great home and wonderful location especially if you want to participate in all the Canyon Road festivities over the Holidays. Very accommodating to the changes I needed.

Very comfortable, homey, uniquely decorated home. As has been stated, great, central location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay—home and Santa Fe. We are in our 70’s and had no problem with maneuvering steps from one room to another. Might be a bit of a challenge if someone has mobility issues.

This property had such history and uniqueness!! We loved staying so close to everything while still being quite in the evenings. The property manager dropped by to check and make sure we had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and we had some great chats in the living room!!

This is the second time we've stayed in this lovely home. We were a mom and dad with our adult children, their spouses, one toddler, and two infants. The whole house is well-appointed, the kitchen is full of everything you'd need, and the living room is large and was perfect for kids and adults alike. The master bedroom connects to the room with the daybed, and the doors in the whole house make for open or closed spaces in clever ways. And in every corner you'll find gorgeous art! We didn't have time to spend in the courtyard, but we will next time! If you're looking for a charming house with 2 parking spaces close to Canyon Rd and downtown, stay here!

We absolutely loved this house! It was even better than I expected. I loved all of the little details around the house, and it was the perfect size home for our family of five. Great location as well. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

My husband and I spent six beautiful days staying at this beautiful adobe with friends. Wonderful vacation and a home we both highly recommend.

This was our first trip to Santa Fe. We LOVED our stay at Casa de Alamo! This historic adorable adobe home was perfect for our group. The Santa Fe style, colors, features, tiles, decorations set the tone for our very enjoyable stay. EVERY room holds unique decorative treasures, and the details were just terrific. The parking was very easy. The location is unbeatable - like two blocks from Canyon Road, and maybe 10 minutes to the plaza. Nestled in a great location!

Stayed at Emily’s place with two college friends and we couldn’t have picked a better spot. Super walkable, clean, AMAZING decor - very much a Santa Fe vibe that would be hard to find elsewhere. We would definitely stay again!

This property is just fantastic! 2 adult couples stayed for 3 nights. We really wanted the experience of staying in a true original adobe style home and this place did not disappoint! Seemed larger and roomier than photos. Tile accents and unique Santa Fe decor accents make this home simply charming. Super comfy couch in the spacious living room along with kiva fireplace made for an excellent space for us to gather and relax. 3 very comfortable bedrooms nicely spaced out so privacy was an option. Kitchen is well-equipped and all linens and towels are very nice quality. The temps were chilly the weekend we visited but the home heats up nice and cozy with the upgraded heating system. The private driveway parking is priceless, made it so easy for us to come and go. Home is located just 2 min walk to a great coffee cafe and less than 10 min walk to Canyon Rd, then maybe 12-13 min walk to the plaza. Staying here greatly added to our weekend in Santa Fe. Hosts were great about answering questions before we arrived. We all highly recommend!

We loved our stay in this cozy historic casita. It was well appointed and walking distance from town; however, the parking was a big problem— our two-car tandem spot was three doors down, and difficult to access with construction. Every morning someone was asking us to move our car.

Stayed 5 nights in this enchanting house on our family vacation from Australia. The cozy property was well presented and maintained with a historical / religious touch. Would recommended.

Our stay at 518 Acquaia Madre was perfect. Upon arriving early, we met Sam, the property manager. He was a delightful, helpful gentleman, who demonstrated caring concern to make our stay in Santa Fe perfect. The house was charming, with three good bedrooms, and one child bed in an auxiliary room. You cannot beat the location, walkable to every aspect of Santa Fe. The host family was very responsive to our communication. You cannot go wrong with this home. Only one car is possible for this location. Parking very tight.

This house was just a dream - historical detail with great modern perks. And the property manager and owners are lovely. I hope to be back!

Very cute property with good location. But the many steps in the house created hazards for mobility challenged people. I think the property description should include some kind of warning about the steps.

When I see charming and historic, I get worried that might mean old. With this rental, charming and historic are defined as fabulous! The house was comfortable, well appointed, and a joy to use for the long weekend we were there. Beds were comfortable. Everything was SO clean. Furniture and blankets/linens were good. The bathrooms were so clean and felt entirely new. I'm not even religious but found the Catholic? iconography built into the historic house to be so beautiful. The Southwestern style tile and custom painting throughout the house were just lovely. They skylights gave so much needed light for two sun-deprived midwestern Spring visitors. The location isn't right downtown or by the Plaza, but walkable if you are up for a short to medium trek, and the house is less than 2 blocks from a great Independent bookstore (Garcia's) and a great coffee house (downtown subscription). The neighbors were all very friendly too. We loved Santa Fe and staying in this great house (don't get me started on the food in Santa Fe YUM!). Highly recommend! The only warning I would give is just because of the way its built, its age and location, there are a lot of step downs throughout the house. If you have trouble stepping up or down, it might not be the best. I was 15 or so weeks out from a broken leg, and I was able to get around and into the house just fine. If that's not an issue for you, absolutely rent it!

Charming, clean, well-appointed, comfortable....all of that in addition to a location just a short walk to the heart of Santa Fe. We four long-time friends reunited for a short get-together and were impressed with how faithfully the listing describes the experience. Emily and Carl were attentive and timely with responses to questions. Their property management staff responded efficiently as well when we had a minor issue.
It's a great place to gather before and after excursions around town or following a day trip to nearby attractions. It was quiet and comfortable every night for sleeping.
Highly recommended!

We have stayed here twice and both times Emily and Carl have exceeded our expectations! We had some last minute changes with our trip and they were responsive and accommodating. The location cannot be beat when it comes to walking everywhere while being “just off the beaten path.” The house itself provides so much local charm that you really get to experience Santa Fe. The front patio/courtyard is the perfect place to eat or enjoy a drink. Thank you guys!
