A great hotel with good facilities.

The rooms were very clean with good facilities and the beds very comfortable. They were in a quiet area of the hotel which was requested. The food (dinner and breakfast) was very good with a great choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I was also impressed that although not requested, out rooms were made up and supplies replaced.

We came as a family with children and requested to have adjacent rooms but we were not even in the same corridor. We appreciate that this could have been because it was half term and our booking was made about two weeks prior to travel.

Very nice reasonable price and comfortable stay

I didn’t stay at the property and still expecting a refund

I asked for a refund of my booking shortly after checking in 60 minutes after checking in I requested a refund as bugs were in the room and they couldn’t offer me an alternative room Still waiting to be refunded for the room and breakfast I had paid for I asked for a refund on the parking fee paid also this also still remains to be settled

I wouldn’t consider staying here again there is cheaper and better accommodation in the area of Brentwood

The room had a double sofa bed that was open and this took up all of my free Space? The only dressing mirror was in the wrong place so not possible to see my outfit properly The bathroom fan was not working so it would fill with steam making it hard to shave and comb my hair The shower riser rail was falling off of the wall There was no proper plug for the sink only one that was the wrong size for the waste hole The worst thing was the first contact with the reception staff, it was late I had driven a long way to get to my destination and the first question from them was have you paid for parking! I thought I’m a paying guest but I need to pay for parking? I didn’t get that with Travelodge so I’ll stay there next time as I had a faultless experience with them on my last stay in Essex, they said that because I booked via Booking.com I had to pay for parking so they penalised me for booking with a OTA? That’s one way to shed customers I guess, also the staff were smiling as they delivered this news as if they got some kind of pleasure from it??? Oh and their conference room chairs are the most uncomfortable chairs that I have ever had the misfortune to have to sit on and for an entire 2 day training course, it literally took another two days for my arse to recover! Everyone at the event said the same thing about the chairs bloody uncomfortable!

Good stay, quality time together but uncomfortable bed.

Breakfast was amazing, lots of different choices, something for whatever ur feeling. Facilities were good something extra to do and not just sit around.

The bed wasn’t very comfortable, felt like a very small double. Room was too hot at times and the duvet was very thick

Not as good as I expected

Toilet was dirty and the shower was dangerous as it kept on going from hot to extremely hot then cold then hot then extremely hot . I did report this to reception when booking out.

Disappointing

Despite parking being advertised on booking.com we were told we had to pay £8 a day for it as we hadn’t booked the room directly with the hotel. Breakfast was expensive - again, we were charged more than advertised because we didn’t book direct through the hotel.

old bathroom rotten mdf door surrounds, cracked tiles Dirty carpets all in the room , definitely need some upgrades!
