About this house rental
Nestled in Rocky Point, this lovely house for $445 per night is a great choice for your next break. Perched on a dune above the beach, this artistically designed house has panoramic views that bring the ocean to you. The fully stocked kitchen opens into the spacious "great room" with boveda ceiling, wrap around windows, and fireplace. The adjoining covered deck is a perfect place for reading, cocktails, viewing the beach below and just hanging out. It's an ideal spot for watching the osprey and pelicans flying by. The bedroom on the entry level has a queen bed and an adjoining bath/shower. Downstairs is the "open" middle bedroom with two twin beds that opens directly out to an exterior deck. This open/twin bedroom is not a private room. Adjacent to the open/twin bedroom is the master bedroom with a king size bed and ensuite bath/shower with ocean views and a private patio space. Both bedrooms downstairs open to an expansive deck with a private pathway to the beach. Just below the house is a palapa where you can spend the day by the beach, shaded from the sun and cooled by the ocean breeze. The house also has a two car garage and a roof/stardeck ideal for night-sky-gazing. There is WiFi and a DVD player in the great room. The house is available for a minimun three nights stays.

We loved staying at the Starship House! We have come to Las Conchas for many years and have always noticed this unique looking home. The location is amazing. Starship is an absolute gem. The house was immaculate and as others have said, it was perhaps the most well stocked rental I have ever experienced. It is situated on a perfect stretch of beach with plenty of walkable and swimmable areas. The house has multiple decks/terraces where you can sit and enjoy the views. Michael was a phenomenal host. He was always quick to reply to messages and called to explain more information a few days before our trip. He was 100% transparent about everything. We definitely hope to return.

We stayed there for 4 days with some freinds. The house is a great location, very clean, the hosts provided all the basics and more. The communication was also great! I would recommend this housr to any small group who wants to enjoy the beach and the beautiful sunset!

Great communication from start to finish. Entry instructions were precise, many supplies were included, towels felt new, house was clean, all appliances etc. were in good condition. Beach is spectacular and we will go back to this property as often as possible. Thank you Michael & Alison!!

Great house and area overview provided. Appreciated the clear directions to locate. House very nice inside and out and well stocked. 3 decks all provided a great view and the palapa was close to steps to beach. Apparent that the surf taking a toll on many houses on the beach but that was not an issue for this house. Loved having high tide come all the way up to the sea wall. Good walking and seashell hunting. We didn't have to contact the owner for anything while we were there, bur prior to arrival, always received prompt response.

This was a perfect beach house for 2 adults and 4 children. The house design is great for ocean views and easy beach access. It is right on the beach, very clean and comfortable, and has every aminity you need. The property managers are very informative and responsive to your needs.

We stayed at the starship for a long weekend. 3 adults 3 teens. House had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable. We loved all the outdoor gathering areas. Beach was amazing. We are already talking about returning and hopefully extending our stay next time.

The house had some beach toys along with tons of cooking supplies and coffee. Place is really clean. Had one issue with water pressure one day, but contacted owner and was fixed the same day! Can't wait to be back!!

First time to Puerto Peñasco. I’ve been to many beaches in a lot of different parts of the world including Mexico and the beach in front of this house is now one of my favorite for many reasons. 1) I like running on the beach and the way the sand is compacted when the tide is out makes for a perfect running experience. 2) The water temperature ideal. No slowly walking in to acclimate, but still refreshing. 3) Because it’s a private community and the beach appears to be only accessible to those staying there, one does not have to deal with being approached by vendors etc. 4) I took my two dogs and they ran for miles without issues. Scant amount of people when I went (August). 5) Fun beach for seashell hunting.
Now about the house. Take the time to look through the shelves in the living/dining area. There are pictures of the progress of the house being built and a book by the architect that I am told is a friend of the current owners who are the original owners. Something kind of romantic about that.
Great outside areas to enjoy the awesome view. Three different levels to include the rooftop. Perfect for sunrises/sunsets if you’re not out on the beach directly. Inside it’s nice and cool and all the basics are found to include newer kitchen appliances. Don’t expect the cabinets to be modern. Everything is still original. May need a coat of paint but not bothersome.
The garage was such a plus. Very large although narrow entry so don’t expect to pull in a large truck/SUV.
Communication with the owners was easily accessible and they were very responsive to any questions/issues that arose during the stay.
Best of all, now that I know the drive from Tucson isn’t all that bad I think I might have a new vice!! Long weekends in Puerto Peñasco!!

The photos do not do this property justice. We enjoyed every moment from the beach, or patios. Endless relaxation as tides roll in or out. Home design and patios are great for options to view the ocean anytime; morning, day or night. We appreciated the sandy and gradual beach, and very few folks around for privacy and tranquility. The home does have several stairs to consider if that is necessary for you.

The Perfect Long Weekend
This home is incredible. Most kitchens are sparsely appointed. This one had everything we needed. It almost felt like we were staying with friends who had thought of our every need. And then there was the view. Spectacular from all three levels. We even got to watch a wedding on the beach! Easy drive back into Puerto Penasco proper to pick up fresh seafood. Thanks for the R&R we all needed!

This beach house was everything we expected and more. It was right on the beach, the amenities was amazing. The layout and design of the house was superb. We felt at home almost immediately. The wi-fi was super strong. I cannot say enough amazing things about this house. The owners were always available, kind and helpful. Will definitely visit again.

We absolutely LOVED the Starship House! It was the most well stocked vacation rental we've ever stayed at, and it's much more beautiful than the photos show. The Perfect Family Stay
We absolutely LOVED the Starship House! It was the most well stocked vacation rental we've ever stayed at, and it's much more beautiful than the photos show. There are 3 levels of beautiful outdoor seating. One of the three bedrooms doesn't have much privacy, but it has a beautiful view, and was perfect for the kids.
We'll definitely be staying at the Starship House on our next trip to Rocky Point! Our family highly recommends you do the same! Enjoy!

The Starship is WONDERFUL!
Another great stay in Puerto Penasco. First time we've stayed at the Starship--and what a great property. The house is obviously loved and well cared for. Full of light, lots of space for the family. Great, well stocked kitchen. Comfortable beds with nice linens. Lovely bathrooms with lovely towels. Super clean throughout. And the views!!! Michael and Alison were helpful and responsive. We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Great time in Rocky Point. The house is in a great location. Kitchen well equipped but no dishwasher. Beds were comfortable and the AC worked very well. House has lots of steps. Fine for us but may not be well suited for young children. Property managers were great to work with.

Wonderful Getaway Location
Photos do not do this location justice. Every location from the patios, windows, and rooftop provide absolutely stunning views of the sea of Cortez. Even making coffee in the morning provided incredible and relaxing views. Home is well stocked and comfortable. Hosts are very responsive.

Prime beachfront location!
The house was perfect with breathtaking views of the sea of cortez from every deck. It's also one of the best stocked rentals I have been in. Alison and Michael have thought of everything- from the frozen beer mugs to the q tips in the bathroom! The dogs had a blast on the beach!
