Nice, could have been better but did not study it

Location was really good, disappointment with room but my tours & activities outside of property made up for that

AC in my room was not working but property changed unit on my 2nd to last day. Also I would have love washer & dryer just not to carry back home wet clothes Maybe complimentary water in rooms Also paid for 3 bedrooms townhouse & got 2 bedrooms apartment

Awful, horrible house due poor furnishings etc, very dirty

Check in was from 15:00, we arrived about 19:00, two ladies with children cleaning the house. It was filthy not ready for us, we had to sit outside for over an hour. I went in side saw how horrible it was and wanted to leave. I asked where the property manager was as I called and got no answer. the lady said he wasn't available.

Edit in response to the unprofessional feedback from Mr. Johnson- I did not expect luxury I expected 4 star accommodation. Mr. Johnson called me asking if he could find us alternative accommodation, which I agreed to. Within 20 minutes he called me back to say because it's Christmas there is no alternative available. I did not demand a $1000, which is just over £800, I felt this was fair considering all of the problems. I left a truthful review, feel free to check me out on this platform you will see the reviews I have left over the many years I have booked with Booking.com. In the conversations and messages shared with Mr. Johnson I have only ever been pleasant and understanding. It's very unprofessional and extremely right rude to verbally attack me on a personal level via this platform to make up for his short comings as a businessman. The whole place is dirty.. The furnishings and kitchen are old worn and dirty. All needs replacing. Frogs at night because the window slat don't shut. Toaster was ancient, blew up was replaced when I asked. Kettle is travel kettle, filter kept falling out. wasn't replaced. Ant's everywhere No hot water for 9 days of a 14 day stay. The garden has garbage, beer bottles and broken moldy furniture thrown around, didn't use it at all. The main bedroom had two mattress's. Very uncomfortable All the bedding is Nylon so that with two mattress means your sliding out of bed. husbands back hurting. Bathroom, tiles stained, disgusting around toilet etc. The house & outside area over looks car park, there was highway machines parked there, along with oil drums and road signs. I don't have photo's but happy to share a video [email protected] if you want a copy before deciding to book. I looked for alternative accommodation, nothing unless spent $$$$$$. Mr Johnson called day 6, he was in New York. He also tried to find us somewhere else to stay said he couldn't so would sort a refund.

My booking was confirmed but then I was informed that the apartment was not available but then was offered another apartment in another location for the same price which then had no AC. The furniture was covered in torn dirty covers. Towels and bed linen were mixed match and looked dingy and dirty. Did not receive a refund.

Already told Dwayne that we will be booking same apartment next year!!

We have been using Dwayne's properties for the last 3 years and he has never let us down. The apartment he rented us this year was 150 yards from the beach. Perfect for our needs!!!

A home away from home.

The yard space and the size of the apartment. We are a family of five that fit comfortably in the space. Dwayne was a great host that was always a phone call away. Thank you for the pleasant stay!

Our stay was great. My kids especially had fun in the large house, there was enough space to play.

very quirt environment. Host is awesome with a fast response rate. He provided Taxi services which was really helpful. Also, there is a supermarket at the gas station behind the house, so we never needed to go so far for groceries. overall we had a great time.

There wasn't any kitchen knife in the house.

Dover Beach Apartment - perfection location with a superb host

Dwayne is a great host, he quickly responded to our messages and even bought us drinks on Christmas day. He also let us stay at the apartment past the check out time as our flight was late in the evening and no one was staying the next day. The location of the apartment is perfect. There are some great cafes and resteraunts within walking distance in particular bliss cafe and irie foods both you have to visit. Dover beach is just around the corner and there are easy transport links to Bridgetown/speightstown. All in all you won't find many places better value for money than here.
