I had booked in Rani kuthi but got upgraded to the Burdwan palace next to it.If you want to have feel of a heritage stay without the over hype and useless extravaganza then this is the place.The place is a bit downhill from the Hill Cart road, but when you enter the premises then you would be the happiest person.

It is a beautiful property where on needs to stay to experience its own unique essence.
I wouldn’t say I don’t like anything about the property because we loved everything.

The view. Kanchanjangha was visible from rooftop..the staff behavior they are very good helpfull, lovely 😊.
The location. Every time I had to pay 200 to reach mall road. Or i had to go in share.. Which dropped us in a local market but then we have to reach mall by our own.

Food was not up to the mark. Distance from town is reachable only by a conveyance.
