Centrally located, the home is just a short walk to the beach and the fishing pier, which also happens to be one of the best surf breaks on the island! Center Street with all it's restaurants and shopping is just one block away. Relax and enjoy the casual lifestyle that Folly is famous for, without ever moving your car! Dine at one of the great restaurants, then take a walk on the beach.. Finish the evening with cocktails and conversation on the home's large screened porch. A true four-season home that's cozy and warm, it's also perfect for winter getaways! You'll really enjoy the new-house comfort this home provides while maintaining it's casual 'Folly-style' attitude. Renovated in a contemporary lay-out, the living room is open to the large kitchen, dining area and the screened porch making it perfect for entertaining both indoors and out. There are two large bedrooms (both are queen beds) and two large baths. There's even a hot and cold outdoor shower. Perfect for two couples or a family of four. You'll find 2 cable TVs, Free Wi-Fi, DVD, and blue-tooth sound - all to make your stay complete. Parking is a breeze with 3 off-street parking spaces including one covered space. This house is clean and very comfortable!! Historic downtown Charleston is just a 20 minute drive away and offers some of the finest shopping in the southeast but make sure to leave time to take in some of the beautiful historic landmarks that made our city famous. If you want a new house or condo with all the modern do-dads, don’t stay here. This house made me feel like I was walking into my mother/grandmother’s home. It was perfect. It couldn’t have been a better trip had we tried. Location is perfect and the homey feel made it the most relaxing vacation we’ve had in awhile. We’ll be back.

The house was comfortable clean and charming. The location was fabulous! Walking distance to beach, and restaurants. We loved the great local recommendations from our host Ernie. Bert's market's breakfast burritos were the best! Perfect for two couples. We will stay here again if we are visiting Charleston area.

Located near the beach and close enough to walk into the business area. Very comfortable for 2 couples! Since it's off-season very quiet and restful. Gracious host who checked to make sure we got in alright and that everything was working. Good kitchen.

We had a great time at Ernie's place in Folly Beach. It was clean, centrally located to everything and had a great screened in front porch. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and would love to stay there again if ever in the area again. Thanks!

This property is 5 minutes from Center Street and the beach. Ernie our host was very good with communicating location of property and offered dining recommendations as well as answered all my questions regarding transportation around the town. We enjoyed the screened in porch and were able to read our books, drink wine and have good talks. Very nice stay.

This property is fantastic! Ernie’s place was perfect for two couples celebrating their anniversary’s. The location of the house can not be beat! 3 minute walk to the beach, 3 minute walk to the main strip of shops/restaurants/bars, and steps from Berts! The house had everything we needed and Ernie gave us all the information we needed to have a fun, stress free trip. His restaurant recommendations were spot on as well. We will be back for sure!

The location of this house is PERFECT! Short walk to the beach and to the restaurants/shops. The fenced in yard is a nice touch with little ones. Kitchen fully stocked with everything you will need to cook. Definitely staying again!

Property was clean, and had everything we needed to cook, relax, and enjoy the beach. The house even had a plethora of beach toys, which were a hit. Walkable to the beach, multiple restaurants, and Bert's (open 24/7 with various sundries & free coffee!). Wouldn't change a thing - will definitely be booking in the future!

This house was in the perfect location for a Folly Beach vacation. A short walk downtown, few minute walk to the beach and adjacent from Bert’s store, which has everything you could possibly need. The house is lively and the screened in porch is a huge plus - we spent a lot of time out there. Comfortable beds and the house was nice and clean.

This was the perfect location for a girls trip! Close to the beach with a wagon, beach towels and chairs provided as well as easy walking distance to shopping and downtown. Clean and well appointed with a 'at home' vibe. With so much going on over Mother's Day weekend this location remained peaceful and quiet. The screened in porch was appreciated for early morning coffee and bird watching as well as evening social time. I would highly recommend Ernie's place to anyone going to Folly Beach looking for that special 'gem' of a place to stay. We laughed more than once about the close location to Bert's store...we felt like we were part of the Sesame Street cast of characters!

Ernie was amazing to work with and very accommodating before, during, and addressing questions before checking-out. He allowed us to check-in early as our flight was bumped-up and arrived two hours earlier than expected. This is our third vacation to Folly Beach/Charleston, and if there ever was a dream house on Folly Beach for us, this would be it. The house was clean, the structure was solid, the amenities were just enough for what we needed to both enjoy our vacation and not having to purchase too many essentials; excluding groceries and some dry goods. The parking pad was shaded, which was perfect for when we decided to drive to Charleston or the surrounding areas away from Folly. Conveniently, outside of the house was an outdoor shower to avoid tracking in sand when coming home from the beach. There were directions about trash/recycling days, use of appliances, etc., and information about accessing Wifi and use the of TV were placed to where we did not need to hunt for this information. I was informed by Ernie what channels I could use to watch the coronation of King Charles III, as this was not something I was going to miss. The idea of being within walking distance from the beach was idyllic and being a stone's throw away from the restaurants and shops on Center Street in Folly was perfect. We were also fortunate to be vacationing when there was a full-moon, which was breathtakingly beautiful given that we love walking on the beach at night. Ernie was kind enough to mention this to us, knowing that this was a special trip for us as a couple. There is nothing like a vision of the moon and it's radiance, shining against the water with nothing but the sound of the ocean around us. This trip was to celebrate our anniversary as opposed to the other trips when we'd visit Folly around my husband's birthday in October. The weather was PERFECT, and the access to the screen-in porch made this feature of the house perfect to play cards, listen to music, and hear the excitement going on around the island. Folly is always alive, so the random party-goer walking down the street was not unfamiliar to us being so close to Bert's and Chico Fao; both Folly Beach institutions. We stayed at a local hotel before working with Ernie and staying at this house. We hope to continue our rapport as his guests for our future visits to Folly Beach.

The house is cutely decorated. We had 4 adults stay in the house for our one daughter’s beach wedding down on the beach. Two full bathrooms were a HUGE plus. No one fighting over a bathroom to get ready with. It was conveniently located and yet nice quietly tucked back some for privacy. The screened in porch was SO nice to be able to sit on even when it rained. Ernie was VERY accommodating and even checked in on us throughout the stay. The house is nicely stocked too. We will definitely stay here again if/ when we come back.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in Folly Beach. We loved the area, the closeness to everything. Our place was very nice and so convenient to everything. We loved Bert's Market, the main street of Folly and the closeness to the water. This was a wonderful first time experience at Charleston. Thank you for making it a great vacation.

This was the best house- perfect location- could walk to the beach, shops, and close to the roads when we needed to travel. Our three year old thought it was perfect and kept asking to go to the ocean. We will definitely be back! Property Owner is very friendly and informative - and true house had everything we needed! 5/5 stars for us!
