Located in Rocky Point, this lovely condo for $467 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. Beach N Place is the place to kick off your flip flops and relax on the the sandy beach of the Sea of Cortez in Puerto Penasco, Mexico also known as Rocky Point. Cortez 1006 is a 2 Bedroom 2 Bath 1632 square foot condo located on the 10th floor in Phase II of Las Palomas Seaside Golf Community. We have recently added a Bunk Room with Twin Bunk Beds each with its own wall mounted TV! The condo has an oversized 430 square foot patio with 40 feet of frontage and stunning views of the Sea of Cortez, overlooking the common area featuring a lazy river, Jacuzzi, and infinity pool with swim up bar. New Built in Electric BBQ Grill and Bar Seating on the Patio! The condo is decorated with modern furnishings from Z Gallerie. Living room has wall mounted 50' LCD TV and Definitive surround sound system for DVD's. Bedrooms feature wall mounted TV’s and iPod docking alarm clocks. Kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate any meal that you choose to prepare. However, you might want to try the Las Palomas 4 Diamond Restaurant Citron, or casual dining by the pool/swim up bar. Bunk room features custom built in bunk beds with enough head room for an adult to sit up in bed. Each bunk has its own LCD TV! This is truly a remarkable condo! The property is a bit dated for the cost. We had two days of limited water access in our condo, requiring us to shower off site two days in a row. We were told that the whole city had water problems, but we were able to shower at a nearby property where our friends were staying. Regardless of the cause for the water issues, we paid top dollar for our stay. We asked for a partial refund, and did not request a specific amount but felt that the owner should at least share in the unfortunate water situation. We were told by the property that this would be left up to the discretion of the property owner. We were offered a future discount on a future stay but we don’t if/when we will be back, so asked for a partial refund instead. We have had no response since. Disappointingly poor customer service. We will definitely not use this owner/property manager again.

Gate security on the third day was a different guy who gave us a hard time. Trying to get back in gave us a hard time it was hot and he had to call the resort to make sure we were registered and when we gave him our names, he said no we were so I had to give them my ID that we still had to wait. It was hot I was angry and it kind of makes me not wanna go back there anymore but I do have to say the other security guards that were there were very nice. It was just that one on the third day, which was on a Wednesday

I must say the view was amazing from our room but there was minor things were very inconvenient. For example since my family and I are definitely coffee drinkers, when we got there we notice the Keurig did not work so I super bummed about that . After a day or so I washed (different setting on washer we’re not functioning/broken) some dirty clothing but came to find out that the dryer was not working properly in the morning when I went for my clothing it was still wet and at point smelling damp as well so I decided to. washed again thinking maybe i hadn’t used the proper settings and again, clothes stayed wet! Very inconvenient!!!! Then a couple days into our stay an item was taken from the room while being cleaned and when reported to the front desk we were made to feel like it was not a big deal which I found very unprofessional. After we reported that incident, it really seemed like the staff was giving us a hard time about things that were very petty so after that day I could not wait up leave from that place! Staff is not the friendliest or very helpful or accommodating! First and last time I ever stay at that resort but the room itself was not bad at all other than some minor things!

We have stayed at several condos in Las Palomas. This one had more then we needed. We cook every time we go and it was so nice to finally find one that had more pans then we needed. If I had to come up with one negative it was we couldn’t find any scissors 🤣 which was not such a bad thing we found some great knifes. Our kids 20 and 10 said this is the best condo we have stayed at in the 10 years we have been going down there.
We will definitely rent this condo again.

We had a terrible check in process and waited for a long time (3 hours). Overall we had a great stay! Perfect location and beautiful condo! We had a few issues but nothing that ruined our fun. The washing machine didn’t work and the dryer took forever. No hot water for the master bedroom tub.

We frequently go to Las Palomas and stay in a ground floor unit, this was our first time in an upper floor. It was very easy getting to the pool/ocean, the deck stayed nice and shaded all day, and the view was amazing. Oh! This one has a small electric grill on the patio.

Great place. Bunk room saved the day since kids decided they did not want to share the queen bed in the other room. Frustration with room not being ready eased by resort giving us a credit for $40 in drinks at the bar. Would stay again!

This property is beautiful and more than we expected from the listing. Very clean, spacious, and well cared for. The bunk beds for teenagers were awesome my kids loved them. We will look for this again on the next trip.

Best condo in phase 2
High end designed condo with everything needed for a relaxing beach vacation from comfortable bedding to z gallerie dishes. The bunk bed room was a genius addition and optimal with teenagers. It was bigger than the photos. It also came with much appreciated umbrella and beach chairs. The patio bar and grill area was perfect for our night in. Loved our stay and will definitely be back to this condo. Exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful condo - lots of space
This condo is beautiful, clean, well organized and plenty of space for 6 people. My only issues were that security was called twice on us for talking on the balcony. Both times, it was the unit above us. When you sit outside at night, it is incredibly noisy across the board so neighbors complaining about us inaccurately was crazy. The Master Bed....so uncomfortable...it was like sleeping on a box spring. Had an issue with the frig, but the owner was very responsive. These items were not enough to deter me from staying here again...the bed would be the only thing that would make me hesitate.

This was our millionth time in rocky point but 1st time at any resort , and it was amazing !! It was beyond out expectations and the view was amazing!!amenities was great everything was accessible and workers were great and friendly definitely staying here again! Can't wait to come back !
