About this house rental
Situated in Ocean Lakes, this lovely house for $400 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Two story home was built in 2004, has 9ft ceiling and beautifully decorated. Four bedrooms have cable TV and most with VCR or DVD players. Home has covered parking with room for 4 vehicles and golf carts. Overflow parking is available. Home also has picnic tables, grill, swing and outside shower. Home is located in Ocean Lakes Family Campground which is one of the largest campgrounds in the United States. There is a new on site water park added summer of 2016 which includes lazy river, slides, splash zones for little ones etc. Ocean Lakes was voted 'National R.V. Park of the Year' for three years. House worked for us perfectly. Owner was great! Everyone was happy with everything. Well stocked, close to everything, Ocean Lakes is lovely.

House was as is in listing…however I’ve used VRBO for years. And upon arrival multiple parties got sick which is not the owners fault however we had to leave abruptly during rain and so many people being sick. We left behind some electronic devices totally around $500 and again realize this is our fault however when reaching out to owners they stated they would let us know about the return of these devices we never heard back. Also while there they contacted us about our dogs which were never left alone stating neighbors complained…so if your dogs bark for any reason don’t bring them. Overall great house and as is stated but don’t leave anything and don’t bring a dog thst bark.

The house is in a great location! Plenty of room for 12 guests! The only complaint is that there are several stains on the stairs carpet and it does smell of pet urine. We did not take pets and could tell that it was a pet friendly house. Otherwise it was a great place!

Family from two different areas of VA were able to spend a wonderful week enjoying Ocean Lakes. we loved the location of the house and communication with the owner was excellent.

The home was spectacular. Only complaint is that the king bed was uncomfortable. The mattress was broken down causing you to roll to the edges. The tub was very slick. Was told to bring a bath mat but I misunderstood thinking it was for outside the tub, so bring a mat for inside the tub. Upstairs beds were very comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked with anything and everything you would need. Was very clean. Plenty of seating for a large group inside and outside. Was perfect fit for our family. Convenient to everything in the park. Located on a quiet deadend street with view of a pond and all the bird wildlife loved to hang out on the pond lawn. Nice to watch the swans and geese. Easy to walk around the corner to the rec building and pool. Beach was 2 short blocks away. Easy walk. No need for a golf cart for the amenities. Really enjoyed our stay!

Thoroughly enjoyed our four night stay. House was beautiful, clean, roomy, comfortable beds, kitchen great, decks, layout, shower water pressure good, convenient location......loved everything about it. Was able to use a baby gate at the bottom of the steps so my two small dogs were downstairs with no carpet (just to be safe but no indoor accidents). Truly the best place I've stayed over thirty years at ocean lakes. Thank you Gardner's getaway?

Loved the house! Wonderful fit for our family. Homeowners were quick to respond to all questions! Property was very clean and well stocked with kitchen appliances. Can’t wait to go back!!!!

This is a very well-maintained home. They have a water softener at this home that you do not appreciate right away, but you will. Having soft skin and hair after cleaning off from the beach is an added bonus. There are 2 types of coffee pots, 1 regular and 1 Kreig. All the cabinets were wiped down, dishes were all clean, and so was the fridge. This is my second time staying in this home and will be a return guest!

A wonderful vacation!
The house is beautiful and in a great location. It is lake front and only steps from the pool and ocean. The owners were very helpful with any questions I had. I will definitely be booking this house again!

House was so clean and decorated as if this was a permanent home. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more. Location as amazing. We had a toddler and infant the location at the pool and beach eas ideal. Will definitely rent this house again.

Kitchen well stocked. We cooked breakfast every morning and dinner one night on the grill.
The only negative isnt on the house but the campground. The water park was so crowded, people were literally elbow to elbow in the pool and lazy river. You couldn't find any chairs to sit unless you were there at open. So we pretty much stayed at the beach.

Absolutely amazing home
This house is the best kept secret in Ocean Lakes Campground. The house was very clean, perfect for my family and extended family. Amazing location and ease of access to the water park was great. The water pressure and filtered water really supposed me. Before we left we already book next years vacation there. I have rented a few houses there in the past and this one is by far the best. Whoever is cleaning your house is doing an amazing job and we did not have one complaint about the home. Being able to bring my dog on vacation was the best part for me. The beds slept great and the home has a normal coffee pot and a coffee maker for k-cups. I highly recommend this home as your family’s vacation spot.
