This Honkan has perfect location in Kinosaki Onsen, it is an traditional Japanese property, more like a museum, with beautiful Japanese Garden and hot spring baths. Our room had this amazing view over the garden, it has been traditional Japanese experience, with sitting on tatami mats, futons, beautiful yakutas that were changed frequently, all possible amenities, afternoon matcha and absolutely delicious kaiseki dinners prepared of highest quality products. Breakfast was served in a beautiful room and has been out of this world (we chose Japanese breakfast). Service provided by the personal, was exceptional and diligent.

The staff were exceptional, incredible service from start to finish - entry to exit. The accommodation was so beautiful, it was an honour to see the garden and lobby alone. The staff were very friendly and approachable, accomodating to any changes with short notice in professional manner. The food was encompassing and incredible in delivery and taste. I especially really appreciate the option for cooked and raw meats because it is rare to have high quality seafood that is not raw in Japan. The attention to detail was the cherry on-top. Picked us up as soon as we arrived and had drivers ready even at 9-11pm. Magical package of a hotel stay.

I believe that there was not enough clarification , not being clear on how to wear the yukatas for foreigners. Greatly detailed book but wish there were simple details, legend for what Yukata and the jacket pieces look like.

Beautiful old ryakon with plenty of traditional features. We immediately got to the right mood for our Japanese hot spring holiday. Our room was comfortable and the view to the gardens was simply stunning. I recommend visiting the garden during the morning, it's a good spot for photos. Very attentive staff and the breakfast was amazing!

The room could have been introduced better regarding where things were found and how to lock windows or doors.

his is extremely good, out of time and far away from the crowd of Osaka or Tokyo Kaiseki are like diving deep into the japanese culture. If you think you dont like something in your homecountry, try it here! Very nice traditionnal room, quiet

The inhouse onsens are just nice, but I would definitely recommend the public ones The ceremonial for dinner and breakfast is very tradional but may, at some point and only in my pov, be a bit too much after the 4th time.

Absolutely fantastic - this place is phenomenal and I would highly recommend it. The location is beautiful, the rooms gorgeous and the food served in the room such a fantastic experience. The staff were so helpful and the facilities beautiful.
