Several beaches draw tourists to Westerly each summer. But while the beaches are awesome, there's even more to do in this beautiful New England town.
- Beaches: Westerly Beach abuts Misquamicut State Beach with sand, sun and the Atlantic Ocean. A nearby concession area is convenient to grab a bite to eat, shop in a gift shop or get some shade in one of the gazebos.
- Wilcox Park: The park is in the downtown area and next to the Westerly Library. Lush green space, fountains and perennial gardens attract visitors who can take self-guided walking tours.
- Westerly Downtown murals: Downtown includes restaurants, hipster bars, and shops, but it also has murals. Walk through the outdoor gallery, during the day, to view preserved murals on the sides of brick buildings.
