We are a mult-generational family of 6 adults, 2 toddlers and an infant. It was a fantastic house for us. The house is perfect inside with 5 bedrooms, two great dining areas ( so one was set up as our puzzle table) and fully equiped kitchen. Outside was the topper. A beautiful heated pool, a gas lit fire pit and a barbecue station that was huge. In the garage there were lots of nice pool toys and toys for us to bring to the beach, We took advantgae of it all. You really didn't have to go anywhere but the ocean was a mere 10 minute walk away. And there was a great ice cream shop right around the corner that became part of our nightly walk. The owner was extremely responsive when I texted a few questions the first day and got back to us immediately. You can't go wrong with this house - its everything right!

A great house to stay, especially with children. Clean, beautiful and centrally located. Walking distance to the beach, bay, and many places for all your meals and treats. The five bedrooms are all comfortable, as well as the game, living and dining room. Kitchen has all the equipment needed to cook any type of meal. Outside kitchen and pool are great additions and well maintained. Owners were a pleasure to work with and available when needed. Would definitely recommend.

The property is wonderful. The house has everything you could possibly need. The pool was a Hugh hit with the adults and kids. We were traveling with little ones and separate gates on the back porch and patio, helped keep everyone safe. We drove the four short blocks to the beach but parking was easily accessible. A great time for everyone!

Property was outstanding pool and home were 1st class.
The walk to the beach too long for old folks
the property was about 6 blocks to the dunes which were, 4 blocks long and another 4 or 5 blocks to the water on the sand. Boardwalk was great plenty of things to do and lots of places to eat near the home.
Everyone had a great time.

The property met all of our needs. The pool was a real plus and was used every day. There is a fruit and produce store and a great ice cream shop within walking distance. Everyone loved the place.

4 adults and 5 kids 10 & under stayed for a week. Great house where you can easily split time between beach and pool. We spent mornings at the beach, about a 10-15 min walk from the house. We then spent afternoons in the pool. The pool is separate from the outdoor kitchen so safety was not an issue if an adult was not in the pool area. Nice outdoor shower to clean off from the beach with. The pool is great, the deep end isn’t too deep (4.5’?) and there are plenty of pool floats.
~1-2 miles to boardwalk / Wildwood outdoor amusement park. 15 min drive to Walmart & less than a mile to Acme, a local grocery store.
The house was ready early for us to check in & the owner was super responsive to the random questions we had.

I would like to start this review with many positive accolades of this property. Firstly, the owner D. Matt Miles was very responsive and respectful with any communication I had with him. His home was delightful . . . Location a few easy walking blocks to the beach, beautiful private pool, outdoor kitchen, and the inside kitchen had everything you would need and more. My family of 8 adults thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home.
Unfortunately, I need to end this review on a sour note. On the date of our departure 7/23/22, i received an email for the owner. He wrote that he and his cleaners detected the smell of pet urine and found dog hair in the kitchen. At this time, my husband and i were in shock. We do not own a dog nor do any of the other adults in our party own a pet (cat or dog). In fact, we choose homes that do not allow pets due to my husband’s allergy to their dander. We attempted to convey this to the owner who claimed his friend a neighbor of the property confirmed that we did indeed have a dog. The owner then told my husband in a phone conversation “we have to agree to disagree”.
Here is why i am writing this ….. I know my truth and i also know someone is being dishonest. Although it doesn’t change anything I felt the need to state my experience. I have rented homes from VRBO and Air B and B since 2015 and my experiences have always been positive. Due to this above incident, I have decided if i were to rent from VRBO or any other rental service, I would respectfully request the owner or representative of the owner to be present at the time of departure. At that time verify with myself the condition of the home. I know this would be difficult, but do not want to be placed in this position again where my voracity is dismissed. Although, no monetary penalty was applied, I cannot put a price on the attack on my integrity. I know my truth and am very perplexed and disappointed that someone would be less than truthful in this situation.

The back yard pool and outdoor kitchen was one of the best parts of our stay. Convenient wagons and beach equipment made the short walk to the beach a breeze.

The beach is walkable but we rented a golf cart since we had plenty of stuff and kids to haul, and we had no issues parking it. We made use of the outdoor grill and the kids loved making smores over the outdoor fire pit. You'll find groceries, ice cream, liquor/beer stores and restaurants all within a few blocks of the house. I recommend Sun'z Up Cafe for breakfast... delicious and only a few blocks away. We also spent a few days at Cape May which was a quick drive from the house. This was our first trip to the area and we will definitely be back after our great experience. Thanks!

Great house with lots of character! Several recent updates which were nice. The heated pool was a huge hit with the kids. It was a bit of a hike to get to the actual beach, but not horrible.

The dishwasher still had dirty dishes in them so I had to run it and empty it. Then I went to use the washer on Thursday and the washing machine had hand towels in there that were all musty and gross. I washed those and folded them. I had brought my own kitchen towels so I had no idea they were there. I don't think the cleaning fee should have been charged. Because of the weather (cold and rainy and then hot and sunny) the furnace had to be turned on and then the A/C. Any time I needed to change it, I would have to ask Matt to turn it on and then when I tried to adjust the temperature, it seemed like it would be changed without me doing it.

The house was exactly as described. Plenty of room for my family of 8. It is a 10 min walk to the beach and a short ride to both the Wildwood boardwalk and to Cape May.
There’s a great outdoor kitchen and pool area to enjoy.

The perfect rental house for all!
This property is absolutely stunning. We are a family of five and this property had everything we could possible need. The kids loved the heated pool! It has plenty of space for large families. The owners is super communicative and friendly. We had a great time and look forward to renting again next season.

The property is great! It was spacious and very well kept. The pool and outdoor kitchen were where we spent a majority of our time! The bedrooms weren’t cramped, we all had our space. It’s a few blocks to the beach which isn’t bad, there are some cool restaurants and ice cream shops right around the corner. We definitely would stay again

Exactly what we were looking for
The property is great! It was spacious and very well kept. The pool and outdoor kitchen were where we spent a majority of our time! The bedrooms weren’t cramped, we all had our space. It’s a few blocks to the beach which isn’t bad, there are some cool restaurants and ice cream shops right around the corner. We definitely would stay again

Perfect place for a family vacation. It has it all, ample bedrooms, spacious communal rooms, well appointed kitchen, private pool and high outdoor kitchen / grill.

Great Vacation Getaway
This property was great. The kitchen was stocked with every utensil possible to make it easy for the guest to cook whatever they wanted, including all of the spices and amenities that you would need to cook. The outdoor Grilling station was incredible. A giant size counter top for sitting and relaxing and enjoying some beverages right by the pool and a grill that was big enough for any size family. The fire pit by the pool made for a great memory as our three year old granddaughter got to experience making her first SMORES!
The house was very roomy, the AC was great and we had an incredible time. The only thing we would recommend, from my wife and daughters point of view, is that the guest rooms have mirrors and at least one piece of furniture for putting away clothes.
Doug, the owner was very responsive anytime we had a question and he always got right back to us. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a very relaxing getaway or vacation.

This house is a gem, inside and out! The location in Wildwood Crest is fantastic. Nice walk to the beach, restaurants, fruit and vegetable market, ice cream, as well as tennis courts and the library. Short drive to the middle of the Wildwood Boardwalk. The pool and patio area are wonderful! A great time was had by all and we look forward to renting this property again!
