Loved that the rooms felt nestled in the environment. Proximity to beach was also great.

Amazing location and beautiful grounds. Quirky, round beach villas, close to the beautiful beach. Comfortable bed, great air con.

Rooms were dark. Shower flooded. Staff weren't overly friendly. Wooden interiors, so noisy from upstairs neighbours.

The cleaning staff was excellent and cleaned daily, which is a must because it’s almost impossible to keep sand out of the room. Breakfast was excellent with cook to order eggs and plenty of fresh fruit, juice and vegetables. Entire staff is very friendly. The hotel is approximately 9 blocks to the downtown area. A bank is located in town a couple of blocks from the ferry landing. Exchange rate at the airport was $16.50 peso to US $1; the bank was $18.89 pesos to US $1.

The rooms are a little dated and need some upgrading on the floors. Our room had broken boards and weak boards where you felt as if you would break one or fall through the floor. Not one paved road on the island, which is fine,but any road maintenance would help the enormous pot holes which collect standing water for days after a rain. The people on the Holbox are very friendly and accommodating.

- Both rooms that our family occupied had a strange smell caused by using synthetic sprays/scents to cover up old smells. Some of our family didn’t sleep very well because of this - Room 800 on the ground floor (and other rooms on ground floor presumably) had no privacy unless you close all windows and doors - We sent multiple messages though Booking asking questions to the hotel and they never responded - We were told in advance we could have rooms with sea view but on arrival were told this was impossible

Check-in was very smooth and a lovely welcome drink. We changed our room to an upper floor. To be so close to the beach was lovely. We never used the pool. The breakfast was amazing - so much choice The staff were lovely and very attentive

I felt the room was very dark and had not realized we were really in a jungle. You would not sit on the balcony as trees are right next to you and nothing to see. We visited the sister hotel and the rooms were more open with sea views. For me, it was a bit oppressive, although with the heat outside it was nice to walk into a cool room just very dark. The room had all we needed. " bottles of drinking water. The room was always clean. We were surprised reception could not answer questions about the ferry and had the wrong information on how long you could hire a golf buggy, which is actually 2 hours not 4 but the sister hotel helped us.

Breakfast was good, staff was very friendly. Beach access was beautiful and the grounds were beautiful.

Pool was in the center of property and very cold. We had to be moved to another room the last night because the upstairs room was leaking into ours. The rooms need some repairs and upgrades but still nice.

The bed was super comfortable, and all the food and drinks we ordered were great. There is a nice pool and many sunbeds but we arrived during a storm so we could not use them properly.

We booked the all inclusive premium and had to remind the staff to provide a with the included amenities, which we got on the last night. The towels and pillows were a little dirty and the room had no curtains to block the light in the morning. The waiters and bartenders aren't fluent in English which led to a few mistakes.

Great hotel, staff, cleanness, facilities and restaurant.

Mosquitoes are all over the island of Holbox. It's not a somethings specific for the hotel. Anyway any means against mosquitoes on top of windows' nets will be great.

The hotel is a great location, right on the beach and close to town. The room was spacious and clean, with a great balcony with a beautiful view. Breakfast was fab, too.

The staff took the cushions away from the beds on the beach a little early, and didn't address issues with a large group of guests being very loud and disruptive, including playing boom box music, on the beach.

Clean apartment, very comfortable bed, good Wi-Fi range, tasty breakfast. Also, the staff with no hesitation accepted our request to change the dates of our stay.

There could be more sunbeds around the pool.

Nothing was special about this place. It was very bad from almost the beginning to end. The only good thing was the picture taken on booking.com. It is a catfish place. I do not recommend at all. For people who like to get hustled this is the place.

20/08-2022: Arrived at hotel, but A/C and electricity disconnected around 06 in the morning. 21/08-2022: Woke up and nothing worked as in 1) no electricity 2) no A/C 3) No water to shower 4) no water to flush 5) No working pool. None of this was told at the beginning or when you book. First night we arrived the pool was not working other than that nothing was told. Food had been warm during the night due to the lack of electricity and breakfast wasn't fresh. Talked with reception were told it is normal and it will come back very soon. Went back to the hotel room to change and decided we want to go complain and get a bicycle so we could shower somewhere else. After around 15-20 minutes of arguing they ok'ed. However, just as we wanted to leave the facility with the bicycles the electricity came back so we were told to return the bicycles or pay for it. 70 pesos pr hour pr bike. We returned to the hotel around 20/21 in the evening and could see the hotel nearby had lights but as we approached our hotel it was completely dark except in the lobby in which they must have had a small generator for the computers. We complained once again and were told the electricity was out of their control. However promised us the water would come back in 15 minutes. We waited around 1.5 hours and and a large group also complained but nothing was done. We had to go to bed all sweaty and dirty. We noticed the sheets hadn't been changed and same dirty spots as the night before. 22/08-22: Around 06 in the morning the water suddenly came back but no electricity. We complained when we woke up around 10 and wanted to get a full refund as absolutely nothing had worked. They could give us a refund for about 150 which is not even 50%. After more complaining we were told they'd give us 215$ refund and we had to contact claudia riveria to get the full refund. We tried to call her but no one answered or you have to make a reservation to talk with her.
