiful setting. It's located about 20 minutes from Denali National Park. There are some conveniently located restaurants across the street (Panorama Pizza and Pub and the McKinley restaurant). The cabin was spacious and served our primary purpose of having a place to sleep with a private shower/bathroom and a refrigerator for any potential after-restaurant food storage.

We had issues with the wifi at times.

Good location, affordable option for those with their own vehicle/rental car.

The location of Carlo Creek Cabins was perfect for us. A 15 minute drive to Denali National park. We were able to walk to 2 very good places for dinner (Creekside Cafe, and Panorama Pizza). There is a 3rd option for those who come earlier in the Season (The Perch). We arrived during Labor Day weekend and it was closed already.

Affordable cabin close to Denali

Prices are good compared to other lodging options around Denali park. Nice and clean, check in process fast and easy. Friendly people. The coffee/food truck on the property was helpful in the morning since there no kitchen in the cabin.

Cabin was pretty basic with only a microwave. Longer driving distance to the park but that was expected.

Superb

It’s almost near the park road and yet seems like in the middle of nowhere. Also liked that there is a creek and trail in the property to hang out. The views are great.

I loved how close we were to Denali National Park, the price and staff was good too!

I liked that we were very close to Denali National Park which is the reason we choose to stay here. The area is beautiful and the community fire was nice, we meet another couple and had a good time talking and enjoying the warmth. It was a a little wet out but that didn't stop us from enjoying the outdoors. There is a creek on the property that has sitting next to it which was a nice way to relax and we took a quick walk on the trail near the creek too for some exercise. I also loved that we had a microwave, coffee pot and refrig in the room. Would definitely stay here again!

I didn't realize we weren't in a cabin when I booked it, it was a room. The room had very thin walls and we could hear the family next door too well which made bedtime difficult because they were talking and making noise. No TV was in the room so if this important just be aware.
