Jewel of a property. Marriott Admin let me down..

The facility, room and staff were first rate

My reservation, though confirmed, was not in their system. Fortunately there was another room available. Super stressful. Website had incorrect address. Clients had a horrible time finding me.

It was very peaceful and I loved everything about the room.

I loved the fact that you could choose whether or not you wanted a maid to come every day of your stay.

Very basic

Room not cleaned during two days, first day even though requested, second day as there wasn’t any staffing during Thanksgiving. Baby crib was only provided until the second night. Air conditioning turned on automatically the entire night making the room extremely cold.

Would have received a perfect score for me if it hadn’t been for the expensive breakfast

It’s a great location and a very nice hotel with nice rooms.

I called the hotel restaurant to order breakfast and placed my order. The man on the phone said he couldn’t run the ticket and give me a price until I showed up to sign the receipt even though I was billing it to my room. When I showed up I figured out why. The breakfast was ridiculously expensive for what it was. I had to pay close to $30 per meal for my small family of four totaling close to $120 and it wasn’t even good. We had a short stack of very small pancakes each with a side of bacon each, I added one side of eggs for myself, and 4 bottles of orange juice. The bacon was good, but everything else was leaving a lot to be desired. I was eating my meal angry for what I had to pay, so maybe that had a lot to do with NOT enjoying our meal. Had I known the price was what it was, I would have stopped at a fast food place heading out or if I had more time to stop with my family to dine in, I would have went across the street to Yosemite Falls restaurant.

Great, comfortable hotel, except for very noisy air conditioning units in the rooms

The hotel is only a few years old so everything is in great condition. The lobby is huge, comfortable, and well designed. There is a good-sized pool and outdoor seating area. The rooms are large.

My only complaint is that the air conditioning units in the rooms are very, very noisy. It sounded like a moped revving its engine in the room. The first night I thought we just had a faulty one so I asked to switch rooms, but the second room had the same problem. The hotel is actually very nice and the finishes in the rooms are high quality so I don't know what happened with the air conditioning (the fan vibrates and rattles the metal - it's not anything I've heard from an A/C before). We had to sleep with it off, which meant that is was 76 in our room when we woke up but it was the only way to sleep because of the noise.

Great hotel, great service, No complaints

Everything was clean, comfortable and really home feeling. The staff was exceptional. I loved checkout was at 12.

It met our needs

We didn’t have breakfast. We stayed at the location so we could catch a flight out early the next morning. It was convenient.

We were out in a room for a guest with a handicap. It was Ok, but we are tall and everything including the bed was very low.

Pleasant, a little overpriced .

Clean, good parking, quiet inside.

I agreed to a total of 260 ( which is highly for the area) and got billed 290… with not previous notice at all. Not sure what the charge was.

Wonderful stay in Clovis!

New, extremely clean property. Spacious room/bathroom. Updated TV programs (Netflix etc). Great location.

The best nights sleep ever!

Most comfortable bed ever! Best nights sleep in months. Great AC. No light crept in at sun up. The lobby has very spacious comfy areas for socializing, eating, relaxing, reading, etc. A very nice bar & bistro that is central and welcoming. Excellent staff & service. They go beyond to serve.

Excellent room size.

Made a specific request at the front desk that both of our rooms be cleaned in the morning. That was not done. As a matter of fact, the rooms were not cleaned at all. No explanation was given. Very bad form. On another matter, did not like the walk-in showers, primarily because there was no door for half the length of the shower.

Nothing special but at least it should be clean.

the location was good

usually all Marriotts are on point, but this one was not on point, they gave me a room that the heater was not working, so they switched me into another room which was a handicap room, it wasn’t even clean, looks like they didn’t even change the bedding. the bathroom floor looks dirty with someone’s hair. It was ok, just wasn’t what I’m used to. The beds were not firm enough, too soft.

Pretty good but room for improvement

Brand new construction. Everything was new and modern. Typical hotel modern style but well executed.

No free breakfast. Also functionality was a little lacking. The light switches we're not where you would expect them to be and not simple to use.
