About this house rental
Located in Beech Mountain, this lovely house for $621 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Custom built home with phenomenal long range views on 1.63 acres near the top of Beech Mountain. Impressive views upon the minute you walk into the spacious great room with soaring ceilings and a wall of windows. Dual- sided stone floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace enhances great room, kitchen and dining area. A full wet bar in the great room is perfect to mix yourself a cocktail after a day of golf or tennis or a day on the slopes. The master suite has two bedrooms with one king and one queen. A beautiful open kitchen has stainless appliances, gas stove, dual ovens and appealing warm chestnut cabinetry. Main level master has deck access providing masterpiece views. Spa inspired master bath has Japanese soaking tub, oversized shower, heated flooring, and ample his and her dual vanities. Second level has two king bedrooms, two full bathroomss, a large second living room/library with kitchenette, hot tub (outdoor), deck access and separate entrance. The lower level has another king bedroom with two children's bunk beds and full bathroom. The adjacent rec room has a queen size futon, ping pong table, sauna and tv. There is also a wine cellar and small kitchenette area. Four of the five bedrooms have large flat screen smart tv's, along with three additional smart tv's in the common areas. All have cable access and Netflix access. Two levels of generous decking allow guests to enjoy the spectacular views. The upper deck outside the kitchen has a gas grill, propane firepit and plenty of chairs for great sunset viewing. The more private mid-level deck has several chairs and a table where guests can enjoy some quiet time or watch the local deer, which come into the yard most every day. The two-car oversized garage includes storage area for ski equipment and a half bathroom with utility sink. At 4800 square feet, the house is spacious enough to provide privacy for multiple families, yet the great room allows everyone to gather together around the fireplace. Ideal for family reunions, or a weekend getaway in the mountains for two or three families. Beech Mountain Club membership allows guests to access all the amenities that the club has to offer, including private golf course, tennis, outdoor heated swimming pool, pickleball, a fitness center and numerous other planned activities. Please contact us for more details. Escape the summer heat in the coolest town in North Carolina. At Beech Mountain golf club, green fees are waived if the temperature at tee time is above 79.1 degrees. Enjoy day trips to Grandfather Mountain and Blowing Rock, zip lining in Seven Devils, white water rafting on the New River, fly-fishing in one of the numerous streams, mountain biking or hiking. The Emerald Outback hiking trails are a 1/2 mile walk up Pinnacle Ridge Rd. Linville Falls is about 30 minutes drive. Banner Elk Winery, Grandfather Winery and Linville Falls Winery are all within 30 minutes, along with Beech Mountain Brewery and Kettel Beerworks. Visit the Mast General Store in Valle Crucis, which has been in operation since 1897. The Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster is now open in Banner Elk. it is the first alpine coaster in the Blue Ridge Mountains. In the winter, Beech Mountain ski resort entrance is just a few minutes away. Also close to skiing at Sugar Mountain and Appalachian Mountain, or snow tubing at Seven Devils. The house is 2.7 miles from the Overlook Barn, a popular Beech Mountain Wedding Venue. It is approximately 40 minutes drive to Boone, NC for those looking for accommodations during an Appalachian State home football game or graduation. It is about 15 minutes drive to Lees-McRae College in Banner Elk.

This property was a joy! We had 14 of us staying ranging from ages 2-70. Overall, the house was superb. The only negative is some of the floors were a bit dirty and the hot tub. But, that did not detract from how spacious bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms, etc. were. Also, you can’t beat the views from the upper floor! Finally, we found hiking trails not far up the road that we could drive to quickly and was not too strenuous for the younger kids.
Location was not far from a number of restaurants , groceries, and other activities if you don’t mind the typical mountain roads. Thank you for a great stay!

I know many people likely come here for skiing, but we visited during the summer. We were specifically looking for someplace to get out of the heat in Raleigh, with amazing mountain views, and this house delivered! An unexpected bonus surprise was the deer who roam the neighborhood, to the delight of my children.

Fours Moms and our teen daughters stayed here for our second annual “Momma -Daughter camp.” It was a good location for our planned activities. The property was very spacious for our group of 8. The kitchen had all we needed. Towels and the essentials were plenty. The hot tub was a hit with the girls. Check in and out times were very generous! We saw deer in the yard and the deck view is gorgeous!

We had an amazing stay!!! The house is enormous and accommodated 4 families well! The view is magical!!! This home is a perfect place to relax, come together and have fun!!! It was close to restaurants and plenty of things to do within 15-20mins. of the house. Also, the Beech Mountain community is so friendly!!!

Beautiful, comfortable, and spacious house in a mountain setting. Well appointed. Well equipped. Close to Beech Mountain amenities and activities and relatively short side trip distance to Grandfather Mountain. Privacy for a different family group on each of 3 levels. Gathering, eating, and viewing space for all occupants and guests on the top level. Sloped, paved driveway with parking and access adjacent to top and mid-levels with garage at mid-level. With some carpooling, we easily hosted a picnic dinner for our family reunion of 35 relatives on the top level.

The hot water didn’t work for 2 days and on the day it did work it took ten minutes to hook up. You also have to make the beads/ put on the sheets yourself. The only redeeming property was the view. Would not recommend staying there

Great home for a ski weekend at Beech Mountain. We had 3 couples with 7 children under the age of 7. The house was everything it was advertised to be and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Perfect weekend getaway
Stunning views, huge kitchen, and plenty of rooms. We enjoyed an amazing long weekend with friends & family. The property owners were extremely responsive and actually ended up mailing a pillow one of our friends forgot (huge thank you!).
