Absolutely amazing stay — 10/10.
This was my third time staying at Varivana, and once again everything was perfect. The room was spotless, the balcony was lovely, the breakfast was delicious, and the pool was incredible — so peaceful, with the most beautiful view.
What really makes this hotel special is the service. The staff are genuinely amazing. Anything I needed, I simply sent a message on WhatsApp and they brought it within minutes. Everyone was so kind, attentive and helpful throughout the entire stay.
I’ve stayed here three times now, and if I come back to Koh Phangan, there is honestly nowhere else I would choose to stay. Highly, highly recommended!

Wereserved 3 nights. Arrived at 20pm after a long flights and ferry.
Nice girl at reception explained us that the swimming pool will be close the next 4 days for renovation.
I asked why it wasn’t mention on booking while i was making reservation and she answered that they can’t update booking.
It was quite disappointing as we came for vacation and can’t stay at the hotel during the day

The rooms are big, new and very clean. Super helpful staff. Great breakfast. Tasty coffee. Rooms are cleaned everyday with new towels provided. We loved our stay, it was very comfortable.
Minor adjustments that could make the rooms better: they could add more lightining in the bathroom to make getting ready easier and a full body mirror in the room.

very modern & stylish, large rooftop infinity pool, friendly staff, nice view over palm trees
by far overpriced, low value for the money.
somewhat noisy, walls are definitely not soundproof.
A bit remote, so you need either a motorbike or get shared taxi, but the hotel reception does NOT support you with ordering a shared taxi (only their own - overpriced - drivers).
What really bothered me is that when my boyfriend was sick with food poisoning and I asked the reception for help, like calling a doctor or organizing a drive to the nearby hospital, they didn't care at all and I had even to argue that they offer a driver to the hospital.
Wouldn't go there again, there is better hotel in this price range in Thailand.
