The property sits on a hill and has great views. They operate a horse farm and we were able to see them. They left us a gift of a pair of horse shoes as a keepsake. It is outside of any cities and turned out to be a great place to watch the northern lights. They provide a small breakfast of yogurt, fruit and juice which was sufficient for some of us. There is a town about 15 minutes away that has a hotel restaurant and a gas station with a restaurant.
The bathroom door was hard to close.

The view and the horses.
The sulphuric watersmell took some getting used to.

super clean and warm on a cold day with gorgeous horses. there is no kitchen and the only nearby places to eat are a gas station cafe with hotdogs or a very expensive hotel restaurant. also I had hoped to learn about the horses but the owner wasn’t here tonight. a bedside book about Icelandic horses was very good though. thank you.

Nice room with a view, veranda and private bathroom and basic amenities (fridge, kettle)

Our welcome here was the nicest and warmest of the whole trip. The rooms are very cozy and we hat what we needed. The little breakfast was also very thoughtful and tasty. We were able to see and pet the horses and dogs, which was a delight for uns.

the location is a struggle because of the road really bumpy

Views, clean and cosy room. There's floor heating, which could be not enough but the host brought us an electric radiator and it was perfect. Good place for Aurora. Small breakfast included.
Take off your silverware before taking a shower. It ruined mine. I would have appreciated a warning note.
A knife and fork would be a nice addition.

Beautiful location, outlook and cute cabin.
As they say in their introduction letter the walls are paper thin - you can hear EVERYTHING from the neighbouring rooms - so sleep is dictated by your neighbours. It was also the only place where we have been cold - you can't adjust the heating. The front door is glass - some have a small amount of sticker attached - some none therefore no privacy from anyone walking pass and also no ability to block out the light . This was also the only place we came out of the shower smellier then when we went in - high sulfide smell.

Stunning surroundings, beautiful horses and the cutest dog. Amazing interior and a small private sheltered porch. Very friendly host.
It was quite windy nearby, but it is Iceland so that is part of the experience.

Great location. Wonderful and friendly host. Loved the dog that played with our dog. Beautiful views.
Thin walls, but the host was aware and made lots of effort to inform people about that. Most guests were considerate. Very very soft beds that were super comfy, but hurt my old back!

Host super nice and friendly, the place is stunning and the room was very nice as well.
These beautiful horses next to you... Even if there are some inconveniences I would recommend it!
The only thing very annoying is that the walls are extremely thin so you can hear every movement/noise from the rooms next to yours. Our neighbors weren't so polite... they listened to the music, sang and spoke loud until midnight even if we kindly asked them to be quieter, we had to knock the wall... then they finally stopped!

The room is very stylish and surroundings are very beautiful. There is also a cute dog on premises and horses.
It is beautiful and stylish flat, however you can hear everything and everyone can hear you, so there is not that much privacy. It was very hard for us to enjoy the beauty of this place because of that. We had to wisper all the time and didn't use the veranda as we didn't want to make any noise. Althought, the owner warns you about paper thin walls when you arrive, it is a bit late as you can't leave, haha. You just have to deal with it. Also, if you are choosing this place because you want the breakfast included, the breakfast is just a snack, so don't count on it.

Really friendly hostess who met us when we arrived and showed us our room and facilities etc. Beautiful dog too! Small breakfast items in fridge were very welcome. Interesting to chat to our hostess about Icelandic horses and how they're kept on the farm and the mountainsides.
Only negative was the thin walls between us and the room next door so, although our neighbours were not particularly noisy, you could still hear them quite well. For this reason, I've given a slightly lower "comfort" rating but the bed, chairs, shower etc were all good.

Beautiful building and room. Extremely quiet, no problem changing our expected arrival time on short notice. Very friendly host, we even got shown around the horse stable and learned about horse pace racing in Iceland. We also liked the farm’s dog.
