Guter Aufenthalt

Die Lage am Hafen war sehr schön. Wir sind ein Stück in Hafen nach vorne gelaufen und konnten einen Blick auf San Francisco werfen. Zimmer war groß und sauber. Wir haben Voucher für das Frühstück im Restaurant bekommen. Dort gab es dann leckeres Frühstück a la Carte. Indoor Pool hat unserer Tochter auch gut gefallen.

Parkgebühren in Höhe von 35$. Könnte günstiger sein.

Clean and nice place

Was clean and right next to the dock so you could see ships and enjoy a beautiful morning stroll

The directions to the hotel room weren’t enough, we couldn’t find our room and had to get help. In the bathroom, the hot and cold water directions were the opposite and took us some time to figure out without any clear indications

Good value and excellent stay that exceeded my expectations

Beautiful views, relaxing location, nice walking paths out the front door, lovely heated pool and jaccuzzi, inexpensive and convenient breakfast/snack items in self-serve corner, inviting firepit outside, friendly/helpful staff, warm cookies at front desk, overall good value, super comfy beds, made for a nice friend staycation, will come back if ever in the region

Enjoyable stay; superb location. Excellent breakfast. Choose rooms with sea view!

Location of the hotel in Berkeley Marina is superb. Excellent value for money breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Option for daily or every other day service of the room. Common areas very inviting and relaxing with superb view.

Premises in good condition; some parts can look better with some renovation.

great location, management difficult to communicate with

location is lovely, in the past had very good service, not now

was responsible for organizing a family gathering following a tragic memorial ceremony. I began trying to organize this 5 weeks in advance of the service. Was nearly impossible to speak with managers, event coordinators, restaurant and front desk to organize this. VM never answered, phones rarely answered, requests not met to sit together for supper. I had used the hotel for a similar gathering in 2022 and the staff really helped us make this comfortable. Not sure what is going on with. management , but they are very unresponsive. I have reported this to corporate and one of their staff called me afterwards who had clearly not read any of the many communications, he thought I was wanting help with setting up an advance in the future!

Great location, attentive staff, quiet, dated decor.

We liked the room with a view of the Marina best. Ample opportunity to walk to birding area on one side and Cesar Chavez Park on the other. Quiet. Nice size room. Attentive staff. Restaurant was quite good.

Dated furniture and decor, the wood of bathroom door deteriorating. No exhaust fan in the bathroom (Isn't this against the law?) Penetrating odor in the hotel (due to cleaning agents?) Patio door eeds to be better cleaned. (Didn't get a chance to use pool or hot tub).

Our stay was very pleasant and we would certainly come back

The location on the marina, having an outside dining option, and the staff were all wonderful. The rooms were very pleasant and comfortable. The breakfast add-on option was a great value!

There was no furniture on the balconies (except for the marina view rooms), no microwave in room as stated in the ad, and parking was very highly priced. The hardware on the front door for protection was very cheap and could easily be broken off by anyone trying to get into the room.

Good experience

Nice views; not too much traffic.

Our room was on the 2nd floor, we wanted to let some fresh air in; but our balcony sliding door wouldn’t open. The air conditioning was adjustable from wall; but the unit was very loud. Also, exiting the parking, we needed the room key; but the room key would never work on the exit. The room key did work entering the parking again though. Other than those few issues; the stay was nice; the hotel was clean.

Parking charges should not have been there since the parking lot was a part of the property itself.

I liked the surroundings and lovely and helpful staff both in housekeeping and in the restaurant. Good sound proofing! Loved the kiosk shop in lobby.

Massive condensation on sliding glass doors...needs ventilation. Also, no ventilator in bathroom to extract steam.

Perfect place to retreat, rest and refresh.

This was my last minute "mental health mom retreat". I booked through Expedia for a great price. I could not have been happier with my stay. The staff, service, location, environment, my room, restaurant, pool...everything was just what I needed. Private, quiet, lovely place for me to unwind for a few days. I would absolutely love to stay at the Hilton Hotel Berkeley Marina again. Thanks so much.

We were looking for an alternative to staying in downtown Berkeley with so many car and cat converter theft so this fit

The view from the room included the marina and SF in the distance which was lovely. The walk around the marina was pleasant. Our tiny balcony overlooking the marina was a lovely spot to enjoy an almond croissant from Berkeley Bowl for breakfast-see note about breakfast below. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom toilette products were nice.

The carpets and walls were a bit shabby and the tv selection was lame. I was disappointed as a breakfast was advertised as included in the price but this was a fallacy. It is only included if you have some over-the-top gold plated membership. The parking was also kind of steep at $35 per day. We were located dab smack right next to the elevator, which was disruptive for a quiet night of sleep. Also there were $5 little plastic water bottles in the room for sale with a tag on them which said “Stay hydrated” which I thought was rather comical.

We’re undecided about whether we’ll be back.

Great bed and great view.

They leave two small bottles of water in your room with a 5 dollar price tag on each one and note that says, “stay hydrated.” Then I received an email in the morning saying they had charged me for the water even though we hadn’t touched them. They refunded the money but still! I’m glad we weren’t I’m the Mojave desert! It should be illegal to charge $5 for a less than 1$ bottle of water - ever!

It served our purpose and the added bonus of the view made it pleasant

The view was great!! Our location in the complex was good. Options for food was either restaurant, which was good, or a cash and carry was perfect for us.

walls were thin and there was a lot of noise from kids running up and down hall.

Awesome stay exceeding our expectations.

Wonderful location and marina view and a short distance to the Boathouse restaurant. The restaurant offers delicious food and drinks and a wonderful ambience. The outside patio was perfect for enjoying a cocktail while gazing at the incredibly beautiful view which included the marina, San Francisco Bay and San Francisco skyline. The landscaping and walking path were more than wonderful. We plan to return soon.

We liked it all. There was nothing we didn’t like.

Great location, but a little far away

Pleasant environment. Calm place. Great rooms. Restaurant with great service.

The location is in a marina, isolated from shops, restaurants and other means of transport. It is far from downtown Berkeley and San Francisco. If you don't have a car, you spend a lot on taxis or Uber.

Was a decent stay but the facilities do need to be cleaner.

The location and view of the property.

I requested a crib for the baby (4 months). The pack and play (crib) had so many stains it was disgusting. For the hotel to be a doubletree the item was not clean. Also the thin walls; I could hear my neighbor watching TV and their music.

Wonderful getaway in Berkeley

I was upgraded to a third floor, water-facing view and it was outrageous! The boats and bridge in the distance…Room was beautiful and spacious, bed was very comfy.

There were ants in the bathroom.

Placement at the marina Good restaurants near Beautiful sunsets

Dirty carpet, cheap old pillows, smell in the room, mistaken extra charges, expensive parking with no security cameras. CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE CHECK OUT !!! I went twice to reception and every time was promised that they will cancel mistaken charges. Only when I insisted 3rd time stuff committed their mistakes and cut 390 $ (!!!) from our bill. They said it was 3 times computer system glitch. That’s it - no apologies for inconvenience by coming to them 3 times and spending an hour at the reception.

Friendly, helpful staff—but property in poor condition even for the reasonable price.

Being on the Marina was nice, and it is convenient for highway access.

The property was very old, with very stained, dirty carpet in the room.

Resort like feel, for reasonable price. Would return!

We got an upgraded marina view room for no extra cost! Nice! Kind of like a resort feel, without tons of kids! (Which I liked). Sorry kids! 😂 Good location at the marina, nice views, good restaurant, small gym, pool and hot tub which I like!! Pet friendly!

30.00 per day for parking? Ugh.... oh well.

Romance never felt so good.

Had a lovely time with San Francisco views bay bridge view and Golden Gate view too. Room had luxurious bedding. We loved it. The staff was exceptional.

Neighbor smoking marijuana and management didn’t seem too concerned about doing anything about it. Very strong odor in hallway!!!

Nice weekend by the bay

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the restaurant was first-rate. The setting is delightful, and the staff friendly and helpful.

Check in was very slow. The in-room coffee was weak and tasteless. If you need coffee when you wake up, bring a good instant. Also, I would not recommend this hotel for people with mobility issues. It consists of several buildings, and you have to walk long distances to the lobby and the restaurant, sometimes opening an exterior door with your key in one hand, while wrestling your luggage--or a child--with the other.
