It’s fun living in SCP Mendocino Inn and Farm, cute and friendly Llamas and hyper hens living on site. The staffs are nice and helpful. Great location, it’s 10 mins drive to Mendocino Headlands.

Our room was very clean, comfortable and had a view of the ocean and llamas. It was especially lovely to sit by the window and enjoy the delicious, daily breakfast delivered to the room. We were provided fresh wood and supplies to make a fire each evening and enjoy a glass of wine. The grounds were also well maintained and we enjoyed exploring and feeding the chickens.
They also just opened an on site restaurant that serves delicious pizza! We can't wait to come back again!

Location…friendliness….and love of nature and animals!
Lighting the fireplace…the logs were challenging. We suggest the Duraflame logs or drier wood.
The breakfast were over-complicated…eggs (overcooked) and pesto for breakfast is too much! No need for sweet muffins or dessert - give us some toast & butter, plain poached eggs, coffee and juice any day!
Disappointed that the daily wine tasting - promised when we booked and in the confirmation email - was not honored…..

Breakfast was really great. Beautiful presentation. Muffin, egg ramekin, oatmeal or fresh yogurt and berries. Eggs from the farmyard chickens. Brought right to my door.

Surrounded by beautiful nature and silence. No TV in the room is a great idea.Loved the fireplace and the ocean partial view. Great quality essential oil infused soaps and very comfortable bed, linings and robes. Assigned parking and everything was relaxing and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
Loved the coffee, gluten free options, delicious pastry and how it was all served in the room. The eggs had garlic in them ( would prefer sunny side up or boiled egg options since they come from the chicken raised on the property) and the fruits could have a little more variety. The fresh squeezed orange juice made up for it. The wine bottle advertised online was discontinued.

The inn was very quaint and cute. Their breakfast is very well presented in a basket, however, the quantity is very less for an adult. The location is amazing - we were able to drive to all the local attractions pretty easily. The best part for me was the llama experience-you truly feel connected with nature.
There is no internet connection and the wifi is fairly slow.
There is no room service or cleaning, even for more than a night's stay. As a result, towels, sheets are not changed during your stay which is not the best experience, especially if you plan to hike and then take a bath.

Rooms were well maintained. Beautiful gardens and animals were fun for kids. Staff were friendly. Happy hour with wines.
Breakfast was disappointing. Everything tasted like too much baking soda. Where are the “famous egg soufflé” touted on website?

We stayed in The Cobblers Suite. It was clean, comfortable, and very spacious. it was right on highway 1, so you can hear cars go by, but we found the room well insulated enough that it didn’t interrupt our sleep. Plus there was very little traffic at night. The Llamas and chickens were fun to be around. The staff were all really nice and helpful. And it’s only a 5 minute drive into the town of Mendocino.
Breakfast was nice, but could use a little work. Their baked goods were the best!

Clean comfortable etmosphere
Noise. My room was facing the road and it was noise over the night. If would be good to have a Blackout curtain to blocking light and noise

Great and very friendly and helpful staff !! The breakfast was amazing and room big and spacious! Great happy hour with wine and the gardens with chicken and lamas vere great addition too. Thank you we will definitely come back and highly recommend this place!!

The location was the highlight of our stay here! We loved exploring the coastal paths and local villages! The farm was fun to explore and we loved interacting with the animals on the property! The staff were friendly and provided many great local recommendations! My husband and I enjoyed our stay here and absolutely loved Mendocino!
Spa was not open, under renovations.

great suite overlooking llama pen with fireplace. nice public spaces and access to ocean hiking trails staff was very friendly and helpful.
breakfast’s could use a little work. choose to have them delivered. one day eggs were super runny. OTOH, realized afterwords I could have microwaved them in the public kitchenette.

Our stay was everything we had hoped for. Our accommodations were clean, well maintained and quiet. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was excellent.
We have absolutely no complaints about this establishment.

The place is absolutely amazing. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The absolute plus is that there are chicken that can be fed and even llamas to observe.

The breakfast they delivered everyday was wonderful, especially eating it by the fire!
The heater was broken, which they tried but weren't able to fix. But that was ok; we snuggled up and had the fire going!
