Trip - short but unforgettable

1. The entire staff of Larisa was very courteous and genuine while serving us, be it in their restuarant or when we needed something in our room. 2. The food - although the quality of the food was amazing but i thoroughly enjoyed the 3rd dinner. All the meals that we had were very cooked well. 3. Cleanliness - the hotel was very clean and tidy and i notice on all the days during our stay that the housekeeping staff were on their toes to make sure that every falls at right place. 4. Travel - the hotel recommended us a travel guy whose services we used for our 3 day tour for sightseeing in and out shimla. They took us at very beautiful scenic places which we were unable to go if we weren't guided by a well informed person. Overall, it was a great stay. Most importantly my daughter (7 years) was very happy with the kids room which sums up the entire time we were there.

The room was pretty clean and hospitable. Comfortable Bedding and really good breakfast buffet.

The only issue is the location. Not quite closer to Mall Road.

Dissapointing considering the money we paid.

The hotel staff (special shout out to Vanshika and the Desk Manager) was accommodating with the limited facilities and resources available.

The bathroom of the first room we got did not have an exhaust so the entire room had a foul smell. We we’re promised facilities like sofa bed which we did not find, hence we had to demand an extra bed. We had booked a suit but what we got cannot be called a suit. The second room we got was always full of smoke, there was always a constant smell of smoke which gave all three of us a constant headache. I was also disappointed by the fact that there was nothing for a 10 year old to do (after all the property claims to be a resort). I have have been to many resorts but this one was by far the most disappointing. I believe the management needs to work to make the “resort” an actual resort considering the price being paid.

Reasonably ok hotel. But i think rooms are little small as compared to the price they charge.

Polite and helpful staff. Cleanliness in and around the hotel

Breakfast was average. Same with menu with minor changes every other day. Though the buffet in dinner was good.

What great hospitality means!

The people who took care at the reception and at the dining hall were exceptionally good.

The replenishing of coffee and tea things did not happen as a routine. Nor in the bathroom. The bathroom facilities near the reception needs to be kept absolutely clean.

They clean rooms themselves and provide fresh towels without asking.

Rooms had no Air conditioning and they charge hefty amount like any chain of hotels like Raddison. Buffet was included in the package, but it had no starters. The prices are too high and not upto the mark.

The staff cancel our booking , charged us breakfast and till 8:30 breakfast was not ready , we paid and didn’t take breakfast

we are regular happy clients of Larisa Manali. Shimla branch is seriously disappointing and spoiling the name of LaRisa

only the bar space which is currently not functional.

it’s too cramped and commercial. We stayed in the top category suite room which has no balcony, no bath tub. bathroom is below average. What they post they don’t offer. no sofa bed against what’s mentioned. Buffet spread is very very less and repetitive. food is not good at all. refills don’t happen on time. staff can’t handle the rush. in room dining menu is very limited. they don’t even have a bottle opener! bar is not functional. they have zero open space to walk around. no first aid facility. kids play area is a huge disappointment too with no options to play and is kept dirty all day. all in all nothing in comparison to larisa manali.

Good stay close to Mall road - but could be better.

Staff was friendly especially Shashikanth from front desk. They provided us a very friendly taxi driver Nandu who showed us different sights. Breakfast staff was also very good.

Housekeeping is bad - they always missed putting some item in the room and we had to call. Breakfast also was never ready by 7.30 and we had to wait.
