Clean. Expensive.

Room was clean with plenty of room for a family of four

Front desk staff were not available. Waited more than 10 min to check in and then were treated as though we were a nuisance. Paid almost 300 for a room in July.

Superb

The room was very comfortable and quiet. Location was good. Price was good as well.

The strong smell of weed periodically in the building. Particularly in the common sitting area.

The beds.

It was hard to get the TV working because you had to be a on specific channel to get service. It would have been nice if someone at the front desk had mentioned that first thing. I also didn't like that you had to buy pots and pans/silverware/cooking utensils in order to use the kitchenette. Who's going to buy that stuff just to lug around while on vacation?

Comfortable and clean room and lobby with helpful staff

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect for my needs.

My room wasn’t ready until 5pm. I was told there were staffing shortages. Room had a kitchenette but absolutely no utensils of any kind. A few basics would have been useful.

Stay was okay, kinda disappointed about the giving away of extra key cards to my room.

It was okay.

The staff gave someone else not on my room reservation a key card to my room without getting some sort of confirmation from me.

Pleasant

Location to the ferry was great. Lizzie, at the front desk was great and helped us stow our luggage until the room was available. The coffee in the lobby was also very good and they kept up with it.

The room had definitely been smoked in. We decided to just deal with it, but that was our mistake. We should have gotten another room. The other issue is for the night that we “didn’t” stay. We were initially going to leave then return to Ketchikan in a few days and stay one more night at “My Place”. Our plans changed, and before I checked out from our first night, I asked the front desk to cancel our reservation for the following weekend, which she said she would do. I ended up getting charged for it because I forgot to cancel with Booking.com. Yes, my mistake, but the hotel knew I wasn’t going to be there so they could obviously rent the room to someone else. They had three days prior notice to cancel. I have complained through Booking.com and the hotel, but still no refund. I’m hoping they will reconsider as I do not intend to drop this.

Nice place to stay, great access to ferry system. Good price.

The staff and location were great. The coffee bar was always stocked and very good. The location to the ferry was excellent. They also have free washer and dryer service which is a bonus.

The room had obviously been smoked in. It wasn't overpowering, but it was bad enough that we chose not so stay there for our second night. The room was very clean, with the exception of the smoke smell that was still present. The other item that was weird is that the room is equipped with a cook stove, but no cookware or even silverware. I noticed that they had some cookware in the store next to check-in, and it's possible they would have loaned us some cookware/silverware had we needed it, so I'm not really critiquing that item in this review.

Great place to stay. All around satisfied!

Staff had a mix up with rooms when we arrived and there was another guest not being pleasant, but the staff stayed friendly and apologetic. She did great! I believe she said she had worked there for a week. She was able to get all fixed and was very professional and friendly.

Superb

Our original room was very nice and clean, ect. Myplace has very nice staff who are willing to help you whenever you may need it. We had to switch rooms because of a booking mistake and the room we switched into was not clean. But, when I told the staff they instantly started working on it and got it clean for us in no time!

Kendra went over and above to help us with everything we asked of her! She was very professional and kind throughout our two day stay!

Don't be sorry. Be Better. Also, learn to treat your employees better.

Beds were somewhat comfortable.

The carpet was sticky, the a/c didn't work, everything felt dirty, all of the bedding, drapes and everything is outdated. Needs some serious remodeling. I felt bad for the staff because there is little to nothing they can do until owners actually put some effort into the space.

Location and kitchenette was very nice.

The 2 men didn't seem to fit the hospitality personality. The women was quite friendly. They seemed very short staffed.

Nice quiet stay

I loved the location, how easy it was to get checked in. I like that you have a fridge, stove, microwave and sink. The night staff that checked me in was friendly and helpful.

I didn't like how the person at the front desk is the only person there to do things for guests.
