Older style hotel well maintained. Staff is super helpful and keep your room and grounds neat and clean.

The staff were amazing! Very helpful and friendly. It felt more like we were visiting friends instead of staying at a hotel. The room was big and had everything we needed. For the money it was definitely worth it and I would recommend.

Nothing related to the hotel

My husband and I really appreciated the position of the hotel (close to the airport and easily accessible from the north and from the south. The place is also extremely quiet. We loved all the equipment available to borrow for free (beach towels, snorkeling gear, wakeboard, ...) For being a continental breakfast in the US, what was included in the price was really good. The chance to get tea (with different tastes) and coffee whenever one wants and for free is another plus!

friendly, family feel, practical, room had everything it needed, table outside facing quiet green area, common laundromat, free coffee and ice at all times, great healthy options for breakfast with oatmeal and fresh local fruit. property was extremely helpful with our reservation, accomodating our needs just a few days before our arrival. thank you!!!

Very good situation, can easily go to north or south from there. Very nice view, feels like we are in a small jungle paradise just a few minutes from the airport. Very good service: they make sure you have everything you need for you day but also lets you be independant, by paying attention to details.

Almost loved everything, still a bit expensive but I feel like this is the case for every inn.

The Kauai Inn had a fantastic staff and definitely had a cozier feel than larger hotels. Our room had A/C, a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a little balcony with walls separating us from the other rooms. From the balcony on the first floor you can walk to a back area with tether ball, hacky sack, a barbecue pit, or just chilling on some of the reclining chairs. The staff also let us borrow spray on sunscreen, boogie boards, beach towels, and games. Breakfast included oatmeal, some iced danishes, and granola bars and tea and coffee are always available. We also decided not to rent a car in Kauai and used either Uber/Lyft or walked on foot. We walked to the nearest beach of Kalapaki almost everyday, which was a 15 minute walk. It definitely isn’t a walk to do at night but it was nice to do during the day when it wasn’t raining. Parking is also available for individuals who brought a rental car. As an added bonus, there are a few cats that live on the grounds that you can say hi to on occasion.

In Kauai, there are chickens almost everywhere who will crow very early in the morning and this inn is no exception. You get used to the chickens after a night or two but definitely bring earplugs if you feel that’s an issue with sleep. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!

Liked the 24 hour availability of hot drinks though milk as opposed to creamer would have been good for tea. Light breakfast was a plus too

The location was convenient to the Airport and activities. Loved the Gardens around the property and the coffee bar was amazing! They also had free towels, snorkel gear, and boogie boards we could use. Paulette worked in the morning, and was so helpful and kind.

The rooms were a bit dated, but that added to the charm! loved the rooster wake up calls in the morning.

The entire staff exhibited the Aloha mantra from the moment I arrived until I departed.

early-early (4AM) cacophony of roosters made it difficult to sleep; no real half&half for coffee; nice to have fridge and micro, but no meal-size paper plates or paper towels available on request if choosing not to eat at a restaurant for one or more meals;

Property was in a good location and the grounds were nice. The check out time was good also.

It is quite outdated and internet did not work, which is an essential when you are travelling. Overall I didn’t think it was very good value for money.

Location was excellent. Breakfast and all day beverages were an added bonus. I found this resort to be quite charming and reminiscent of what Kauai is all about. I will certainly recommend Kauai Inn to my friends.

The location was a little but far from the city, but the nature was beautiful around the property. The room was clean and spacious, and well equipped. The A/C was noisy but we didnt use it during the night so it was not really a problem to us. We would definitely return again

The breakfast was a little bit poor (oat and some ready made pastries), but we appreciated that there was something available in the mornings.

It was our honeymoon and we appreciated that the management team took that into consideration when getting our room prep and provided a bottle of champagne for us! Someone @ the front desk 24 hrs is a huge plus. Providing beach towels and equipment was wonderful and convenient! Easy check in and check out! Enjoyed our stay!

Umm hard to say... we enjoyed our stay. If anything, room was a little tight & old appliances but we made it work and gave us everything we needed.

Authentic olde world charm. Self serve oatmeal and sweet buns for breakfast. Fresh espresso coffee with many delicious flavoured syrups generously available in the coffee hut near the pool, a thoughtful inclusion. Beach towels, snorkeling gear, beach umbrellas and cooler boxes also available, no extra charge. Small pool but adequate. Large grassy games area with bbq facilities at rear of the inn. Helpful and welcoming staff. Early morning rooster wake-up call a bonus! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
