Great location. That’s what you’re paying for. Building and amenities dated. One coin operated washer/dryer for entire bldg is not acceptable.

Fantastic condo with walk-out/ski-in access! Condo was clean with a well-appointed kitchen and tissue boxes in every room. It's a small thing, but shows the level of detail from management. The slope level ski locker accessible with condo key was very convenient. Loved the fireplace and the views! Steamboat remains our favorite ski destination and we will come back to Storm Meadows!

Good ski in / out property
Enjoyed our stay.
Everything went as intended and the walk out (approximately 30yards to the trail) ski in feature made it easy to stop in for lunch.

Very good experience in general.

Location!!
Amazing location, within walking distance to the base and amazing view of the slopes from the balcony. Ski in, walk out is a huge plus for those skiing and for those who stayed back it was super fun to have a view of the slopes and the alpine slide. Loved the open floorplan. One downside was that there is only 1 more parking permit, and since it is a rental that sleeps 8 that makes things difficult for others parking. Also, I would recommend adding a few items in the kitchen, we cooked every night and there was no oven mit, baking sheet or pepper in the cabinet just as an example. The bed downstairs is amazing and comfortable but the beds upstairs were not very pleasant.. a bit springy and the sheets feel like plastic. Overall we would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Condo was as advertised except bunk beds are stacked and full is separate but worked either way for us. 5th floor (top) view of skiers was outstanding for non skiers. Entry from cars was on 3rd floor (elevator) and locking ski locker on 1st walk out door and down 1 flight of stairs and across street to slope. Ski to back door from Right of Way ski run put up skis in locker ride elevator to 5th floor walk 50 ft drink mas fria cerveza. Hot tub is not the largest in the world but is hot and bubbly. Only big gripe is parking for 1 vehicle. Not a problem if you have a12 passenger van but we didn’t. Condo price location and amenities were great. We walked to gondola area several times with 3-63 year olds.

We reserved this property for 2020 closing weekend based on 2 families. When COVID hit Retreatia kindly offered a re-schedule of anytime during the 20/21 season.
We chose my birthday weekend and it was my first time ever staying in a ski in walk out place. Not sure if I can ever go back to taking a shuttle. We were spoiled. We only left the condo to ski.
Thanks for such a great birthday celebration.

Pros - Location and view are amazing. Condo worked well with 4 adults and 4 teens. Cons - one parking spot with an 8 person rental is a huge pain. Also, unit has a locked up washer and dryer, and the entire building only has one small washer and dryer on the bottom floor. When booking 9 nights, it would be nice to be able to use the washer and dryer in the unit to wash towels, clothes, etc.

Good, but likely wouldn’t stay again
The condo was nice with a great location. It’s an older building/ complex but upkeep and maintenance have been very good. Bathrooms are small but serve their purpose. You cannot beat ski in/ski out.
Downside was that we didn’t realize that we would be limited to one parking spot when we booked, nor did we realize that is was managed by an off site company. The company was good and helpful for the most part, but just not what we were expecting. You have to go to the company’s office to check in, which isn’t far but we are used to places that have locked boxes. It was also a tad inconvenient seeing as how we got into town during a pretty serious snow storm.
I was very disappointed by the parking situation. We have stayed in Storm Meadows before, albeit a different building, and had a much smaller unit yet still got 2 parking permits. Here, in a unit that fits 8 people, we were only provided with one. When I asked for an additional permit I was told it wasn’t possible and I’d have to call the HOA. When I talked to the HOA they said that they give the mgmt company a certain number per building and the mgmt company assigns them out per unit, so I’d need to talk to them. The HOA did, however, offer to let us park in their parking lot down the hill since we would only be parking over the weekend when they were closed. This was something at least, but the limited parking needs to be clearly discloses in the posting. It would have been a deal breaker for us since we planned to max out the unit capacity and there is no way to fit 8 people plus ski gear in one vehicle.
Overall, it was a great weekend with some of the best pow I’ve been ever seen. The ski in/ski out is fantastic. But when you are dealing with icy and snowy conditions and have the max number of people allowed for the unit, off site check in and availability of only one parking spot isn’t ideal. I’d stay in the other storm meadows building next time around or try another community just to compare.

The location and condo were amazing!
Only downside was that there is only parking for one vehicle, which I don't recall being explicit on the listing. We had a group of 8 people, which required taking two vehicles. At check-in we were instructed to find a parking lot near US-40 that would allow for overnight parking. This ended up working out fine, but was a little bit of an unexpected pain.

Fantastic location
The unit worked perfectly for our group of 5. The location is unbeatable, being able to throw on the skis and go is a dream come true. Condo is a little outdated but most ski rentals tend to be. Kitchen was nice and there was a lot of space, did not feel crowded at all. # of beds was quite convenient as well.

NICE! Great location, great layout, stocked kitchen
Nicest place I've stayed in at Storm Meadows 300/400. Great layout, love the 3br/3ba setup! Corner unit overlooking the hill. Kitchen was really well appointed.

Couples get away
This unit was perfect for 3 couples. Each bedroom had own bathroom. Great kitchen for cooking large meals. Lots of updates to unit. Comfortable beds and furniture. Unit is well maintained. It was VERY convenient to lifts. The building itself is a bit dated, but clean and well maintained. The hot tub was a bit disappointing.
