Great location in a beautiful old building with great facilities and staff.

Service at the restaurant was quite slow even though the number of customers was low.

Everything! Location was excellent. We were able to walk easily into town and back, even pushing a wheelchair so no need to drive locally. This opens up shopping and river cruises etc.The hill back was cheeky but manageable. When going further afield easy access to main roads out. Flat walk along the coast was excellent. All staff we met were outstanding. Lovely hotel we will go back.

My wife thought the bed was too hard. I loved it!

Excellent location and very clean.

A very unfriendly welcome after a long journey. Very factual - not smiles or proper greeting. We asked twice for neighbouring rooms and despite arriving just after three we were told it was not possible. I was asked when we wanted breakfast on arriving - having been asked twice before we arrived and having already told them. Breakfast was average. Tomato juice was bad/fizzy and the coffee maker didn't work. And a very weird thing: room keys were in a paper envelope - an complete waste of paper! Bathroom tiny and dreadful view of some pipes coming out of the building.
