Clean and cheap, owners very friendly and helpful, would reserve again for a shorter stay!

The owners are super friendly and speak English very well! Check-in went smoothly as the instructions were very clear. The facilities were nice and clean. The building is in a quiet, residential area right next to a Daiso. There were also some lovely homemade food stores nearby. We stayed for a week, which was a bit too long considering the everyday walk to and from the nearest train station. But, for such a good price and clean facilities, we would definitely reserve there again for a shorter stay!

The shower room is very small, there's only a small caddy to store your clothing and such outside of the shower itself, and there's no ventilation so it gets humid very quickly and stays that way. The second bed that pulled out from under the first was very, very uncomfortable. The wooden slats holding the mattress constantly fell out with a huge "Bang!" everytime you moved, so I hardly slept the first night. We then ended up taking out the mattress and just leaving it on the floor, which was much better. The kitchen is right outside the bedroom doors, so cross your fingers you don't get noisy neighbours that come back and start cooking at 3AM... Albeit it was situated in a quiet, residential area, it was still a 15min walk to the nearest train station. It doesn't sound that bad at first, but at the end of the week, that last stretch of walk was becoming a bummer in the intense summer heat of +40C after a very long day of strolling around Tokyo. Lastly, I couldn't find the tumbler dryer. We did our laundry on a rainy day and we couldn't hang our clothes outside on the racks, so we ended up hanging our clothes in our bedroom. The "Dry" function on the AC didn't do much as it took our clothes at least 2 days to dry and the bedroom was always excessively humid. I should've just asked where the dryer was...

Decent hostel with good facilities

The hostel is about 30 minutes out of the main areas of Tokyo. The hostel has good facilities and the owners are responsive to all of your questions. The only thing I would say is check your bed if you have a double, our lower bed was broken so we slept one is the upper bed and one on the floor for four nights.

Passable

Nice to have kitchen. Toiletries and towels provided. We had some lovely neighbours that made the stay more bearable.

The room is really small for 2 people, more than normal. We struggled to find the bedding for the second bed when we were tired from arriving back late though I admit that was probably more my fault- frustrating nonetheless! The slats on the bed kept falling through and had clearly been damaged before so I slept terribly the first night and opted to have the mattress directly on the floor for the remainder. The sinks and kitchen were directly outside our room and people were often loud directly outside our door when we were trying to sleep. It took around an hour to get to the popular places in Tokyo and the costs of travel do add up quickly.

Nice place overall. Would stay again.

Appears to be recently renovated. Very clean, good price. Owner seems to care about the place, which is nice.

It is a bit far from most popular places in Tokyo, so allow plenty of time to travel back and forth.

Maiko is very responsive - whether it’s early in the morning or late in the evening, she’ll respond quickly!

Far from the station, bathroom supplies doesn’t get refilled, room is small. Not recommended if you have big luggages as there’s no elevator and staircase is narrow
