Our room had a new bathroom but the shower glass didn’t stop the water getting all over the floor! That was the only problem!

This is a beautiful building, very well maintained and really close to town and the beach. Self check-in is straightforward (with a little bit of help from the very kind Idris!), the rooms are a really good size, quality bed linen and pillows and an excellent bathroom including quality toiletries. The personnel are all at a high level, the lady that called to confirm my arrival time was very cheerful and professional. The breakfast was very good quality and very plentiful. There is a bar and lounge area with historical pictures and books on the local area. In all it was a super stay and will definitely return when next in Falmouth.

The spa treatments are quite expensive and there doesn’t seem to be any form of a discount for guests disappointingly.

The breakfast buffet was run out of beans and eggs & bacon so had to wait , also run out of plates so had to wait food wasn’t very hot , the fresh orange was also run out again had to wait , lots of walking round to different areas to find own breakfast to find things run out and keep having to ask staff for things was very annoying. Location of hotel was good with parking, staff were friendly and helpful .

Pool out of action as we were really looking forward to a swim and spa and was one of the reasons I booked this hotel spa Was told we could use the outside hot tub to find out this also didn’t work Breakfast was a nightmare , cold and disappointing
