Fabulous whare with a fabulous location

Absolutely loved this Beach House and access to the lagoon was spot on - it was like having our own personal beach. The place was beautifully clean and had all we needed for our stay.

Peaceful, secluded lodging

Beautiful lodging, very clean. I didn't hire a car but easily walked the 25 mins to the very well stocked supermarket a couple of times. Would definitely recommend. It is like having your own private beach

It was absolutely beautiful, all round perfect holiday. Will definitely be staying here again.

It was perfect for snorkeling, close to car/bike/kayak rentals within walking distance, very private, perfect for a couple.

Storage/shelves for clothing would have been good.

Beautiful beachfront studio, cracking location, a proper slice of paradise :-)

Beautiful beachfront studio, fabulous quiet beach, excellent facilities and really appreciated the little extras provided (coffee, tea, milk, wash powder etc etc.) which meant we could settle in and jump in the ocean straight way. Really clean, very comfortable bed, had everything we needed for a fantastic 11 night break. We didn't use the cooking facilities but looked to have everything you might need. Loved it and will definitely be back!

If you need a very dark room to sleep then maybe take some eye masks (like the ones you get on planes) as it does get bright quite early. We took some with us and slept very well indeed.

Great little cottage

Great little cottage within thirty metres of the beach. The marine reserve is right on the door step. We didn't have the greatest of weather but we enjoyed our stay and had everything we needed.

The fridge was set too low (food freezing) and the glass on the sliding door could have been given a clean. Maybe some instructions for things like rubbish etc?

Clean. New. Tidy. Quiet. Everything you need is there.

Leaving. When you arrive at the property, go to the balcony, walk up ramp on RHS of house - that's where you need to look. Bring a usb HDD of your tv/movies for any downtime.

The perfect first holiday spot away from our three children.

location was perfect, although it is listed as Matavera. property provided all the necessities needed for a comfortable stay. we would happily come back and stay again.

only downfall was there wasn’t any tools to husk/open our fresh coconuts from the trees on the property :-)

This is the perfect place. It was clean, well equipped and great communication. It's so private and the beach is beautiful and felt like a private beach. We will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommended

A real gem

I loved the privacy, the immediate access to the beach and the excellent vista. The accommodation has everything that is needed for a couple or single person. Swimming was great and loved the almost private beach aspect.

Perfect private location for a couple to reconnect.

Easy to find, very private. Looking out the window you see a piece of the lagoon that is essentially private. Clean as any place we have rented in Germany. Comfortable bed and plenty of water pressure.

There were two minor problem. Because this is in the tropics the ceiling fan was needed but would not run on the lowest speed and was more air than we needed on speed 2. Also while we did not expect internet, using the instructions provided, and with help from Vodafone we could not get the internet to work.

Lovely location - we had a great time!

Great reccomendations, especially the Island Night! Really good location and a few sizes of snorkelling gear and reef shoes available.

Recommendation for the airport transfer/taxi booked was expensive - renting a car for a few days is better value as is probably needed anyway!

A private beach getaway in a tropical island paradise

We loved the privacy & independence of our own gorgeous little house right on the beach. We snorkeled straight off the beach - really safe & easy at low tide, so many beautiful fish, coral, and even turtles. The house was equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. And there was a good amount of brochures & information provided about Cook Islands activities.

We adjusted the hot water system which was easy enough. The taxi driver helped us find the key box as it was dark when we arrived - would help to leave an outside light on for arrivals. Had to close all windows at night because of noisy local roosters at 4am!
