We had a great time staying at this home by the beach. The walk to the Seawall was short. We took the dogs daily. The Strand is also very close. The home has water bowls and leashes for the dogs. They also had blankets to cover the couch as it’s lower to the ground so the dogs thought it was for them. We had everything we needed and felt right at home! We will be back next year!

The place is small but very comfortable. The four of us with a dog fit great for a weekend. Kids enjoyed the upstairs space. Location is great for the things we wanted to do.

We brought our dog to see the beach for the first time. We appreciated how pet friendly the property was and the LOCATION was amazing! Thanks so much for a memorable stay for Hershey!

We have stayed at The Cottage on 14th many times over the last 10 years and it is always a wonderful experience. Ron and Tony are fantastic hosts and so great to work with. The house is clean and comfortable with lots of beautiful personal touches. I love waking up early, making the short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise, and then coming back for coffee on the back porch. The house is convenient to everything Galveston has to offer and one of my favorite places to stay on the island.

We rented the Cottage on 14th for us, and our 2 teens. 17 and 19. Quick weekend getaway before the baby starts his Sr. Year of high school Monday.
The proximity to everything was great. We got in early Friday and Ron was quick to answer our call, check in was a breeze.
The house had everything we needed! The back yard area was beautiful with well kept vegetation and ample seating and lights. Great place!!! We enjoyed it. If I had one suggestion, add a full length mirror!

We enjoyed our stay at the Cottage on 14th Street! It is in the perfect location and was super peaceful. Ron made the check in process super easy, and communication was great! It was perfect for a little weekend get away!

Perfect beach cottage
The perfect little beach cottage. Exceeded our expectations. Lovely beach décor throughout the home. Very clean and comfortable. It was nice to feel that our dogs were welcome there. Dog bowls and blankets for the dogs were provided. Perfect location. Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. Hope to visit again soon.

We loved this stay! Everything was very cozy, our child loved the upstairs bedroom. Tony and Ron thought of everything a person could need while there. Including lists of pet friendly locations, a beach wagon, and more home comforts. We will definitely stay again.

The cottage on 14th street is amazing. Very cute and cozy. Very Dog friendly. The back yard is all paved with a nice privacy fence. Great location within walking distance of the beach and historical sites.

My wife and I planed a getaway to Galveston to to relax and enjoy some down time. This location was great for getting around town easy to seawall easy to Strand easy to Ferry. Communications and check in were easy and we had no issues. House was spotless and ready to go, full kitchen, full washer and dryer. If you wanted a short term or long term this would be the place!!

This was a great house in the the East end of Galveston. We were close to the Strand and within walking distance of the seawall. Also we had our pups with us and this house was completely accommodating. We loved the history of the house and hope we get to visit again soon.

It is a cute little house with all the amenities that we needed. It is homey and comfortable. Short walk to the beach. We were very happy with the choice we made for our short getaway!

People on the island are really nice, too. My doggy met some great four-legged friends as well. I stayed here with my 24-year-old niece, and she really enjoyed the privacy of the upstairs bedroom.
For those with dogs - the back “yard” is a small enclosed garden with a small sitting area. I had to walk my dog for all of her potty breaks as there really was no place for her to relieve herself in the “yard.” She is a 40 pound female, so maybe smaller dogs would enjoy this space more.

Ron and Toni are excellent hosts! The kitchen is well supplied for cooking. This is my third time staying here. Every time I find some new, cute interesting little nook of fun and charm.
