Beautiful location . Hotel is set in geogous tropical gardens. Food is great and varied across all restaurants. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Facilities are great. Always found a good spot by the pool. We loved the piano bar and Dale.
Room had a significant damp issue and smelled musty permanently despite a dehumidifier running. Disjointed service at reception / concierge. Delivered luggage to the wrong room on arrival. Internet initially not working and no staff communication on how to resolve. Simple tasks like restaurant bookings / reprogramming a door card for room extension took forever.

Eerst zoeken kwam s avonds rond 20.30 aan en had geen rondleiding volgende ochtend om 9 u rondleiding gemist

Breakfast was fair in the American tavern, good in the French restaurant, good in the Indian.
The grounds were beautifully kept.
The bookable restaurants were difficult to book. The Italian restaurant had one hours wait. French restaurant good. Asian and Indian restaurant OK
The staff at the entertainment were offhand. One was asleep on the desk and didn't respond even when we spoke with her colleague. We asked for a football match to be shown on one of the free TV's only to be told quite curtly that only popular matches were shown. We had had no problem watching a match at our previous hotel, namely Club Barbados (and half the price!)
The bookable restaurants were difficult to book. The Italian restaurant had one hours wait. We didn't think the food was 5*
