I have visited most all inclusive in Punta Cana mainly and can only mention 1 that was also good but Dreams appears to exceed everything people and staff , food ,easy access , the spa , the yoga in the am and e resides at least 3 times a day
I liked everything and only think they should also put a candle in the public bathroom as they go in the rooms , what a hood idea they had

Expensive for the services provided
The Italian and French restaurants have amazing food. The hotel pool is beautiful. The hotel shows are good. I like the fact that you don't need a card for towels and that you have several drop off points for used towels. The beach is beautiful. We had bad luck because the sea had a lot of waves so we couldn't go in with our baby much but they said that was not usual for that beach
For starters we had bought the preferred club package, there's nothing preferred about it. Its suppose to give you premium quality drinks and you have a specific beach section with lots of umbrellas. What actually happens is the drinks are not premium. When we would approach the bar and ask for a beer, they would always say that they haven't arrived yet and are on the way or that they are still warm because they just arrived. Even if you go half hour later they still say the same. Regarding brands forget about getting anything else but "presidente" the local beer and its light version. We happen to get cool light a couple times and Heineken only 1 day and 1 bottle, then they would say they had no more. My couple only drinks beer so he was frustrated and I like gin and tonic but the premium versions were saved for those who tipped, but being perferd we were suppose to have those despite tips. The second thing that wasn't right is the perfferd area in the beach: they dont aks if you are perferred so anyone goes in that area. Because of this (I went with a 1 year old baby) we never found any free umbrellas, had to share with other people a couple of times. The non perferd areas dont have umbrellas, only palm shade or regular umbrellas (not straw), for our baby this was bad because the sun breaches the regular umbrellas. We did complaint about all the above the first day of our stay and requested a refund at least on the perferd charge. They said they would but its been a month and we still did not receive the refund. This hotel was the most expensive hotel I've stayed in my entire life. I would never go back there. I prefer to pay cheaper and get the same service as I did here being perferd. In summary the hotel is beautiful and has good things. dont expect anything from the perferd services and don't expect quality drinks. For the price of the hotel its not worth it.

GREAT BEACH TIME, THE HOTEL NEEDS TO IMPROVE
THE BEACH IS NICE, BUT IT NEEDS MORE SUN LOUNGERS AND PARASOLS
WE DIDN´T LIKE THAT AS WE ARRIVED, THEY SOLD US A PREFER MEMBER STAY, AND THEY MOVED US TO DE 49 BUILDING, IT WAS WAY TOO FAR FROM THE BEACH AND RESTAURANTS AND WE WENT WITH OUR THREE YEARS OLD DAUGTHER. THE STAFF APTITUDE WAS A REAL DISAPPOINTMENT, THEY WERE LIKE UNGRY ALL THE TIME, THE FOOD COOKING WAS POOR, THEY HAD VARITY OF COOKING BUT ALL BAD. THE ANIMATIN TEAM ONLY PRESENT AT THE SHOWS AT NIGHT. WE HAD BEEN IN ANOTHER RESORTS BEFORE AND THE ANIMATION TEAM WERE MUCH MORE ACTIVE AND PRESENT.

Good
The food was delicious and the options exceeded the needs from a toddler to grandparents.
The beach was a difficult beach for young children. The surf meet the beach at a difficult angle for young children and the surf hit the beach with a power that would knock them over. A surf that lapped up onto the beach would have been better for young children. We only went to the beach at the resort.

We enjoyed our stay but overall service quality is poor and slow, sometimes rude.
Clean and nice beach, beautiful sunset. Not too many beach boys who disturb you in this area (only 2-3 but they stop offering you their stuff when you say no). Overall clean rooms, clean facilities, clean towels. Amazing lush green garden with beautiful flowers and palm trees. Food quality is OK, nothing special, lots of options for breakfast, lunch or dinner at the main restaurant. Many people from the staff were very nice, smiley, friendly, helpful (unfortunately not all of them….) Gym is well-equipped. Pools are clean, coctails are good. Wi-fi is strong enough (we did not really needed but if it is important to you for working etc, that is OK)
We had preferred club booking but it was not worthy at all. We were waiting a lot for meal in alá carte preferred club restaurants, even when they were almost empty. Many times happened that we ordered something and we received totally different food, or we ordered 2 meals and we received only one portion for two of us…. we ordered coffee for breakfast and they just forgot it….. We saw many people ordered coconut in preferred club just in front of our eyes…. we asked for it and bar tender told us they never had coconut….. we told her: we just saw that literally 1 minute ago and also all during the morning. She told us this is not true. Ridiculous…. worst resort experience ever. We booked the tennis court for 7AM one day, they told us where to go to pick up the equipments and next day they just forgot, no one was there, they sent us to another place then another… finally at 7:45 we received everything…. There were 2 weddings during our stay, one was small, nothing disturbing but the other was very big, very noisy, very loud, you literally can not hear each other during our own dinner… I understand, this is a wedding location too… without all the other problems that would be OK itself, together with all other bad experience, this was just one extra negative factor. We closed out all those things and we enjoyed our holiday, but overall experience with the service was horrible. Otherwise, location is great and the hotel is really clean!
