Top class stay - would stay here every time I visit Barcelona!

Great variety of breakfast options and quality food and drink selections. Location was perfect close by and easy to walk to places. Staff were exceptional always made sure everything was all good and ordered/called down taxis as and when we needed.

Could have had an option to connect music to the TV but other than that everything perfect.

Love Barcelona, having stayed many times, and this is one of the nicest hotels.

Very central, within a 10 min walk to Placa Catalunya. We received a free upgrade to a Junior Suite, which was a very welcome surprise. Breakfast was lovely, with a great choice, including cooked food and continental including fresh fruits. We had a meal at La Plassohla one evening, which was excellent. And the hotel also has a Michelin starred restaurant, which we didn't try, but appeared popular. All the staff at the hotel were excellent, very helpful and pleasant.

Not the fault of the hotel, but right now and for a long time they have road works going on right outside the hotel. It is extremely noisy between hours of approx. 8.30am and 6.00pm. And this looks like it will continue for a long time to come yet. We also heard occasionally, very feint rumbling from the Metro line below the hotel. We were on the first floor, so would recommend floors above that to help avoid this. We didn't mind all the noise too much as we were out most times during the day, except during breakfast obviously.

Choose Ohla for an oasis of luxury and a cool rooftop bar.

Elegant hotel. Great staff. Good security. Rooms are exactly what you need. Glass shower may be a little awkward with 2 singletons but you can run the shower a bit and steam it up. Room temperature was perfect. Beds lovely. Great to have a fridge for fresh milk or drinks. Bottled water was replenished daily. Rooftop bar was really wonderful and staff looked after residents as a priority. There were queues of people on the street waiting for a chance to get up to the rooftop bar. Drinks were reasonable for a 5 star. The glass sided swimming pool is not very big but still a fun thing to have. Breakfast was very good. I would definitely come back to this hotel with pleasure.

I was kind of expecting my tea and coffee to be served at table but had to go get it from the buffet.

The service staff provided the HIGHEST LEVEL of service I have ever experienced across my travels.

From start to finish the entire staff provided a level of service that was EXCELLENT! They were available, friendly, going above & beyond to ensure that we had a great experience! Breakfast was great and the rooftop bar was a fun place to visit for drinks and views of the city!

The Hotel Ohla is located in the best part of Barcelona and is superb. The staff were exceptional the most helpful and pleasant that we had encountered on our European trip.

the location was perfect, room was spacious, really well designed and clean. staff on the concierge desk were brilliant and booked us in at Mr Porters restaurant, which I would highly recommend! breakfast was excellent too

The hotel is in a great location in central Barcelona close to the cathedral. Staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities are very good, especially the rooftop terrace.

The room was quite noisy with the sound of the metro shaking every few minutes and roadworks outside.

Staff was amazing Specifically got tremendous help from Sabrina at the reception who had great ideas for hanging out and such a positive attitude. She was only looking for ways to make our stay better. Breakfast was also good

Great Location, Rooms and Staff

Wow what a wonderful hotel! The check in process was so lovely! We were offered and drink and also some chocolates. We then got a room upgrade and our room was amazing... The staff were so helpful and friendly and had great suggestions for dinner. The rooftop is spectacular and definitely worth a visit. We would stay here again for sure and can't wait to come back!

Excellent stay at a fantastic hotel, with great staff

Hotel staff were really excellent, friendly , efficient and really helpful. Location is very good and Barcelona is a fantastic destination. Breakfast and food in Hotel were superb and Rooftop area is beautiful. Concierge gave us some great recommendations.

Doesn't worth the money, overrated place I will NOT recommend friends

The hotel is placed in a good central place, just between the main touristic sights and the beach. We didn't have to use public transport or taxi at all.

The hotel didn't meet our expectations. Bed linen was with strains of something red when we arrived and smelled nothing (we would expect no smells but the hotel manager asked us a few days in advance to choose a special smell for it from their list). Also, pictures of the hotel are made perfectly - watching pictures you expect a much bigger room and a really big infinity pool on the roof. But in reality, the sizes of both really disappointed me. Stuff was very friendly only when we arrived. When my husband came to ask about moving to another room the very same day, the new people at the reception were kinda arrogant. Stuff in the rooftop bar just ignored us or forget to serve what they promised. We had to wait, although we were alone upstair or followed them if we wanted to get something. Also, we had problems with the shower and the toilet - both were partly broken. That's definitely not what you expect from 5 stars hotel. I've had much better experiences in 4 stars hotels and I shared Ohla with all my friends after all telling them NOT to come there. It wasn't worth the money 100%.

Friendly, clean and well located hotel

Brilliant location , friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms, out of this world 1* Caelis restaurant, quiet at night, interesting and funky artwork, liberal choices at breakfast, good amenities in rooms

sadly roof top not accessible due to ongoing works, beds a little firmer than preferable, otherwise wonderful satay

Wonderful stay at a lovely hotel!

Great location, near everything to see: Gothic quarter,El Born, Las Ramblas, Picasso museum. Easy access to city transportation for Park Guell, Sagrada Familia, Joan Miro Foundation museum. Fantastic restaurant and rooftop bar - great breakfast options, fantastic dinners, and drinks/wine! The staff and Experience Desk were beyond excellent in everything - transportation, tickets, restaurant recommendations, daily banter.

The bed was too hard for what we are used to, but we adjusted. There is street noise despite good soundproofing - ear plugs helped.
