Nice, clean and comfortable rooms in a house with a nice rooftop deck. Located a short walk from downtown and the beautiful Cienfuegos waterfront where you'll see lots of old French architecture as I'm told this is the only city in Cuba that was built by the French, not the Spanish. Our hosts Meida and Johnny were very nice. The food was quite good. This was one of the better casas we stayed while traveling Cuba. Meida speaks english and between her and Johnny they were able to answer all our curiosities about the city, region and Cuba generally. If my next trip to Cuba takes me back to Cienfuegos - and it probably will - theirs be the first casa I look for an availability. A great addition on the way to or from popular Trinidad since most Viazul bus travel routes you through this beautiful city.

Great hostal in Cienfuegos a great city to visit for 2 days. Considering the difficult situation in Cuba, getting a clean, safe, well situated hostal is all we wished for. Moreover the 2 owners are really welcoming and prepared us great meal. Thanks !

I had a very short stay as a stopover between buses. The location was key for me and only 10 minutes walk to the bus station. My hosts were very friendly and helpful. The house is really stunning and a shame I only had a few hours to experience it. Cienfuegos seems like a great place and worth spending more time here

We were expecting to experience local hospitality but what we experienced was exploitation. The hosts seemed to push for any sort of extra service which they could charge extra for or take commission for. The room was decent in size but the sheets had holes or were yellowish. We asked for the towels to be changed as they were stained. But towels with the same stains kept making a reappearance! Toilet had an ugly smell. The only positive was the breakfast but even the water you asked with it was charged extra. The services they provided (eg daily tours) were not worth it as they were with very very old taxis that just couldn't go up small hills (we had to get off the taxi for it to restart). Overall we were happy to leave and not return again.

Quiet and in good condition, clean and tidy reasonable price, and 10 mins walking distance to the main spot of Cienfuegos, close to the Main Street. Very friendly host, there was one night when the whole town was suffering from power failure, when we came back from dinner, the host worked so hard with mechanic to try to recover the power supply, when we were worrying if we had to take shower in the dark, they successfully recovered within 15 mins. Really impressed by their effort, highly recommended

We really enjoyed out stay here! The house was delightfully clean and quiet and our hosts were very attentive to our needs. The food was really good too! I would highly recommend this Casa as a place to stay, 10 out of 10!

This is a very special place to stay, the whole house its super well maintained and clean. They offer a super attention and amazing food. They take care of you better than in any other part of the world. I would stay here over and over again without hesitation, because they treat you as kings and queens when you are at their property. Not even at hotels they clean and organize your room every day like they do. Amazing work from Maide and her husband Jonnys. They go out of their way to satisfy your needs and make you feel special. We are already planning our next trip to their amazing home.

The stay in Maide's and Jonnys appartment was excellent and exceeded our expectations. We had excellent breakfast offer, everything we asked extra was provided. Lovely hotel a quiet area of Cienfuego. Town itself was little run down and not as expected. Difficult to find places to eat. Recommend eating at hotel.

The hosts were truly amazing and super friendly . Fluent in English and welcomed us with smiles. They advised about the area and some restaurant . The breakfast was a true home cooking meal (local fruit was to die for ). I would recommend this Family run guest house to anyone any time

This place is a must stay! The rooms are beautifully clean with really modern interiors, lovely functioning bathrooms. First place in Cuba we had hot water in! They have wonderful terraces that you can see the whole city from. We opted for the breakfast which was the best we had come across! The hosts are so kind, friendly and went out of their way to help us. So central so you can see all the attractions within a five minute walk. Really safe and clean street

There are five sun terraces with lovely furniture and even a marble staircase from the reception room. Very stylish. We had excellent breakfasts and a delicious evening meal of crab and lobster, which was beautifully presented. We enjoyed interesting and helpful conversations in English. They are both very keen to please and give helpful advice. Don't miss out on this casa if you are planning to stay in Cienfuegos - it is a real treat.

Great new and very clean casa! The rooms where big, the king-size bed good and we enjoyed the terrasses and their view of the city! The hosts where very sweet and helped every time we needed it. The whole place is very new and stylish decorated. We had breakfast twice there and everything was fresh and tasty. Also the singing bird in the breakfast area, was a funny and nice touch. We felt at home and would easily book again, if we return to the city another time.

Our hosts could not have done one more thing to make us feel more comfortable and welcome. A lovingly designed and specially built 3 room boutique hotel. Spotlessly clean, private patios all around including an amazing rooftop terrace offering 360 degree views with stunning sunsets, mini bar, well stocked house bar, laundry service, currency exchange and much more. We were served a great breakfast each morning and we chose to eat 3 out of 4 of our evening meals here as well. Proving our hosts to also be divine chefs. Location meant we could walk all over. Thank you both for looking after us so well. By far head and shoulders above any where else we stayed in cuba. Sonya and gary, new zealand
