Located in Washington, this lovely standard cabin for $303 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Hello.At this time of the corona virus outbreak. Here are some reassurances about my place.I am on the West end of Jefferson County. 65 miles from Port Angeles and 110 miles from Aberdeen. The closest town is Forks and that is 15 miles away. There is a large grocery store. I am isolated, with no super close neighbours and in the middle of 27 acres of pristine forest land. I have my own well and I have it tested every year. My crew of helpers are doing a great job of keeping the property clean and comfortable. We get lots of great comments about this.Our favorite comment..."We can't wait to come back". The decks,gazebo, huge yard ,and the wonderful trails are really fun to relax around. And so quiet too.

We stayed for three nights and appreciated the location for the hiking trails and activities we had planned. The cottage is as described/represented. This is a quaint, humble and comfortable cabin in the woods. I don’t believe there to be a better experience in the area if you are looking for peace, privacy and reconnecting. Thank you for sharing your space with others.

This is the quietest vacation rental I've stayed in. It's an ideal location if you want to visit the western attractions and beaches at Olympic Nat'l Park. There's a mini rain forest out your back door, which made it extra special. Fully equipped kitchen with everything imaginable in the drawers! The host was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended place to visit.

Kamala phoned us twice before our arrival to assure we knew everything required to access her lovely vacation home. She has thought of everything inside and outside of the home to assure a comfortable, welcoming home for visitors. In addition, Kamala offered and provided assistance to us after our rental car ended up with two flat tires as we were leaving the Hoh Rainforest. Watch out for the gouges in the edges of the road, where it has fallen away and needs to be repaired! Kamala met us as we walked up the driveway on our second eve., following the flat tires, after the kindly Eagle Towing company owner dropped us off. In the morning, she popped up to check on us, provided carts to move our belongings to the edge of the Oil City Road, where we waited for our replacement car to arrive, and visited with us while we waited. She is a welcoming, caring host. Our only suggestion for the property is to upgrade the electrical service, which would eliminate the need for lots of extension cords, and consider installing a mini split heat pump, which would allow for more even, comprehensive heating while using less energy. Overall, a lovely, quiet setting, and clean home whose owner is warm and welcoming.

Kamala's place was comfortable, cozy, and well-equipped. We loved the location for how convenient it was for hiking in the rainforest and for visiting the Pacific coast portion of the park. We cooked in mostly but went out for dinner at Kallaloch Lodge--excellent food.

The property was great, especially the trails through the woods that allowed the boys and I to enjoy nature while waiting for Mom to get ready to go somewhere. Great location, midway from beaches and rainforest. The trail and beach down at "Oil City" (no coffee stand there, sadly) was a real hidden gem, a wild beach and mostly vacant.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Location of the cabin is ideal for visiting Hoh Rain Forest and Ruby Beach. We left the cabin at 7:15am and when we arrived at Hoh there were only 5 cars in the lot. We had the Hoh River Trail all to ourselves! If the night skies are clear, turn off all the cabin lights, go outside, and look up - you'll get a beautiful view of the stars. We had the pleasure of meeting Kamala. She's very nice and she shared stories about the history of the property. Perfect cap to our stay. Thank you, Kamala!

We loved the cute cabin, but the property was the real highlight. We loved walking through the lovely forest right where we were staying. It is such a cute place and our host was very welcoming and helpful. The cabin was clean, very well stocked and comfy. Would love to come back and stay here again. Next time we will stay longer.

We enjoyed our stay here. We valued the tranquility and seclusion but we also had easy access to Forks, beaches with great tidal pools and the Hoh rain forest at Olympic NP. We also enjoyed the short trails through the property's own private rain forest. The cabin was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed.

Just amazing p!ace to stay. The setting is off road and quiet. Loved our private hiking trails and the fire pit area was very nice on chilly evenings.. The bed was very comfy and sheets were so soft. Plenty of pillows-towels. Would return!

The cabin is small and simple (a very tight kitchen/cooking space so suggest planning simple meals) but the surrounding property is stunning. The short walking trails around the home are just as beautiful as the easy walking tracks in the Hoh Rainforest National Park without the crowds. We very much enjoyed the solitude and the cabin was perfectly placed for exploring the National Park and visiting La Push and Ruby Beach. Outdoor shower was a beautiful bonus.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hoh Valley Hideaway! The property is well kept and perfect for a family. My daughters (ages 10, 8, and 6) stayed busy and happy the entire time. It feels very private and close to nature, but cozy too. We visiting the national park, museum in Forks, the nearby beaches, and enjoyed lots of downtime at the HVH!

Our family spent a wonderful three days at HVH. Kamala is an excellent host, very responsive and helpful with tips about navigating the amazing beaches, hikes, and towns in the area. The cabin is rustic and beautifully equipped with everything you might need. Both of our college-aged daughters said they'd love to revisit, and that's saying something!

Unbelievable place to stay. Wonderful location that was beautiful and so close to Hoh rainforest. Owner made a few trails with labeled plants (with a fun quiz for the kids) that were so beautiful. Fun outdoor shower as an option. Just so far above and beyond what we had expected. I can not recommend highly enough.

The location can’t be beat for easy access to Hoh Rainforest, it was also a quick drive to Ruby Beach! The outdoor spaces at this property are spectacular! The trails were a hit with our kids along with the outdoor toys. It was nice to have a quiet spot to getaway while exploring Olympic National Park!

Lovely relaxing property, would love to be here during the shoulder season between rainy and dry season as I like green grass, owner requests assistance in watering plants due to dryness in area which was fun. Outdoor shower was perfect.

We loved that we could start and end our day with a private walk around the property. The trails around the house often surpassed in beauty the trails we went to visit elsewhere and hanging out in the gazebo or on the porch was a favorite pastime. Our dog thoroughly enjoyed having some space to play frisbee and chase her ball and the grassy greenspace around the house was perfect for that. The house itself is as advertised, a dated cabin, but rustic is not the right word for it as it has everything you could need, even a washer and dryer. Good coffee is about 20 minutes away in Forks and a good beach (Ruby Beach) is about the same distance. The store in Forks is a fully fledged grocery store and has everything you could need. We even bought mini cheesecakes to eat while we watched the sunset at the beach. If you are looking for a remote getaway for relaxation, this is your place. My friends were jealous and all want to book the cabin themselves.

We loved our stay so much! The trails are so fun to walk through and we bad the best weather so we ate outside under the gazebo every day. Such a beautiful yard with the plants and butterflies. The outdoor shower was so nice and the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware. We definitely want to come back!

Such a cute little place. Private trails were perfect for my 5 and 6 year old. Board games and DVDs were nice for simmer down after a full day roaming the forest or beaches. If you forgot something they’ll likely have it there for you. Location was just great. Loved the outdoor shower. My kids want to go back.

Absolutely beautiful in every way. We felt so lucky to find Kamala's cabin! Our 3 kids loved the swing and outside toys. The gazebo was a dream for outdoor eating. The cabin has everything you will need for simple meals. Our favorite part was the amazing trails right on the property; the kids loved following the signs. Minutes from the Hoh rainforest entrance. 20 minutes to Ruby beach. We will absolutely come back someday. Absolutely wonderful place to stay.

We had a wonderful time at this property. The surroundings are gorgeous and we loved the trails right on site. Everything is so well maintained. We got lucky with the weather and enjoyed relaxing in the peaceful outdoor setting. It also made the perfect base for outings to the rainforest and beaches. Kamala was a very gracious host. We couldn’t ask for a more central location. We could travel 15-20 minutes in either direction to see the many beautiful sights in the Olympic National Park or the Hoh rainforest! We will definitely be back!
