Hotel Nanpuso exceeded all of our expectations. We booked a family room with a private open air onsen, and it was truly one of the best experiences of our trip. Our children absolutely loved sleeping on the futon beds and enjoyed the delicious dinner we had delivered to our room. As this was our final stay before returning home to Australia, we intentionally chose Hotel Nanpuso as a place to rest, recover, and relax - and it was the perfect choice. I also had the opportunity to experience their massage service, which was absolutely amazing and added to the feeling of relaxation. The location is beautiful, nestled in nature and close to a river. The gentle sound of the flowing water at night was incredibly peaceful. The breakfast was exceptional too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend Hotel Nanpuso to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable experience.

Room was huge!, stunning river view, large windows that open to allow fresh air in!, Complimentary drinks and snacks in lobby for early arrivals, Dinner and breakfast, wear the provided traditional robes for dinner, dinner was Kaiseki ( traditional 11 course meal) and 70 minute free bar :-) This was outstanding!!, Breakfast was very good also, Shuttle bus to the station, The hotel is a distance from the station and slightly uphill, the walk is enjoyable if taken at leisure and luggage free!

Room was dated with slight fusty smell. Bathroom?

I love the hotel location and surrounding landscape. It was great to stay here with the family in Hakone.
