Located in Duck, this attractive condo for $468 per night is a great choice for your next trip. WaveHi! is a beautiful, newly renovated luxury condo located just steps to the beach! Our condo is on the 3rd floor with fantastic expansive views of the Atlantic ocean beach and dunes. Our ocean front deck is the perfect spot to watch the sunrise over the Atlantic surf, wave hi to the dolphins at play and pelicans flying by or to idle the day away. Bring your binoculars or use ours for close ups of the dolphins, pelicans, loons, sandpipers, seagulls etc. We have completely renovated the unit making it one of the brand new interiors in the complex. WaveHi! offers a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed, brand new two full baths (super convenient for a family), brand new comfortable full-sized sofa bed, hallway twin XL reading nook/berth bed, new fully appointed stainless and Silestone kitchen, two flat screen TVs (living room and master bedroom), DVD player/movie library, free WiFi, beach chairs and umbrella, programmable coffee maker, hair dryer, iron/ironing board, new HVAC system, new convection oven, microwave, super quiet new dishwasher, stainless appliances, Keurig Coffee machine, high-end quiet ceiling fans, keyless entry system, and much more. Please note our condo is on the third floor of a three story building with stairs and no elevator. Note: Linens and towels are NOT included in our rental, but can be rented by guests directly with a linen rental company to help guests keep their costs down. Or guests may bring their own linens and towels. Pillows, blankets and quilts are provided. Our beach-- only steps away from our condo -- features coastal dunes, soft creamy sand, nice surf and great beach combing. We have beach chairs and boogie boards for your use during your visit. In addition to our beach front, our condo community has an outdoor pool (unheated), outdoor grills, basketball and tennis courts, pool side restrooms, and oceanfront showers, ocean front gazebos, and coin operated laundry facilities. We are only a short 15 minute walk to the lovely, historical village of Duck where you can enjoy the lovely shops, buy groceries, eat at great restaurants and cafes, enjoy sound side sunset views by the bar, buy books and sip coffee at Duck Cottage, rent bikes to ride on the jogging trails, walk the sound-side boardwalk for bird watching, and rent canoes, kayaks and other water sports equipment. Bring your binoculars or use ours to bird watch and get great close ups of dolphins in our surf. Superb viewing from our deck! Had a wonderful stay. This unit is on the top floor (3rd) and about as close to the ocean as one can get. Awesome having the balcony door open and hearing the waves all day. Very clean; kitchen had everything I needed. Check-in could not be easier. I will be back!

This was my first visit to the Outer Banks and I will definitely return. The location of Wave Hi is perfect. It's a bit removed from the true touristy areas, which I definitely appreciate, but remains close enough to do all the things. I enjoyed a visit to the Wright Bros Memorial and the Currituck Light House. I had a couple of rainy days and a holiday but as the saying goes: a rainy day at the beach is better the any day anywhere else.

My husband and I just stayed here for the second time and we will definitely be back. We first picked this place for our honeymoon 2 years ago and had to book again. It has the best view of the ocean from the deck. Very comfortable and cozy. Would highly recommend!

The unobstructed view of the beach from this unit is fantastic. The condo is clearly well-maintained and adequately stocked. We enjoyed our time visiting the Outer Banks. The only drawback is that sheets and towels are not provided as they are in most short-term rentals.

This property was awesome! immaculate, well appointed, and the view was unmatched in all of the properties near the water I have stayed in OBX. Mike, the owner was so responsive and personable! The only reason for four instead of five stars is there was a cigarette smoke in the air at some point each day, and when we got home to unpack found that it was in our clothes as well. I don't know if that was from the next door neighbor or through the vents. And the pull out couch could have had a bit more padding, although pull outs are never truly comfortable.
Overall though, you can't go wrong with this ocean front property for the price and the customer service!

First time staying in Duck. Wave Hi was a great place. Right on the ocean. Close to shops and restaurants. Quiet area. Third floor was great for viewing the ocean and beach. Mike and Mary responded quickly to our questions. Just the right size for two people. Bed very comfy. Kitchen was fully stocked. All in all great experience staying at Wave Hi.

We stayed at Wave Hi! For two weeks. Its oceanfront location is perfect for the beach and for walking to Duck. Since we were there in the fall, the complex was quiet—only couples and a few young families with preschoolers.
The condo itself was very well-equipped with all the cooking equipment and small appliances you could need. The bed was a little soft for us, but we got used to it.
We didn’t use the pool or the playground. I never saw anyone playing tennis except us. The courts are in pretty good condition.
We were there during tropical storm Ophelia with sustained winds of 35mph and much higher gusts for about two days. We could definitely feel the building swaying a bit and the wind was super loud, but there was no damage at all except extra pine cones in the parking lot.
Overall a great spot for a beach getaway.

Absolutely the best ocean view in Duck! Very clean, well stocked, modern condo with fantastic ocean views. The pool is great and the area is always full of families. We've stayed there several times and will be returning again.

Was not a fan of having to bring our own linens/towels or having to vacuum the property before we left. Otherwise, the owners were very informative and responsive.

We chose WaveHi! for our Honeymoon in May '23, and had an awesome time. The location just outside of town was perfect - peace and quiet, yet convenient to restaurants and shopping, and not to far from activites such as a kayak tour of the Alligator river (!). The condo being on the third level meant a lot of steps up, but the view was well worth the workout. The condo itself was just the right size for two - not too big and not too small. Clean, neat and tastefully decorated. We even went to Ikea and got the same set of dishes when we got home, lol! I'm sure we'll be back sometime in the future!

We spent five wonderful days during our easter holidays in WaveHi and enjoyed every moment. Everything was as described and there were even beach chairs which we used a lot (we come from Germany and could not bring our owns).

Great location & unit being top floor & front of the building. You do have to tidy up yourself but saves some $ on cleaning fees. Decor was slightly different than pictured but not a huge deal.

Cobwebs on the ceiling in the bedroom look fierce, needs a serious vacuum under the couch and behind the TV stand,
looked under the bed and found all kinds of mess, shower had a wonderful clump of long black hair..

This condo has an absolutely perfect view of the ocean. Stunning! The place is nice, but when the morning sun hit the main room, it was clear the floors and surfaces hadn’t been cleaned. Crumbs, dirt, dust, dog hair were everywhere! The bathrooms appeared very clean. The rest, not so much. Also renter beware: You have to provide all your own linens, towels and paper products. That certainty wasn’t clear when we signed up and cost us about $100 additional to rent linens and towels, and purchase what we needed. There was also no welcome book or note, no recommendations about where to eat or what to do. A bit impersonal. The view and location are perfect. The rest, not as much as we expected.

We had a great time but were a little frustrated that so many restaurants were closed. We understood why, but then that should be reflected on the restaurants/breweries websites. It was also strange to see so little offered in the grocery stores. We lucked out on the weather though and had a couple of beautiful walks on the beach with NO ONE in sight. :-)

Lights were out in stairwell on morning of departure. I fell down the stairs as I was carrying luggage to the car. Other than that it was a very good experience. The view from the living room and deck made you feel like you were on top of the ocean. Awesome views!!

This is our third trip to Wave Hi, because it has become our official place to get away and breathe! Always immaculately clean, quiet, convenient, and has the best view of the ocean. And, yes, you can wave Hi to the dolphins! Our only issue is those darn 49 steps are hard on the knees! If they added an elevator, it would be perfect!

We had a wonderful trip and enjoyed staying at this property. Location is absolutely perfect! The deck sits right on the ocean so we had a perfect perch for sunrises. The property is just a short walk from shops, restaurants, and the boardwalk. We got our steps in each day for sure! The owners sent us a detailed and easy to follow description of ways to navigate Wi-Fi, the television, and the entry pad. We would definitely stay here again!

Exactly as advertised, fantastic end unit overlooking the dunes. Sensational view of beach and sunrise. So peaceful you feel totally isolated out on the end. The unit is clean and well appointed, nicely finished bathrooms and kitchen. Added bonus chairs at the entry side entice a glass of wine at sunset!! Love it!
