Great location, close to the local tram stop as well as multiple restaurants, with a grocery store across the street. The rooms are very spacious with great natural lighting. The wall of windows in the bedroom had a door to access the balcony, which was nice to have to enjoy the later evenings. It was nice to have the coffee machine and kettle with supplies in the room. The large couch was comfortable and the mini fridge convenient. The host was very friendly and helpful.
Could have used 2 bed pillows per person. The mattress was average. Sleeping with the duvet was very hot. Synthetic vs natural???
Not the most convenient having to leave the room to access the toilet (in a closet sized room) and the shower area. However, we knew these were located outside of the room ahead of time, as it was listed in the description.

The room was very big, the beds were comfortable and the room was flooded with natural light. There were large windows at either end but the blackout curtains provided privacy. Good access to a grocery store and restaurants
The other reviews about the stairs were accurate-they are steep and narrow. The Booking.com ad says that breakfast is provided-that is inaccurate.

Beautiful room, nice quiet location
My room was a 3rd floor walkup so it was warm and with no screens or mosquito nets for the windows and no AC. Needed to open the windows and the fan was not adequate to keep the mosquitoes away.

WC and bqthroom were separate from the appartment

Owners breakfast spot is under a 10 min walk towards city centre, it was lovely! Across the street from our apartment is the owners cafe and wine shop. Every morning we would walk over and start our day with a cappuccino and sit outside. Beautiful spot! Location is perfect. Close to our all favourite areas for food, shopping and drinks. Far from all the rowdy tourists that tend to be right in the city centre. Enjoyed sitting on our little balcony every night as the sun went down with a glass of wine.
Wifi wasn’t the best, my husband and I continued to use our data during our stay.

Lovely welcome at the cafè. Room very clean and has everything you need for a short stay. Walking distance to trams and bike hire very handy!
Lack of double glazed windows for a quiet sleep (student area), steep stairs so no good for poor mobility however didn't affect our stay at all.

Location was great. 5 min walk to tram. LIDL was 1 minute walk. Room was very spacious. Bathroom and WC separate.
No key available upon arrival after 5.00pm. No breakfast at B&B was very annoying especially given the price paid. Very steep stairs for room access with poor lighting.

It’s beautiful 😍
Really great staff
The cafe and breakfast cafe were lovely
We didn’t sleep very well. It is very very noisy from the apartment upstairs.
My shower was cold this morning.

Location was really good, very close to supermarkets, restaurants and open bazaar in Amsterdam.
Rooms are large and clean. They also helped us about airport transfer
Bathroom was a bit cold for winter

The room itself was excellent, spacious and cozy.
Our main complaint is that the bathroom and toilet were not en-suite. We had to go out of the room and into a corridor to access them. We were not informed of this upon our booking. The hall was also used by other guests and the owner's family, who lived on the floor below.
Another thing we were not satisfied with was the sparse heating. The bedroom and living room were quite cold during our stay.
The last thing we would like to mention is that hostel's owner hosted a party on the night of our arrival. It was quite loud and lasted until midnight. We understand that people are allowed to host parties in their homes; however, if your home is part of a property where you run a hostel, it would be polite to end the party at a reasonable hour.

convenient walking distance to shops, museums, center. beautiful comfortable rooms, excellant bed!
a little noisy in the early hours but mainly on the weekend

Big wonderful room with huge windows on both sides and a great little balcony. Everything was clean and bathrooms are modern.
I really enjoyed this place but a couple things to note. It's listed as a Bed & Breakfast, but Breakfast is not included. The cage across the street serves breakfast for a fee, bit it is lovely and the food is delicious.
Bathrooms are separate. One has just the toilet, and the other one across the room has the shower.

Room and location were a great break from epic journey to Netherlands. Once you're up the stairs!
The staff were friendly and helpful. I was able to get groceries locally and there's a lot of markets and restaurants nearbye.
There's a major renovation across the road. This is only temporary, and outside anyone's control, but the skips truck arrives very early and, well, it's a strip out/rebuild, so there's a lot of noise. Most of Amsterdam seems to have this feature now. It's everywhere..

The location was amazing and the property was great. I had a large room with 2 bathrooms (1 for toilet and 1 for a huge walk in shower). It looked as if the bathrooms were recently upgraded. the room was very clean, included a fridge and plenty of towels for me.
at first I wasn’t clear where the reception area was (it’s right across the street), but it was a cute cafe with delicious food prepared for by the owners. they were lovely people.
I was also able to rent a bike from them which was very convenient.
the stairs getting up are steep! good to be aware of before booking. unless you’re unable to navigate the stairs, it shouldn’t stop you from staying there.

We ate a late breakfast/brunch whilst exploring the town - The location is wonderful, several places nearby for meals and/or drinks. The city Centre is easily reached on foot, lovely walks along the canals and through charming narrow streets. I look forward to coming back to stay sometime.

We liked the location, the decoration the staff and how easy was to find the apartment and the check in process

authentic, quiet, amazing building and furniture
it was being picky, I found it slightly uncomfortable that the corridor was communal. If we had privacy when going to the bathroom for example could have been desirable.

Very lovely place to stay. Location is perfect even can you can walk anywhere that you want; there is a food market really close and LIDL (supermarket) just in front of the building. Balcony is perfect :)
Well because of the Corona they can clean only once a week the room. Not a huge problem but maybe It could be twice a week at least :)

The bed is confortable and the location is good
The toilet was not clean upon arrival and the sheets and towels smelled like fried food

Everything. The room, the little balcony, the small but very nice place for Coffee at bij pauls (where you get the keys), the situation
Nearly perfect stay. Just 2 bmolls. The matrass was too soft for me (i have backproblems) and the water in the shower was staying.
