The hotel room was clean and the bed comfortable. The split AC worked OK, but not great - think it needed cleaned. The bathroom should have a fan and the bathroom door was right across from the bed- not a good layout. One of the better places to stay in La Ceiba. Breakfast is buffet and marginal. Fresh fruit would be a nice touch. It was a quick walk to Burger King if you were tired of the same Honduran 'food'.

Location is convenient, mall is about 5 minutes walk. La Quinta is always my first choice when staying in la ceiba. Their breakfast is delicious and the fruits are always fresh.

Property is pretty run down. Makes me sad ‘cause this was one of the nicest hotels in la ceiba. Lots of work needs to be done to the rooms. The staff were amazing! So kind and attentive.

I have stayed at this hotel before which is why I chose to stay here again. This time around; i was unhappy with my accommodation. My room was on the first floor directly infront of the garden and i was given 2 remotes to work my tv. I asked to be switched into a different room that was away from the garden because i noticed alot of bugs crawling in and around my room since it was directly infront of the garden. I was moved into another room however it was still on the first floor just across from my original room which still left me infront of the garden. I specifically asked to not be placed infront of that garden but for whatever reason i was left on that side of the hotel which was pretty far from the main lobby, pool. Im hoping it had anything to do with my black race. Then, i had roaches in my room! I was soo disgusted by this to the point that i started sleeping with the lamp on just incase i had to kill one again. I literally woke up one night to use the rest room and there was a big roach directly next to my bed after i had just killed one in the bathroom prior to going to sleep. Bugs has alot to do with why i asked to not be kept on that first floor infront of the garden. My bed sheets were dirty and had hair on them each day even after housekeeping cleaned my room. Thankfully i always travel with my own blankets and pillow cases for reasosns such as these. I know many hotels dont do a good job at thoroughly cleaning their sheets. Also it just didnt feel safe.

Room was small, no toiletries, almost zero water pressure. Water was kinda warm at best. Parking is not the best, we could have parked in the back lot but we were not told about it. Would not stay again.

Hidden little gem for La Ceiba. You have to manage expectations— you’re not going to find a 5 star place anywhere in La Ceiba but for the price, this hotel is lovely, clean, the staff is friendly and helpful

Do NOT stay here! Nice looking hotel but our room was broken into while we were sleeping! Manager said it was a mistake at reception and a key was misprogramed. However, if that was the case, the “guest” would not have tried his key in our door but would have tried the misprogramed key in his own door to find it did not work.
We received apologies from management but were uncomfortable staying after this. Management was not helpful and were perhaps complaisant.

I have stayed here a few times, the staff is very friendly, and respectful. The parking has security and they don’t allow people in the property until they verify with guests. The food is good and cost is fair for what your get. Nice little hotel in La Ceiba I love it !

The hotel hasn't been updated in decades. The bed was hard as a brick. Room had a square box phone. The fees did not match what the room look like; should be $30 a night instead of over $100! Even the safe was an antique & unsafe. We stepped into a time wrap

The hotel is ok. Maybe the best you can get in La Ceiba, at least for what is available on Hotels.com. The hotel is clean, for what it is, but the condition is worn. Biggest issue is check-in took forever (30 minutes; if traveling with minors, each has to be registered), and then the rooms they checked us in to didn’t have AC (no batteries for the controls, I think?), so they had to move us to different rooms right away. If this was one time, that is different, but this happens every time my husband stays here. We just stayed here overnight before catching the ferry to Roatan, so it is fine

I made reservations with Expidia my flight was cancel on American to Honduras , I could not get Expidia to change my reservation for the following day , Expidia suck .

I make my reservation through this website, and when I get there they gave me the worse room for 3 consecutive nights was a nightmare and they said it was because my reservation was thru you guys. So they never made any change, so the bed and bathroom was in terrific condition. I am not recommended this place no one..
Also they acted like if I was there for free it was shame 😔to stay there and pay al the money they charge for a such a miserable time I spend there specially at nights when it was time to rest in that bed..😡😡

I always stay at La Quinta Hotel when I overnight in La Ceiba. It has an excellent, reasonably-priced restaurant onsite, staff are courteous and very helpful, Mall Megaplaza is just a few minute walk away, and a delicious, free, hot breakfast is included.

Great location. Staff is not friendly, they don’t smile much. There was a discrepancy between my reservation and what they provided. I made a reservation without breakfast but they said all their reservations include breakfast. I’m not sure if this is a Hotels.com problem or a hotel problem, but on the website there was a $6 difference in price. They way they charged me was also more complicated than what I was expecting - they charged me per person instead of the rate I was quoted...I’m still not sure if I paid what was quoted on hotels.com or not.

Before coming I tried to contact the hotel to be sure they were open due to the pandemic. No response to emails. No answer on phone calls. Their communication is terrible.

The male that check me in provided great customer service but the females that i had to deal with on the overnight tours were not great. I paid for a double room and I was not provided all my breakfast tickets at the time of check in. I talked to the same female in the morning and she gave me attitude as if in asking for the other breakfast ticket I was asking for something I was not entitle to. She said that it was becuase I checked in alone, but I paid for a double room because its my money and the only thing you have to do its provide the service I paid for. The people at the restaurant were nice and had great customer service. By the way I ended up paying for breakfast out of pocket again just to not deal with that nonsense lady. It was my second and last time staying there, never again.

The bellman did not come out to get my luggage or open the door for me. The front desk personnel were sitting down and slow to greet me when I walked in. They just looked at me then I said hello and they said hi. I said 'uhmmmm i need to check in!?" The girl then got up and decided to help me. She was very slow and unfriendly. The pool had no water.

Very disappointed in the appearance of the hotel Not worth what they charge per night . It’s more like a one star rating hotel. The restaurant was also a big disappointment. Would not stay here again or would not recommend to friends and family .

Everything was great. The only issue was the dripping shower faucet. Had to keep the bathroom door closed. That sound was torture

La Quinta hotel was horrible!! I had made my reservation way ahead of time and requested a room near reception! Well, I was put the furthest room in the back!! My room had termites! Sink was clogged! No hair dryer! Went once to hair salon for a blow dry, was charged $40.00 ?!! No INTERNET! Could not call my family in US!! Never again!! Horrible! The only window in my room, had metal bars, facing a tall cement wall with graffiti and electric wires at top!! Very scary! The door could not close all the way !! I went several times to the front to complained , I was told they could not do anything! They charge US money! But a $30.00 motel in the US is better!! Never again!!😡😡😡
