The property was perfect for our family of 5 and the location was within walking distance to many things we wanted to see (Vatican; Castle Sant'Agelo; Piazza Navona; The Pantheon; Trevi Fountain). Fiamma was great to work with and easy to get in touch with at any time.

You can’t find a better central location. Perfect if you have a large group-lots of room. Very unhappy with how host asked for more cash when we arrived and sent someone else to meet us last minute. This felt stressful after flying 30 hours. Sent us into a panic in our jet lagged conditions. When I asked for a receipt for the extra payment for the tourist tax the host was very rude and said I was offensive for asking. She is obviously inexperienced at hosting, especially to foreigners. She demanded the tax be in euros not dollars (we tried to pay US dollars cash when we arrived, but it was insisted it be Euros). The add did not mention the tax, how much the tax was, or how it was collected. Host demanded more fees in cash in Euros for a 3rd person staying in a 3 bed room but the website didn’t say how much it was. The furniture was damaged and low quality, there were lamps with no light bulbs in them, one toilet barely flushed, one bathroom had no lights at all, beds were very uncomfortable, locks were difficult to open. Overall the place was poorly maintained. The host could have resolved our concern about the tax and instead chose to be rude and uncooperative. We paid the tax through VRBO and suggest you do the same and ask questions before you book. This is a budget/economy stay, not as nice as it looks in the add. The neighborhood is really noisy-on a Main Street, be prepared, bring earplugs. Regardless we had a blast in Rome!

We loved the old parts of the building, the elevator is gorgeous. Security is great. Apartment is clean, quiet and safe. Grocery on the corner and many quaint sidewalk cafes close by.
The young lady who greeted us was very kind and informative.
A wonderful few days in Rome.

We were 3 single adults so we each had our own bedroom and bath. It is close to the Vatican, Castella St. Angelo, and the Trastevere and Pratti neighborhoods. The kitchen was great and there are grocery stores within a block. We found a great restaurant one block away and gelato shops too. The only thing that needs improvement is that the latches on some windows and bedrooms don't work. It is very loud with the traffic, but we were usually too exhausted to care. The trash trucks come at 5:30 am, however.

We only have a couple days in Rome. We loved the place close to restaurants and just across the river from most attractions. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful apartment not far from Castel Sant’angelo. Great neighborhood. Cafés and bars nearby as well as shops.
The only minor disappointment was that according to the map, it appears much closer to St. Peter’s Basilica than it actually is. It is nearby, but according to the pin on the site map, it appears five blocks closer than it actually is. The pin on the map needs to be updated.
Otherwise it’s a great place to stay. Comfortable, clean, and quiet.

We loved our stay at this apartment. It was spacious and in a great location to access Vatican City and other Rome attractions. Near cafes, markets, and restaurants. Loved having 3 bathrooms for 5 adults. Would definitely stay here again. The lift was also a big help with our elderly father.

This apartment is in a great location but be prepared to bring your own personal supplies such as toiletries, paper goods as the apartment had very little there as ‘start off’ supplies. That was unclear to us and presented real issues. Fortunately there were markets close by. Check in was easy.

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable. We did experience a bit of trouble with keys, plumbing and ants. Also info where cleaning materials were kept would have been helpful.
The owner was very helpful, prompt and accommodating when alerting her to the issues.

great location and rooms. We were able to make breakfast and then get moving. We had a car and the parking is horrendous so I would suggest not bring one to Rome if you can. The place was clean and the three bathe rooms a huge plus for the family.

We had a fabulous long weekend in Rome. Our son was finishing his study abroad session so we chose this apt to be close to his and campus. There were 8 adults and the property accommodated us easily. Plenty of room to relax, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and the two full baths with an extra shower helped everyone get out the door easily each morning. Grabbing a taxi was never an issue and there’s a few cafes and convenience stores on the block. The neighborhood is an easy walk to many restaurants, shops and Vatican City. I would highly recommend this apartment. Fiamma was always quick to respond to questions and requests.

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Casa Fiamma. We had plenty of room and were only steps away from many restaurants, shopping and the Vatican. Fiamma was very responsive and super helpful. We visited L’ Etoile roof top bar (thank you previous reviewer)...spectalur views of the city! The Cremilla was a favorite of our kids and we felt comfortable letting go on their own. We walked to many of the sites...Piazza Navona, etc. or accessed taxis very easily. Many grocery stores/ pharmacies to choose from nearby for any essentials you may need. We found a local silver artist a block away and got some unique original keepsakes(Andrea925)we would highly recommend this property and look for to staying there in the future.

This is a charming spacious 3 bedroom, 3 bath apartment located near the Vatican. Lots of room to spread out. There is a pedestrian street near the apartment that has lots of restaurants. A little Market downstairs. A crepe & gelatto shop on the corner. Fiamma, was very responsive anytime I had a question. Les Etoiles Rooftop Garden is just about 2 block from the apartment and has 360 degree views of Rome including St. Peter's Dome. There are several good restaurants north of the apartment as well. San Marco Pizzeria. Would definitely stay here again!
