About this house rental
Nestled in Saint James, this lovely house for $232 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Located in quiet South Harbour Village, just minutes from the beach (2 miles), guests have access to pool, par 3 golf course, boat ramp on the intracoastal, hair and nail salon, massage therapists, Facial spas, scuba diving rentals & trips, marina, park and restaurants all within walking distance (1/4 to 1/2 mile) ! Clean and modern furnishings inside with organic bedding that is washed in chemical free detergents. Master Bedroom offers a king size bed, dresser, TV. Master bath has a walk-in shower and a bath tub. Bedroom #2, has a king size bed with dresser, TV and small sitting area. Bedroom #3 has a king with a dresser and TV. The two bedrooms share a bathroom. Cleaning products used are also chemical free. For some water fun, we have (2) kayaks that you can put in at the boat ramp about 1/4 mile down the road and beach cruisers for cruising around the neighborhood or to the pool. The first beach access is 2 miles from the house and has a shower for rinsing off before you had back home. Beach chairs and all the comforts of home. We do not provide beach towels.

Wow! I am thrilled to say that our rental was everything we hoped for. Our vacation plans started with trying to find a place that will accommodate our two furry friends. This was an excellent choice. Having a beautiful fenced yard made this vacation possible since we will not leave our pups home. The house is in a beautiful community minutes from a dog park. Bonus!
This house and community is centrally located from all of our destinations. We wanted the beach, to visit Southport, and Bald Head Island. We were within very short minutes of all! Another bonus! We enjoyed Oak Island beach and Caswell Beach for the sunsets and the lighthouse. Both within minutes of the house.
The accommodations were very comfortable. It felt like home. I loved the spacious kitchen! We balanced cooking in with eating out. We fit comfortably at the dining table for family meals. We loved that! The 3 bedrooms were perfect for our party of six! The master bathroom shower was a highlight with the two shower heads. The bedding was luxurious and very comfortable.
The living room was a nice space to unwind after our long days. The only suggestion would be to add more seating for six people. The couch and recliner fit 4 comfortably. Maybe an extra chair or loveseat. All in all a great space.
The extras need mentioning. The bikes were great, and the beach chairs and umbrella were wonderful to access. We didn’t have to pack those beach necessities! We will definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay in this comfortably furnished and beautifully decorated home! The location is close to Oak Island and Caswell Beaches, as well as Southport's restaurants and shops. We loved taking the kayaks for a paddle in the nearby Intercoastal Waterway. The fenced yard was a great place for the dog and kids to play. The hosts provide so many extras - a nice selection of coffees, special bath products, and organic linens - just to name a few!

Wonderful Vacation!
We had a wonderful stay in South Harbour. We adore this area! There is nothing better than Caswell Beach, Southport and Oak island. Debs place is nothing but clean and comfortable and it’s in a great location to visit all our favorite places with pool access as a bonus. We really enjoyed having an enclosed backyard for our kids and Deb was a wonderful host! We hope to visit again!

Beautiful Home
From the moment we arrived to the property everything was immaculately clean and quite beautifully decorated. The owners have taken great care to ensure you have most anything you could need to make your vacation wonderful. The only "issue" we had was that the listing seemed to be out of date. It was stated to have 3 bedrooms (which it did) and 1 of the bedrooms was supposed to have a bed that could be split into 2, however it did not. That was not a major for us as I just had my 2 youngest children share the bed. Also, only the master bedroom and living room has a TV. Again, this was not a major concern for us.
Overall, our stay was wonderful and the home was outstanding in most every way. We would highly recommend this rental for another trip.

My wife and I were looking for a quick getaway from the winter weather. We were very happy with the property and the property owners were very responsive. The fenced-in yard is great if you have a pet - don't have to leash up every time they go out!!

The owners wer great and we appreciate their attention to detail in an array of areas like the quality of sheets and towels, ample supply of soap, kitchen supplies and things we ended uo needing that we didn't think we needed. It was great to have access to streaming media on all tvs like netflix and Amazon prime, which made the stay much more enjoyable. We loved the extra recreational items in the garage like bikes and kayaks, life vests and other items that made our stay evwn more magical. Lastly, the book they left with guidance garbage instructions, local amenities, restaurants, etc.
My teenage daughter said that it was one of the best trips we have taken!

Great Long Weekend
This house fit all of our needs for our quick trip to Southport. It is well furnished, clean, and has everything you need to enjoy yourself. The neighborhood is great, everything is within walking distance (Pool, park, etc). I will definitely look up Deb and Joe for our families next trip to the area.

Long weekend family trip to attend a local family event
The property met all of our family's needs. Our "fur babies" loved the fenced backyard. This is uncommon for home rentals and is a big plus for this rental property. The home was well appointed and ample in size for our family. The kitchen met our needs for this trip and the home was exceptionally clean. The location was a short walk to the park, marina and a couple restaurants. Thank you for opening up your lovely home to renters.
