Exceptional

This was the most amazing time in Tela, Honduras! Wow the staff everything here was exceptional, food was amazing the view from the hotel. I would recommet to you.

I hate it when the pictures of rooms are not accurate.

Breakfast was ok, service was a little slow. The view was good from the terrace. Coffee was good.

The room description of the Family Room in Booking.com did not match the room we were given. It said it had 3 full beds, but we were given 2 full beds and a single. Also the pictures included a wet bar with refrigerator and a sofa and small living area. None of that was in our room. When I went to investigate with the manager, he said that room doesn't exitst. But when I went down to the pool I saw this room. It was labeled as Private Residence, but the curtains were open and the pictures were of this room. They also included pictures from a yellow room that included 3 full beds, but we were not given that room either. When I turned in my keys the next day, I had my say with the manager once again before I left. I said he actually had a nice place, but was disappointed they had misled us about the room that we booked. He once again told me that I was mistaken and those pictures did not exist and never expressed any apology. To his credit, he has deleted the photos of the private residence sometime today and changed the verbal despription of the room. Still, we will not go back.

exploring at its best

though it is a bit dated it is clean and well kept

no elevator was a big bummer and as I have my mother who cannot go up stairs we ended up with separate rooms so she could be on the lower level, my husband and I ended up with double beds instead of a king so we had to put the beds together so we could have our baby with us. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as it wasn’t to a standard you would expect from lodging in honduras, no fresh handmade tortillas instead I got store bought and cold tortillas. The staff service at the restaurant was lacking from attentive and promptest.

Excellent views

The views were great, the room was comfortable, clean and well laid out, with fans and air conditioning. The hammocks and views were great. The breakfast was adequate, coffee was better than other places we have been, most of the staff were really nice.

The front desk/reception person over charged me for a beer, when I asked about it he said it was to cover the tax. When I asked to look at the menu it said tax included, and then he changed course said the extra charge was for a tip… he returned the amount to me but I didn’t like the feeling of forced tip for handing me a beer or like I was being scammed by the hotel staff. The parking lot was not paved and uneven, which caused concern for puncturing the tires.

I loved the view and the small details you guys implemented in the hotel including the rooms.

I didn’t like how you guys didn’t inspect the area for any bugs and insects such as bees. My boyfriend actually got a bee bite and I would like to get a discount from my total price due to that incident.

Perfect Choice

The location is great, the hotel is beautiful with a great environment. The whole place was super clean, the staff was very nice and the food is delicious. Will come to this hotel every time I'm in tela.

Overall it was an average experience, but completely overpriced.

The views from the property are spectacular.

Beach access is quite the trek, Wi-Fi was very weak, staff was friendly and polite, but not helpful.
