Agréable séjour dans un endroit calme . Tout était parfait !

Bungalow spacieux, très confortable et bien situé . Monica et Arthur sont des hôtes très sympathiques et aux petits soins ! Je recommande vivement le New Moon !!

The hosts, the look and the cleanliness

You shouldnt expect all the regular hotel facilities, its managed by a lovely couple who are passionate for their work and will go out of their way to help you out. Though all the facilities can be provided or arranged for, if you are looking for 5 star facility with everything at the touch of a button, then its not tye place for you.

Good accommodation with great owners!

A very good accommodation with balcony and hammock. It also has a well-functioning AC, a refrigerator and a small kitchen. However, the best thing about this place are their owners. A very lovely Portuguese couple. They are very helpful and interested in making your stay enjoyable!

Nothing big really: in the bathroom the shower is right next to the toilet and after showering the toilet is wet too. The bathroom could be lit a little better, but it's not really a nuisance. Inside there is nowhere to sit down besides the bed, but there are seats on the balcony. Overall nothing that should keep you from staying here

Superb

The couple that run the place are super friendly and welcoming and felt like you could have just been visiting old friends. The place is in great condition. Super clean and comfortable with nice little details around the property to make it feel complete.

Everything was fantastic but it might be good to know that in the duplex blocks with a shared wall the noise travels straight through. If that's something that could affect you best to ask for a stand alone unit.

GREAT LOCATION- Just a short and safe scooter ride to the near by beaches.

The hammock on the front porch is so relaxing. The beautiful birds that hangout in the area are just stunning and rare creatures. The black and white kitty is just the sweetest and makes you feel right at home. Author was AMAZING!!! I told him I was not very comfortable driving the scooter, so he went with me for a test run to see if I would be comfortable with the bike. Felt very comfortable after a few and used the scooter the whole time I was there. I really appreciate the extra effort and he always went above and beyond. C

very good value for money & lovely host.

Lovely bungalow, our host was very welcoming & helpful - we were able to rent a bike too. Kitchenette was useful with large fridge, bathroom was clean & bed comfy. Overall good value for money especially at the time of the full moon party.

Renting a bike is essential as its around 10 min drive to the pier and not many taxis go past. Room was not cleaned during our stay.

private well built bungalows. aircon’s blow cold, include full refrigerator and small kitchen. bed is comfortable and the small road is quiet. meanwhile you are only 4-5mins from thong sala by motorbike.

very good value for the money, exceeded my expectations

Great hotel, very friendly owners. They really take care of the place and really love it. Hotel has lots of little signs and lovely details that help you fill with positive emotions. Very good location for me, I have a bike and it was like 5 mins to Thong Sala.

I was given a room in duplex house, and neighbours were a bit loud.

loud, overpriced, smells bad, rude manager, no privacy. waste of time & money.

Nothing. the signs were cute, telling us to smile and enjoy every moment, but that was not possible with the overpriced, dirty, broken, loud, and dysfunctional facilities.

extremely overpriced, towels felt like sandpaper and smelt like urine, air conditioning did not work, they were not willing to refund or change my booking, they took hours or days to respond, …loud from street noise and neighbors. did not match description, manager had the audacity to make up fake stories about my intentions for booking the place… worst booking of my entire trip, and my only regret in this visit to Koh Pangan this year… avoid this wack place and let them go bankrupt. two thumbs down for wasting my time and money.

Superfriendly owners, place gets cleaned every three days

It’s next to a busy road / sometimes hard to cross the road as it’s a part where traffic goes fast. Also: it is not in nature so if you’re looking for that this is not the place. No big desk to work at so I don’t recommend it to digital nomads. Little privacy as houses are close to each other. Regardless, this would all be ok as the owners are so nice but as I paid around 1500 baht a night, it all just felt out of proportion.

Very friendly host, we could even check in earlier. Super clean and comfy bungalow/house in a quiet environment close to thong sala. Perfect for relaxing. Make sure you are mobile (scooter) to explore the surroundings like the waterfall national park. A small kitchen with everything you need if you want to cook by yourself - dishes, fridge, electric wok and water kettle. A lovely cat showing up from time to time asking for some cuddles and snacks.

If you want to explore the island from top to bottom , this is the place to be. The accomodation is run and managed by a caring portugese couple.They supported me in any way. They also speak English. I am very fond of them. The rooms are cool and I felt very welcoming. The mattresses are hard though. They also rent scooter and you don't have to leave the passport like in a lot of other rentals. I enjoyed they stay very much. Important to mention that some of the accomodation are rented permanently. By any chance you get in contact with people living on this island. A laundry is just 250 meters from the residence.

I like location, it’s easy to reach both sides of island but you need scooter for sure

Very nice spatious and clean bungalows. Hosts were very friendly and helpfull at every step of our trip. We could ask them anything.

The only thing that could be better is the wifi connection. But everything else was perfect!

it was a nice big space with a private balcony which was nice

the wifi cut out every 10 mins and didn’t really work that well, also there were ants everywhere which I understand we are In the jungle but was kinda gross. also the tv only works if you have a laptop to connect to it via HDMI

Great price, great accommodation and excellent service.

I don’t think you can get better service than this. the owner came and collected me personally from the ferry port and was very friendly and attentive from the start. I highly recommend this place.
