Located in Mammoth Lakes, this charming house for $593 per night is a great choice for your next trip. NEWLY REMODELED BATHROOMS - completely remodeled and we added a NEW washer & dryer for our guests to use! In the past two years we've also added NEW wood like flooring, appliances, painted top to bottom NEW custom Stair rail! Chamonix is the perfect development for your family and friends - walk to Canyon Lodge, 3 hot tubs, NEWLY UPDATED Recreation Room with kitchen, family room, pool table, ping pong, which also has just been completed remodeled. gas grills, pool, two hot tubs, and fire pit ! Welcome to our Chateau Chamonix! This is the perfect set up for larger groups and families. Super close to Canyon Lodge! We are right off Rainbow Lane an easy walk to the slopes at Canyon Lodge ! This Cozy tri-level town home has: - Access to Canyon Lodge via 4-5 min walk. -Two Master Bedrooms with en-suites on the bottom floor. One bedroom has a large king sized bed that sits atop a platform storage bed frame with plenty of drawers for clothes and a large closet area and en-suite bathroom with tub. The second master has a queen bed with custom headboard and an en-suite bathroom with a shower and plenty of closet space and dresser. Both bedrooms have flat screen led tv's mounted on the walls. -Middle Floor has a fully stocked kitchen, with large custom log table with bench seating that seats 10, a cozy sectional couch, the wet bar area has a custom log pub table, bar stools, plenty of stemware and blender for the perfect party after the slopes! Large smart tv hung above the fireplace t with custom hand hammered fireplace face that heats the entire area and loft! The propane fireplace heats the entire floor and upstairs with the click of a switch. No wood to mess with or ashes to clean up! -The top floor is the loft which has two log bunk beds that sleep up to 6 people! Two full size beds on the bottom and twins up top! Flat screen led tv mounted in loft, full bathroom, and balcony! -Mud Room: When you enter the town home you are welcomed by "Humboldt" our bear from the redwood forest to greet you! There is plenty of storage for snowboards, skis, bikes, etc. Snowboard and ski racks to hang equipment, custom wood storage benches for jackets, helmets, gloves! Other amenities include: -THREE parking spaces -Free high-speed wireless internet -Smart TV and Tivo tv system in the family room with DVR -Digital heating systems with individual controls in each room Business License: 7871 PLEASE NOTE CANYON LODGE TYPICALLY OPENS THE SECOND OR THIRD WEEK OF DECEMBER. and CLOSES MID-END APRIL -- (main lodge is open typically in November) PLEASE CHECK WWW.MAMMOTHMOUNTAIN.COM FOR AN ACCURATE DATE. MOST HOLIDAYS (THANKSGIVING XMAS NEW YEARS, MLK, Presdient's Day). REQUIRE A 3/4 NIGHT MINIMUM - PLEASE INQUIRE For our SUMMER visitors, like most homes in Mammoth we DO NOT have air conditioning - open the windows and turn on the fans. Mammoth rarely gets too warm but of course we can't control the weather! Due to the location so close to the mountain base, you may see various forms of wildlife in the area, please be mindful that these are wild animals and should be treated with caution. Please do not leave food in your car - Bears can get into cars - they are crafty! Mammoth is a beautiful location but it is also subject to the whim's of nature, we are not responsible for loss of power, internet, mountain/lift, road closures due to weather. We also cannot control the operating of any rec room facilities sauna, jacuzzi, etc. as they are beyond our control! The property was as advertised and very comfortable, with a "Home away from Home" sort of vibe. Plus, it's just a short walk to the lifts at Canyon Lodge; very convenient.
Alan & Kerstin were awesome, responding quickly to remedy the few issues we encountered due to unprecedented snowfall. Overall, it was a great stay. We'll definitely be back!

Alan and Kerstin were great hosts. The communication was excellent and the townhome was everything that was described. The walk to Canyon Lodge was even closer than we expected which made it easy for the non skiers to join us for lunch and apres ski fun. I would highly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Mammoth. I have used both several rental properties for years and have never encountered the above and beyond communication like we did with the owners of this property. With snow piled high everywhere, it can be hard to find the location but not with the instructions given by the owners. The place is walking distance from canyon making it super easy to get rentals and lessons for our kiddos. The condo is clean, has great amenities, and super cozy sheets. Highly recommend staying here and will likely come back!!

We recently stayed at this property and the location is fantastic for being able to walk right to Canyon Lodge. The place itself was well stocked, clean and the beds were really comfy. The giant mudroom is a huge plus for taking off your gear . We will definitely rent this place again

Beautiful property, responsive and communicative hosts, very friendly, helpful, and positive energy! We chose this location for a snowboard trip, canyon lodge was less than a 5 minute walk. Condo had everything anybody could ask for. Definitely recommend, and we'll be looking to book again next time!

We couldn't believe our luck when we found this amazing rental available. From the moment of booking we had immediate contact with the owners, Alan & Kerstin who walked us through all stages of our trip and made wonderful suggestions on ways to make our experience the very best. Arriving late at our destination with two cars full of teenagers we were thrilled when we walked into the kitchen and found all the fixings for a family pasta dinner - cookies for desert too! The condo was incredibly clean, well stocked with everything we needed - super soft new towels, cozy flannel sheets, a perfect gathering and hangout for our family and friends. Everything you need to know about this special place is detailed in a house binder - even included photos of the owners family and their love for this special place. The complex has a large jacuzzi and maintinance staff that keep walkways shoveled and parking spaces clear - they even helped shovel out my car when it was time to leave. ..and did i mention location!!! With a snow falling constantly (total of 6 feet while we were there) the location could not have been better. While others struggled with unplowed streets, poor driving conditions and lack of parking, we had a short 5 minute walk to Canyon Lodge which made it ideal for our group to come and go throughout the day. We highly recommend booking with Alan & Kerstin, it is easy to see why they call it their "Happy Place."

We loved the condo!! We had 4 adults and 3 kids and it worked out perfectly! Kids loved the bunk beds, Rec room and pool! We also enjoyed the games provided by hosts. Definitely recommend staying here!!

Expected to do a bit more at checkout than standard I would say - strip beds, empty trash, dishwasher on etc - which didn’t bother us and didn’t take too long (maybe 25mins), but worth bearing in mind if that would bother you or you have to rush on departure day.
Decor/furnishings are true to pictures. Showers/bathrooms were solid, with good water temperature and pressure without being luxurious.
We really enjoyed our stay overall and would stay again.

Walking Distance To Canyon Lodge
We had a wonderful family trip here with little kiddos and being walking distance to Canyon Lodge was PERFECT, especially for nap times! We loaded up in the morning and walked right over to the lifts! Super clean, everything worked perfectly - heaters, fireplace, TV, cooking. Check in and out was seamless and the owners were extremely communicative and wonderful. Thank you for sharing your family vacation spot with us!

Excellent location
Our family vacation was a blast! We were a party of 10 and the condo was perfect size for us all. We had everything we needed and then some! The owners were amazing. Great communication, they got in touch with us prior to arrival and day of and made themselves accessible for our stay. We would definitely visit again.

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property! It was perfectly located between the Village and Mammoth Lakes Basin. Just a short drive to all locations. The property itself was great, and nicely accommodated our families. The hosts of the property were also wonderful and we really appreciated their accessibility if needed!
