Behavior of owners and staff excellent. Everyone was very polite and smiling face.

The room was very small. There was hardly any space around the bed. It was cramped and uncomfortable.Even you can't open the cupboard fully. A mirror was placed above the headstand of the bed, so it cannot be used. The most annoying thing was the bathroom. An exhaust fan is fixed on the wall of the adjacent bathroom. Hence, all bad smells of that bathroom are thrown into our bathroom. So, our bathroom was always smelly.

The host mam of the property is very sweet, helpful, she helped us with the travel guide like where to go and how to go. The homemade food was very tasty and fresh ,you will get coffee,veg ,non veg food everything. The location is just after the dali monestry, very much impressed with the location because shared jeep is available for just Rs. 15 from dali phatak to mall road , very convenient for the up and down and yes, you will also get a wonderful view of kanchenjunga and the toy train passing by from the balcony of top floor. Overall a very good memorable experience we had ,will surely stay again whenever we plan to go Darjeeling.

There's nothing to dislike about this property.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing like own family ♥️♥️♥️... They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this homestay for anyone visiting downtown.... Thanks didi or bhaiyaa ♥️

Swarnakamal homestay is the best in its catagory at reasonable prices.

I liked the the swarnakamal homestay due to its homely atmosphere and amazing view of scenaries mainly mountains.

Very comfortable stay but with a lot of noise

Good food, clean room, very homely atmosphere with the host.

It sometimes amazes you but sometimes annoys you. The toy train line passes just by the homestay. So you would have to listen to heavy honking of the trains. It's a bit noisy.

The overall hospitality was very good.The couple owners were very friendly and caring..Served delicious homely food as well..Thoroughly enjoyed the stay...Felt at home.

I liked the friendliness, solicitude, readiness to satisfy the guests' whims. A home away from home.

I liked everything when I got used to it. For example, I am not used to not having a shower head above so I had to learn how to use the combination of taps. A bit noisy from the street.

This Homestay owned by a Nepali Family. All those family members are very decent and very helpful. Always smiling with good manners. I would like to stay again, whenever I will plan for Darjeeling tour in future.

"Srijani", the word means "creation". She has this extraordinary trait of making visitors feel as if they are at home. That itself creates a "home outside home" experience, and depicts the very meaning of "homestay". I'm just sharing it as a hint, The visitors may experience the rest - The food, and the view; Shall make one feel the best!

Courteous and helping staff, good food and value for money.

It was very very cold and heaters were not provided. Rest everything was good. Worth staying again but with heaters in winters.

This property has a car parking for two cars. This is the best thing i liked about this property. Finding a property with car parking is not an easy task in Darjeeling.

Being the road side property the vehicle sounds on the roads might bother some times.
