About this house rental
Nestled in Miramar Beach, this lovely house for $401 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Paradise! Our wonderful home is located in beautiful Miramar Beach, a family friendly vacation destination snuggled between the very busy and crowded Destin area, and the expensive, resort area of Sandestin. It has all the best the Emarald Coast has to offer with less crowds, less noise and less expense. Our vacation home is a 2 bedroom, 3 bath, 3 story townhouse which comfortably sleeps 6. We recently remodeled and renovated, so enjoy the tasteful décor, modern conveniences and well furnished spaces. The 1st floor, 2nd floor and bathrooms are all tiled while the 3rd floor and stairs have hard wood floors throughout. And best of all, there are two furnished, private balconies to enjoy the Gulf view and the sounds of the ocean. The first floor is the ground floor which has a two storage areas, a car port that fits three vehicles, the main entrance, a small mud-room and stairs that lead to the second floor. The large storage area is for guest usage and contains lots of extras you are free to use, to include beach chairs, beach umbrellas, extra patio chairs and table, boogie boards, floats, inflatables, beach toys and two bicycles. The car port is large and is a drive through making it convenient to park more than one car, and having the ability to park three vehicles (boat, trailer) is nice in an area this close to the beach where parking is a premium. Next to the front door there is bench, a shower and foot wash to get rid of all the beach sand. The 2nd floor is the main living area and has a dining room, living room, full kitchen, laundry closet, bathroom and balcony. The living room is spacious with a sofa sleeper (queen), love seat, coffee and end tables, and an entertainment center that has a 42" Sony Smart HDTV, DVD player and WIFI that runs throughout the house. The dining room has an extendable table that seats 4 and expands to 6. There is also a kitchen bar with 2 bar chairs so 8 can dine at one time. The kitchen is equipped with a flattop stove, oven, mocrowave, dishwasher, refrigerator with filtered water and ice maker/dispenser, coffee maker, toaster, pots & pans, place setting for 10 (dinner plates, bowls, coffee cups, water glasses, flatware), cups and utensils; everything you need to store, prepare, cook and serve drinks and meals. The laundry room has a full size washer and dryer, and the conveniently located bathroom has a sink and toilet. And the balcony is terrific, with a high table and 4 chairs, an electric grill and a wonderful view of the Gulf of Mexico. The 3rd floor has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a private balcony and a viewing balcony. Both bedrooms have queen beds, ceiling fans, large closets and are well furnished with plenty of room for belongings. Both bathrooms have shower/tub combinations, toilets and sinks. The master bedroom bathroom has a private entrance while the guest bedroom's bathroom is in the hallway. The master bedroom also has a private balcony furnished with a high table and two chairs, and a gliding double chair to enjoy the terrific ocean view. The guest bedroom has a viewing balcony, and both bedrooms come with the soothing sounds of the ocean. For a nice change of pace from the beach, or a transition to and from the ocean, we offer a nice, well maintained pool that has new patio furniture and is rarely crowded. Adjacent to the property and paralleling Scenic 98, there is a 5 mile two-way path that is great for biking, rollerblading, running or taking a walk with breathtaking views of the Gulf and numerous restaurants and frozen yogurt/ice cream shops along the way. And of course there is the beautiful, white sand beach right across the street. The beach is perfect for families; not as crowded as the condos and resorts, and not as rowdy as the Destin and Island beaches. And there's Pompano Joe's right there to grab a quick bite on the patio, a drink at the beach bar or a full meal in the dining area overlooking the Gulf...our paradise vacation place!

We had an amazing time staying in the condo seeing the beautiful “emerald” coast! Loved the porches in the morning sun, the many beach walks just minutes away watching the sun rise. The bikes & chairs were nice to use as well.

This property was clean and well supplied. It is a very good location to the beach and restaurants. Easy access ramp to the beach, most others have steps that are hard to carry everything needed back and forth, especially with children or for elderly people.

This was the absolute best place in the 7 years we have been coming to Destin. Everything was included, even beach supplies. It was so comfortable and enjoyable. I couldn’t have asked for more. Absolutely awesome!

I can't say enough about how much my family enjoyed our stay in this townhouse! The location was perfect. Directly across from the beach. The owner was very attentive. He checked in with me before, during and after my stay to make sure everything was ok. He was quick to respond to any questions that I had. The townhouse was clean and nicely furnished. It had everything that you could possibly need during your stay. The kitchen had plenty of dishes, glasses, coffee cups, pots, pans, appliances, etc. Plenty of bath and beach towels. They provided plenty of toilet paper and paper towels and cleaning supplies. There was also coffee, filters and some condiments on hand. The AC works great. It has a nice pool. The utility closet was full of beach chairs, floats, toys, a wagon to put it all in and even has 4 bicycles! The complex was nice and quiet. There are plenty of stores, restaurants and shopping close by. You can't go wrong renting this place! I will definitely stay there again.

This is our new go to location for enjoying the beach at Destin . The townhouse itself is wonderful . Immaculate and well appointed , it was a great home base. There is even a storage room filled with everything you need for the beach - a wagon , chairs , bikes , coolers , and an umbrella .
But the best thing about this home are it’s perfect location and the graciousness and responsiveness of the host . The home in right across from a great beach access point (maybe a 3 minute walk ). Pompano Joe’s is a block away . Coffee and shopping all walkable .
Mike was an incredibly kind and responsive host . He answered any question we had , and took the initiative to check on us during our stay . He’s the best .

This was the best place we have ever stayed. We did not bring anything for the beach because everything was already provided which was a lifesaver. The home has been updated and looks wonderful and was very clean. The owner was fast to respond to us and made us feel like we were at home. I rate this place 5 stars but would give it a lot more if possible. We will be staying there again and again. Thanks to Mike for making this a stay to remember.

Easy entry. It was clean and everything listed on the site that said would be provided was available for use. Plenty of towels not just for bathing but beach towels for use as well. The beach was a 5 minute walk away. The in-ground pool was a 1 minute walk from the front door. We loved being able to swim in the pool when not at the beach. Plenty of beach chairs, beach toys, floats and a beach wagon available in the storage room for use. Plenty of bikes for use too. That was a huge perk so we didn’t have to bring ours from home. The driveway was covered and had plenty of parking for more than one vehicle. The owner was very quick to respond. We had no issues during our stay.
We plan to stay here if we make a trip back to Destin.
Places we would highly recommend to eat at: Hunters, Pazzo Italiano, Fatboys, Bayou Bills Crab House, and Pepito’s. All had great service and great food. Prices were very reasonable. If you like to fish or just take a walk we recommend the Okaloosa Island Pier. Only $2/person to walk across the pier.

My family and I booked with Mike last minute for the week of July 4th. The condo was very clean. Very nice updated kitchen. Convenient to the public beach with umbrella service. Plenty of beach floats, toys, and bikes for your use. Plenty and restaurants and shops within a couple of miles of condo. Great communication as well, checked on us through our stay to make sure everything was good! Wonderful host!

It was nice to have the amenities of washer, dryer, bikes, beach chairs, beach cart.
Property is dated, but we don't mind that as long as it's clean. The cleaning lady is subpar and was there when we arrived. She asked and acted like she wanted to leave and asked us if it was fine to leave. I asked her if she was finished cleaning and she said not yet. Again this is not the property owners fault as with everything it's hard to find good help. The beds were clean and bathrooms overall were clean which is what is important to us. The rest was okay.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen was well-supplies for cooking and the grill was perfect. I chose this location primarily because of the closet with beach supplies available to lighten our packing and it had everything we needed to spend the day on the sand. Would recommend this townhome for any family looking for a place at the beach.

Mike was so responsive and helpful with our booking and stay. The unit was clean and easy to use - it had everything we needed. The location is amazing - you are in the center of Miramar and any of the places we drove to for dinner were about 5-10 minutes. Such a short walk to the beach and right by Pompano Joe’s if you need a nice beach lunch. We had an amazing time and appreciate Mike’s help with everything.

We enjoyed everything about this property, from the moment we arrived. It was clean, only a block from the beach, and waking to the beautiful view of the ocean every morning. Kitchen had everything you needed for cooking in. Owners offered tons of information. They had everything you needed to go to the beach, toys, towels, chairs, umbrella, coolers ALL the things! Our only disappointment was not booking for a few more days! Would definitely recommend. We cannot wait to go back!

This town home didnt feel like vacation at all. The freezer was nasty, clothes in the dryer, the sofa sinks in once you sit on it, I came in cleaned up the bathrooms for sanitation purposes as I do whenever I stay away from home. I go to lay across the bed and it feels a little wobbly, my husband come and join me when the bed just completely collapsed on his side. He lifts the mattress up and we find that the bed is rigged and pole split with someone hat and deodorant underneath. We called the owner tell him what happened and he agreed to give us half the money back. The next day he texted but my phone was dead. Once I turned my phone on I called him 3 times after and text him as well to no response. Then 2 weeks later I get a invoice were he is trying to charge me for damages
Wow! I can't believe this guy. Whomever has stay there knows this place is depressing its lightly dim, smells like cigar smoke, sink in sofa, not home away from home feeling. My 2 boys had to stay with my sister down the street because one of the beds were broken and sofa not comfortable at all. The only good thing is was close to the beach.

My little family of three including my husband and I and our 13 year old son, and our little dog visited for the week of spring break this past week and had the BEST time! The beach is no lie a 2 minute walk! The beach buggy, shovels, toys, and amazing assortment of chairs were found as promised in the storage closet. There were even coolers and a nice mat to lay down on the sand while at the beach! Our family enjoyed riding the bikes that were also found in the storage closet. Laundry tabs, trash bags, dishwasher tabs and extra trash bags for the unit were nicely labeled and left on the counter which was nice since we couldn’t get to the store right away. The pool was clean and super close to walk back and forth from the condo! The balconies were super nice and we loved drinking our morning coffee out there while enjoying the view of the ocean. Mike sent several restaurant recommendations and gave us so much detailed information before we came it made packing and planning so much easier. Mike even checked in during our trip to make sure it was going well! The communication was top notch! We will be back for sure!

This was our first vacation using Vrbo and we are more than satisfied. The owner, Mike, maintained excellent communication, made great recommendations for things to do in the area, and the location was so very close to the beach! After a day or so, we all started referring to the property as "home" and really felt more like we part of the community than just guests. This was our first trip to Destin and we will definitely have to go back!

Wonderful townhouse so close to the beach! Walked on the path every day! My girls and our dog were able to enjoy our first Christmas without their Dad. Mike was super helpful, too! Comfortable beds! Beach gear! It was super cold, but we stayed cozy!

This was an excellent vacation for us. The property was nice, the only thing were the stairs. Each step was too tall for me, being the shortest of our group. I slept on the pull out sofa downstairs. It was a great place overall even though I am disabled and Senior citizen. I will stay at a one level or something with an elevator next time. Thank you for a wonderful vacation at this place!

Perfect property for our family vacation! The proximity to the beach couldn't be better and the beach equipment was perfect for what we needed. The host was great at communicating with us and was so nice and professional. The property was clean, comfortable, and safe. We felt very at home during our week long stay. I highly recommend this property for families looking to stay close to the beach for a reasonable price.

Everything was great! Ease of entry, owner is super in communicating with you, accommodations clean, beach assess great. The internet was spotty but not a big issue when at the beach. Would strongly recommend to anyone wanting a beach getaway.

Extremely Accommodating Host Made Bad Trip More Enjoyable
Mike is the most communicative, polite VRBO host I've ever encountered. The property is as described (although slightly more worn than the pictures portray) and has almost anything you could want/need for a week long stay. The ocean is visible from the balconies and public beach access is a short walk away. The weather was miserable 5/7th if the time we were there and I had to have an emergency appendectomy so we spent a LOT more time inside than we'd have liked but have no complaints about the property or the host. Should I ever financially recover from my unexpected hospital stay while there I will definitely return. Highly recommend.

The unit was as advertised in VRBO. Location was great. It was so nice to walk to the beach and not have to worry about parking. We could come and go any time of day. Covered parking was a big plus, and our host was very responsive to our requests. A good value for our money!
