First of all I will say that the customer service was top notch. Absolutely no complaints. We had a major issue with our room, and the people at the service desk went above and beyond to try to fix the problem. I seriously commend them and appreciate all their time. The room was very clean. There's a Whole Foods and Trader Joes a block away or so. It's an apartment, which is cool. The bed was comfy.

Kasa requires an ID upload and facial scan on their site to finish checking in. This is mandatory. You have to show id again in person. Kasa's rooms are a part of a larger building with its own apartments and people living there. Elevators have to be shared. Sadly there are too few elevators for the amount of traffic and floors (6 total, but technically only 3 depending on which section of floors you're on), so there is often a 5-10 min wait in a line during work rush hour times. Our toilet started leaking on day 2. My SO is a handyman, so he knew it was a type of leak the toilet has to be replaced for. Indeed that needed to happen, but the handyman on the apartment's staff didn't have an extra toilet on hand, as another Kasa apartment's toilet had the same issue a day before. The best he could do was a temp fix and hope that it held for now. We requested a new room, but Kasa was completely booked in all their locations around Chicago apparently, and had nowhere to move us, since the bath is unusable. Customer service tried their best to work around this corporate mismanagement. It took several hours and several calls (had to call Kasa corporate through a phone tree. Kasa rep called me back to help but there was no sound on their end. I called back and had to go through the phone tree twice as it reroutes to Kasa's generic number...) We were temp moved to another room for the night, to see if they can fix the toilet in our room by tomorrow. When moving to the temp room, I had to do a brand new check in and have another $250 hold on my credit card (along with the original hold on the first room). More bathroom trouble, this time with me getting stuck inside. The door was slightly off so when I closed it, I couldn't open it from my side. My spouse had to brute force it open. Eventually we went back to our original room and it was okay. Though on the last day before checking out, the toilet started leaking again.

Very convenient location, close to supermarket, train. Many attractions in walking distance.

The property is in a great location and walking distance of downtown Chicago.

The sofa bed was terrible, really uncomfortable with no duvet and it was well worn. Not really suitable for more than a night or two and disappointing given how much we paid for the three night stay.

Great location, very clean, beautiful apartment with great amenities.

Check in instructions were somewhat unclear/delayed. Seems to be understaffed, but otherwise the staff was great.

This was a great location to explore Chicago. We liked the apartment itself. The kitchen and washer and dryer in the apartment was very useful. We loved seeing the town from the balcony everyday. It also felt very safe.

We didn't have access to a pool.

The location was great, the building clean and secure, and the view was good.

I could say the cost. It was more than we usually pay for a room but the place was worth it.

Air vents need to be cleaned. A little aroma from cigarettes and smell of pot coming from neighboring apartments.

perfect location. Walking distance to just about anything. The property also neighbors a dog daycare/dog walking service on the first floor of the building which is super convenient for anyone booking an extended stay, and is bringing their pup:) The company was super accommodating, as I came in for a last-minute work trip. There was a Kasa staff member on site when I arrived who was able to give me a quick run down of the building and even helped with my luggage. I would absolutely stay at this property again, and likely will in the near future:)

I honestly can’t think of anything that needed improvement. The whole process was very seamless.
