Eccleston Square Hotel

Last minute booking and I could not have been happier with my "happy accident"! The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help us, the facilities were excellent and the location worked, close to Victoria train and bus depot. Given it's location, so close to public transport I thought it would be very busy but it is a lovely quiet street with a private garden opposite the hotel.

Lovely staff. Lovely tea brought on a tray, but not at the times we’d like a cup of tea- last thing at night and first thing in the morning in bed ;

Should have tea making facilities in the room for late night Cubans early morning tea in bed. No socket near a mirror to style hair. Difficult. Really didn’t need an adjustable/ massage bed. Not necessary.

The hotel is very modern and has an excellent location. The staff were wonderful, the rooms were clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable.

The bathroom was quite small.

The evening staff were unfriendly , uncooperative and unreasonable. Room was overheated and the only way to prevent it over heating was to turn it on to air conditioning which made it too cool. My room was downgraded because the only executive room category that I did book for was in the basement. They didn’t event attempt to compensate. I suggested throwing in free breakfast or at least complimentary water bottle only to get robotic, we can’t do that. They didn’t event let me switch to my category room when it did become available. They said once you pick a room you can’t change it.
